This review is for Bracco's Towing. What can I say? My…read moredaughter's car broke down just 10 miles after leaving the repair shop due to a failed transmission, and it left her stranded in a left-turn lane on a narrow road where traffic moves quickly. She called me understandably shaken, and I told her to get out of the car and move to a safe spot while I headed her way. I called Bracco's Towing on the way, and they answered right away. Their response time was impressively fast, which made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. When they arrived, the driver was friendly, calm, and professional--exactly what you hope for in a moment like that. They handled the car with great care and delivered it precisely where we needed it. The pricing was also very reasonable, which was a huge relief given the circumstances. As a side note, their trucks are beautiful--even featuring pinstriping--which speaks to the pride they take in their work. All in all, they turned a frustrating and potentially dangerous situation into a smooth and positive experience. I'm very grateful for their help and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

This company refused to give my car back even though we caught them before they loaded the truck,…read morewhich is ILLEGAL. The reason I didn't know it was getting towed? I was stuck in my apartment recovering from COVID 19. They posted signs the EVENING before my car was taken. There was very little warning. My lease stated I absolutely had to park on the street I was towed from as well. I had to pay $150 to the police department for release and then $350 to the company. This is a very predatory company and it's a shame the city uses them. You're all corrupt and should be out of business. Staff were rude and smug as well, especially the lady at the front desk. Wish I could give zero stars.

My experience with the receptionist Selena at Marx Towing Inc. was extremely disappointing…read more After my child was involved in an accident, I came in simply trying to navigate an already stressful situation. I understand that towing companies handle many customers every day, but that is exactly why compassion and professionalism are so important in this type of business. Many people walking through those doors have just experienced an accident, a family emergency, or even a tragic loss. Unfortunately, the receptionist was dismissive, rude, and showed no empathy throughout our interaction. I tried to explain that customers arriving there are often going through difficult circumstances and that a little kindness can make a significant difference. Her response was that she "doesn't see the cars," which completely missed the point. My concern wasn't about the vehicles it was about the people behind them. I hope the company takes customer service and compassion seriously, as they are just as important as the services they provide.

Marx Towing has been one of the worst companies I've worked with in recent memory. I was in a very…read morestressful situation, and I needed a non-operational, full-size pickup towed from a semi-tight spot. I called Marx as they are our local AAA affiliate, and they sent someone out promptly. The driver was incredibly rude from the start. He pulled up and immediately said that he wouldn't be able to tow the vehicle. He tried to jump the pickup for about five minutes to see if he could get it moved. When he was unsuccessful, I asked him for advice regarding what I should do to get the pickup moved. I inquired if there was a different (smaller) tow truck he could use or if there was another company he'd recommend who may be able to tow the vehicle successfully. He shrugged and told me--point blank--that it was my problem, and I had to figure it out. He then left. I called Bracco's Towing since I still needed to move the pickup. They sent someone out quickly, and they were able to move the truck successfully within ~10-15 minutes. I reported the issue with Marx to AAA, and they have now issued me a full refund for the tow that I had to pay for through Bracco's. I was frankly appalled by the laziness and the blatant "I don't care" attitude from the Marx tow truck driver. I will not attempt to use their services again.

If you don't know that's very fast since it's at least a 20 drive from town. I very stupidly drove off road and almost rolled into a ditch. Jesse quickly realized he'd need more trucks. He called his daughter and son to bring two more trucks. They also arrived very quickly. They set up and had the truck out in under 2 minutes. Caused absolutely zero damage to the truck which is hard to do sometimes with off-road recoveries. These guys are absolute professionals. My truck would still be there without them or very damaged by someone else not know kind that they were doing. I am very thankful for these guys and girl. I'd highly recommend them. Absolutely terrible experience. Bracco's Towing is outrageously expensive -- I was charged over…read more$700 for just one day they kept my car, plus another $500+ just to have my truck taken to Salinas. That's ridiculous -- we're not made of money. It feels like they take advantage of situations, especially when it's a company vehicle, and overcharge. When I called for information, the dispatch person was extremely rude and unhelpful, and was rarely even on the yard (if you can call it a yard -- their "office" is basically a shed). No professionalism, no courtesy, and zero concern for customers. I will never use them again. For context, the CHP called them even though I already had my own towing company on the way -- makes you wonder if there's some kind of kickback going on (CHP makes a commission for every vehicle towed). Also, no wonder they don't have a Google Business account -- customers would expose these thieves with a flood of 1-star reviews. Strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs.
