In my NEVER HUMBLE OPINION 　 Connie Larkin has the best massage hands anywhere within driving distance. Possibly even further, but I have no desire to even find out. I was in a severe auto accident several years ago that caused disc damage along my entire spine, hip issues, neck and shoulder issues, 17 knee surgeries resulting in knee replacements, relentless fibromyalgia and has developed degenerative disc disease. Yup ........... I'm a disaster!! LOL I'm very touchy about my back and neck especially. If you don't come highly recommended, I won't even take a chance on you touching my body. I need someone that is highly skilled and has an exemplary knowledge of how the body works together and has unlimited control over her touch. I need someone that can DIG IN in the right places and cause my tissue to "drain" ........ I want to hear the fluid in my tissues move!! If I want a "back rub" I'll go and see my mom, but if I want a therapeutic massage, I want only one person ......... Connie Larkin. Connie has licensing and certifications to match or exceed anyone I've seen and she easily performs her expertise in each one. I can't say enough about the surroundings at her new digs at Quality Life Massage Therapy! The office is quite relaxing and laid back. Connie's private therapy room has a fully adjustable temperature control. pleasant decor, and simply whatever you need to relax and get the most out of your treatment. The best part of all is that there is absolutely no doubt in your mind that she has your best interest uppermost on her mind and will do whatever it takes to reach your optimum comfort and therefore the absolute best therapeutic massage you have ever had. Most recently, I was unable to walk and this woman made time for me on short notice and improved my situation to a level that I can't even express. If Connie wasn't going to be able to help me, then I was going to the ER to get help with pain control. Connie totally turned my situation around ..... and she's consistent. Leslie is a very talented massage therapist, and I'm grateful to have found her. She is both educated and intuitive, which allows her to explain exactly which muscles are tweaked and to select the best modalities to help provide relief. My partner and I have been going here for almost a year and are very pleased. At the beginning of most of our sessions, Leslie shows me an anatomy app with the muscle group highlighted that I just described pain in. I then get a brief lesson about how those muscles work together, so I can better understand how the dysfunction might have been caused. That has been so helpful in my quest to live mindfully and pain-free. The massage table has one of those nice anatomical cushions for when you're lying on your stomach, and if I ask, she uses aromatherapy oil to help unclog my sinuses that result from from lying face down for a while. When I request a foot massage, she oils them up and puts them in heated boots first, which feels very nice. As a side note, the bathroom there is great. It's very spacious, clean, cute, and stocked with helpful bathroom things. Good spot to clear your head before and/or after a session. After we each had an initial appointment, I bought a discounted package of 6 massages to share with my partner. I have since bought another pack and am about to buy a third. This was my first experience having professional massage done, ever. I've been very stressed for almost over a year now, and my back and shoulders have been hurting like crazy. I found this place through yelp and decided to give it a try and booked an hour massage with Leslie (the owner). From the moment I entered the doors, I was greeted by Leslie even though she was finishing with another guest. She made me feel very welcome and even asked if I'd like anything to drink. Before our session have started, I let her know that this was my very first time getting massage from a professional, and I didn't know what to expect. She was incredible and provided me with so much information about massage therapy and explained to me how everything works. She asked me few questions about pains in my body that I've been having and told me what will help. Rooms and atmosphere of this place is phenomenal, clean, and very relaxing, zen!!! Leslie has got to be the best in her field! She is awesome. I have had several massages in the past and none have been as relaxing as hers. She listens to your concerns and the areas where you may be having problems and goes right to work. What I found most relaxing about Leslie's massage is she didn't disturb me with idle chit chat as most of the people I had ever gone to. The massage room was very relaxing and quiet and she only spoke to ask questions about her massage. I would recommend her to every one I know. As I said before she is the BEST!!!! I recently purchased a gift certificate from her for a friend as a birthday gift and my friend couldn't have been more excited. Yet again...I was brought back to life. I'm pretty fit guy however if you don't use it you tend to lose. I got back into my normal work out routine and hurt my back doing crushes. After waiting a few days to see if pain would go away and nothing happened, I put in the call to Leslie. Went in for a 1 hr massage. I didn't feel much relief right away. It's clear Leslie is a dedicated and capable massage therapist, and I was surprised at the degree of relief from chronic muscle pain I felt after the session. Leslie was courteous and professional, and took time to explain all the treatments and methods she would use. The initial treatment discussion didn't even count towards the session time. I first saw Leslie Forrester for what was an extremely painful frozen right shoulder--unable to lift or laterally extend my right arm. In only one session, Leslie worked a miracle and I could finally move that arm. My (adult) son, I found out later, also had a frozen shoulder, and though he followed the advice of the Nurse Practitioner his company employs, two months later he is in pain and lacks full range of motion in that arm. Would agree with prior reviewer that my massage was tailored to my specific needs. I'm a senior citizen and not only have shoulder issues but problems with sore neck muscles - likely from bad posture while on the computer and frequent reading (and maybe just due to my age!). Leslie gives great massages! She listens to your description of issues you have and uses the correct technique to address them. Absolutely the best massage I have ever had. I went in with significant pain and reduced range of motion in my neck. I left feeling better and the next day I had full range of motion back. Leslie uses deep tissue massage but employs techniques to reduce the pain (if necessary). Im also a HUGE fan of the cupping, simply incredible!!! read more

I have had a few massages by Leslie and each time she is able to identify areas that are triggering discomfort and work out the tight areas. Leslie is very knowledgeable regarding joints and muscles and the appropriate method to relieve discomfort. She is up to date on the best techniques. She uses cupping which is amazing. read more
