In August 2022 I was in a major car accident. I spent a year in hospitals, acute care facilities, surgeries, and finally a nursing home to recover. In August 2023 I was discharged from the nursing home. I assumed that I would go back to my wonderful doctor Saddiq. However, when I tried to make an appointment, I was informed by his Office manager (wife) that my physician no longer wanted to be my physician and that they had a staff meeting about me to make this decision. Evidently they felt my case was too complicated for the physician to handle. This left me in a very confused and upset position as I was now being discharged from the nursing home with no trusted physician to care for me outpatient. I have now been home a year. The transition has been exceedingly difficult because instead of working with a trusted physician who I knew well, I have had to use the nursing home physician who practices 3 cities away from where I live. Not a great time to be shopping around for a long term physitian and specialists. This has been a profound challenge, adjusting to being home as a new paraplegic who needs continued care. I have tried talking with the office staff at this office to see if we could mediate whatever the concerns were that they had. I have felt like the treatment from their front office and the silence from Dr. Saddiq himself has been less than kind this last year. I thought long and hard before writing this review, but in light of the way that I have been treated in the last attempts to discuss this with them I came to the conclusion that this review is long overdue. I find myself wondering what happened to the wonderful physician that I used to work with in this office? What did I do wrong? In full disclosure, I would've been a bit of a project when I first came out of the nursing home. I need orders for durable medical equipment, changes in medication, help withdrawing from pain meds. And home health care. I did it all successfully alone. And in May of this year I weaned myself off pain meds with no help from doctors. While I wish no ill will on this staff and I forgive them, I still feel hurt that I was left to fend for myself, deal w a broken Insurance and medical system and lost a great doctor I trusted as I recovered.

The Dr. is nice but the fact that they make you pay a co-payment for a recheck on a small procedure is ridiculous. I mean you are telling me to come back so you can recheck, why do I have to pay for that? It's been awhile since I have been here but coming back here and dealing with the staff and the long waits has made me remember how much I dislike coming here.

I explained I was happy to pay out of pocket or provide insurance details later -- I just needed an appointment. The receptionist refused and told me to call back when I had my card. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was placed on hold for over 15 minutes with no one ever picking up. I called back and was immediately put on hold again -- I'm guessing caller ID played a role there. All it would have taken was someone saying, "Let me take your information and have a manager call you back." Instead, I was dismissed and ignored. A medical office that can't handle a basic scheduling call without treating a patient like an inconvenience has a serious front desk problem. I'll be finding another podiatrist.

My size, for the shoe that caught my eye, wasnt at out first stop in san dimas but the employee called Claremont's location and told them to hold the pair they had there. So we went here after a 15 minute commute. Not bad. Got to say, this location has less nearby parking and there's notably more traffic. Overall, staff members were nice at both spots. Youre greeted automatically when walking in and, if I asked, they'd share their insight on running shoe options. I was disappointed that I didnt get offered the foot scan thay other reviewers had mentioned. I saw the machine in the corner and when Ive done it at another shoe store, that I used to go to, it led me to getting soles countered to my foot shape. Unsure if they do the same type of scan. Maybe I had to be a member? But I am satisfied with my shoes. Comfortable and supportive. And if I ever decide to jog at night, you'll see me coming! I'll consider visiting again in 4 months.
