This included everything from re-leveling, repairing the roof (in a big way), fixing leaking windows, to replacing the belly wrap and other items underneath the house. We will for sure use them for all of our future needs. THANKS GUYS! :)

But this year it became clear that it was time to call in the professionals to take care of a problem I had hoped to avoid - a complete replacement of the sewer line. I was referred to A1 Plumbing, and from start to finish, they couldn't have been better to deal with. Their estimate was more than fair (and less than I had been dreading). The team arrived on time (a rarity these days). They excavated four deep holes with a care for the existing landscaping. They did the pipe bursting and connections (fascinating!). And then they put everything back together so well that it's hard to tell at first glance that they were even there. All of this they did in two days with me watching over their shoulders, asking questions about the process and taking pictures. They turned what could have been nothing more than a depressing necessity into a fascinating demonstration of skill and knowledge. No one wants to have to replace a sewer line. But if you find yourself in that position, know that the people at A1 Plumbing are the ones to call, full stop.

This is the second time A-1 has performed major work for me. Jay arrived right on time to estimate the scope of work and prepare an estimate of the cost. We reviewed the work together and agreed on what was needed. He followed up with a complete detailed proposal, cost estimate and schedule. We asked him to move ahead with the work. Needless to say, he called in advance of starting and showed up on time with all of the tools and materials needed for getting underway and jumped right on the work. He completely re-plumbed our house in three days as promised. The workmanship was excellent and in fact now gives us complete control of the water system with new components for water and waste water. He kept us completely informed what he planned to do each day so we knew what to expect with no surprises. The total estimated cost was reasonable and a fair price for the job. There were no additions or deletions needed. We got what we paid for plus. It was a pleasure to work with Jay and I would highly recommend A-1 Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing work.

Although we didn't have renters insurance our landlord told us they would "take care of everything" and to "only take the things you need". I don't know what kind of deal they made but we were left out of the decision making assuming that because we didn't have insurance we couldn't pay for it. Well when REDS crew came in to haphazardly move our things into storage one of the guys got a little handsy with a ring set that was hidden away in a tiffanys bag in a jewelery box. Now there's no way we can prove it was stolen but it's definitely missing and no one seems to think that it's their problem. These guys may be doing good work but they let some scum bags into my home wearing one of their shirts to do their work and someone is accountable for their actions. I don't expect to ever see the rings again but I feel someone should be held accountable even if it's only through this review.
