They were very efficient and very fast but the woman I spoke with prior to the move ensured me there would be 4-5 wardrobe boxes for all of my hanging clothes, they only brought one. I had to make 3 more trips in my personal car to pick up the rest of my clothes which defeats the purpose of hiring movers. I messaged the woman back on Yelp about this and she left me on read with no offers of a solution for over a year. About a year later I decide to give them another chance and bring up the issue with the wardrobe boxes before. She offers a $50 discount and this time I arrange for 3 people to come and move me from a first floor apartment to a single story home. The most inefficient move I have ever experienced, they took longer to move than when I lived on the third floor and the guys had to wait for the elevator. They moved at a glacial pace and I ended up paying for 3 guys for the same amount of time as it took the first time I moved. On top of all of this they didn't wear gloves or wash their hands so my light furniture has black handprints on it from the moving dust on their hands. One of the guys dragged a piece of furniture and broke off a leg and I watched him use a piece of plastic to wedge the leg back in. Very unprofessional movers in my opinion, only one guy was taking his job seriously and trying to get me moved quickly the other two just lingered around waiting for him to move and package all my things. I didn't see a point in reaching out about the damage or the handprints as the customer service had already proved once your move is complete they could not care less about you. I'm happy I'm in a home I purchased so I never have to experience these movers again.

Very disappointing experience. I was originally quoted around $370 for two movers. I understood…read morethat I would be paying for travel time there and back, but once they arrived at my house, suddenly the pricing was different and there were additional charges, including the truck, movers, travel time, and a $100 deposit. I was in a situation where I needed to move out quickly, so once they were already at my house, I really didn't have much choice but to proceed. What made it worse was that they would not start working until the payment situation was settled, but the clock was still running while we were discussing the charges. Because of that, I ended up getting only about an hour and a half of actual moving work. The most uncomfortable part was when I tried to pay part of the amount in cash. The mover was on the phone with Chris, and Chris wanted proof that I actually had the cash. I was told to fan out my cash and have a picture taken of it to send to Chris as proof of payment. I found the whole situation bizarre, degrading, and extremely unprofessional. I've never had a legitimate business ask me to display my cash and photograph it just to prove that I could pay them. In the end, I paid over $500 for less than two hours of actual work--and all they were doing was moving my belongings from my house into a POD. I went into this expecting the cost to be a little over $350 based on what I had been told, and instead ended up paying considerably more. My biggest issue isn't simply that it cost more. It's that the pricing I was expecting and the pricing I was presented with once they were already at my house were very different. When you're in the middle of moving and need the job done that day, you feel like you're stuck with whatever they're telling you at that point. Based on my experience, I would not use All My Sons again. If you consider using them, I strongly recommend getting every single charge--including travel time, truck fees, deposits, and exactly when the hourly clock starts--in writing before the truck ever arrives.

They broke the feet off my bed rails, broke my daughter's storage, damaged my leather sofa by storing metal parts on the leather, spilled potting soil in my cloth lined laundry basket and in a picture basket (which destroyed professional family and school photos), and damaged various other items. I took pictures, and dated them...just in case. Leaving reviews, especially negative ones, isn't my thing, but this one is warrented.
