She can now swim across the pool all by herself! Ms. Julie is hands down the best swim instructor we've ever seen. Her warm and comfortable pool, combined with her patient and expert teaching style, made all the difference. We had tried lessons at other places like Boca Swim before, but they didn't even come close to what Julie offers. The transformation was incredible--our daughter can now handle situations like being thrown into the pool or going down a water slide and landing underwater. She's able to swim back to safety with ease, which gives us so much peace of mind. Julie offers a variety of options, including private lessons at her pool or yours, solo or group lessons, and a teaching style that truly works for kids who are fearful or hesitant in the water. The owners, and coaches, Rob and Kathy McKay, not only know about swimming, but they know about children. The children are having so much fun, they don't realize they're involved in instruction. The dojo (computer lab) is very clean and the equipment all works well. My son feels challenged and is engaged every session. The best part is that every belt (level) is self paced. Even after a year in the program my son still looks forward to going each week, scheduling is also very flexible. One of the neat things about this program, when your child progresses to a new level, there is a brief ceremony and your kid gets to show you things they created while in that previous level. He said that "it was so boring and waste of time" In the beginning of the camp they just did coding on Scratch, which is something he can do at home. Next they had snack. Then after that they worked on their Scratch some more and he was the first to finish and he only had five minutes to make the Scratch Among Us plat-former. Then they did Among Us in real life and he said it was so easy! Then they ate lunch and just played Among Us. He said it was boring and that they didn't teach him anything new. There was only two teachers for eleven kids. And he said that there was other stuff they could do to make it more interesting like playing Minecraft or Roblox Studio or use a 3D printer they had. But NO!!! It was just a cash grab and he said he thinks it deserves zero stars. Do not give them your money!
