I recently had Upper Cut Tree Services remove four good-sized Norway Maple trees from my back yard…read more The removal was somewhat delicate because two of the trees hung over my neighbor's house, and all four of the trees had grown up through a chain-link fence and were standing right next to a new wooden privacy fence. Upper Cut was very responsive and accommodating in coming to my residence to provide an estimate for their services. I believe I received a competitive and affordable bid. I found the owner/estimator to be courteous and knowledgeable about the process. He provided me with a two different options and prices so I could choose what I wanted. We scheduled the removal and the crew arrived at the stated time as expected. Everyone I met from the crew were friendly and professional. They worked quickly and safely to remove the trees with no damage or close calls to either my neighbor's or my property. Except for the remaining stumps, you can't even tell they were here. I've had two other companies remove trees from my property in the past, and Upper Cut Tree Services is by far the best. I can't recommend them highly enough, and I'll be using them the next time I need any tree work done.

We hired Roof-Rite to do a complete shingle tear off, new roof install and gutter replacement as a…read moreproactive measure to a very aged roof. After a couple quotes and referrals from friends for the job, we chose Roof-Rite for a few reasons. They came recommended from a friend, the price was reasonable (middle of the 3 quotes), and Jeff was very accessible throughout the entire process. He thoroughly inspected the roof, our areas of concern and promptly provided color samples when asked. When the install day came, the work crew of about 4, led by Edgar, arrived by 7:00 am and began the process of preparing the area, removing the old shingles and underlayment (it's super loud!). They verified the plywood looked good so no additional replacement was necessary. By 3:00, they had the new roof up and cleaned up, getting most of the nails out of the yards (we found about 50 using a magnet roller ourselves after). We've gone and inspected a bit to find a few nails exposed without a complete caulk seal. But otherwise are very happy with the job done and the roof itself looks fantastic. Matt and crew came to do the gutters a couple days after once their schedule and weather permitted. Love the color match to the roof. Seems functional through a few hard rains we've had.

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND using Roof-Rite!! We had Roof-Rite replace our roof in 2018/2019. Before…read morethe replacement, I lived here about 10 years prior, I've never had any interior leaking until AFTER they replaced the roof. We've complained about it to Roof-Rite when we noticed water coming inside (2021). They did send out someone to "check", but they never found anything obvious, yet it was still leaking into the interior. I emailed Roof-Rite in 2022 about this issue the next winter, when it leaked again and explained this, but they basically told me to "go pound sand", because it was "an act of God" and they won't cover any damage. It wasn't until we had an exterminator out to capture a squirrel in our attic about 3 years ago, that the exterminator found a huge hole in the overhang/soffit crevice that butts up directly to the upper roof (house with upper & lower roofs, with multiple conjoined areas). This is where the squirrel was getting in. The exterminator did the best he could to fix it, and it was fine for a few years. Although, it's leaking again in 2026. Keep in mind, we've had extremely mild winters here in 2019 & 2020, along with 2022, 2023 & 2024, until this winter, 2025/2026. So, why was it that the exterminator, back in 2022, found a hole in that area that allowed squirrels to enter the attic space, and also allowed water intrusion? Roof-Rite would've found it, had they done their due diligence. Instead, the deflected, as if it was my fault and that I'm on my own. The common denominator here is Roof-Rite, and the lack of quality work/diagnosis, AFTER they did the work and were paid. Roof-Rite made it clear that they wouldn't do anything.

I've had a fantastic experience with Lawn Pride. Their team has been incredibly professional,…read moreresponsive, and consistent from the start. After just a few treatments, the improvement in my lawn was obvious. Their weed control program works extremely well, stubborn weeds that had been a problem for years are now gone, and the lawn looks thicker and healthier than it ever has. The fertilizer treatments have made a huge difference in color and overall growth, giving the grass a rich, deep green look throughout the season. What really stands out is their attention to detail and communication. The technicians clearly care about doing the job right, and they always explain what they're applying and why. It's clear they take pride in their work. If you want a lawn that looks professionally maintained without the hassle, I highly recommend Lawn Pride. They've done an excellent job and delivered exactly the results they promised.
