I had the interior of my house painted, as well as my kitchen cabinets painted. My kitchen cabinets look brand new! There are lots of shutters, and they did an exceptional job. The prep before the actual painting was mind blowing! So much time was spent masking and closing off rooms, so when they were done there was no overspray. They fixed prior painting flops/drips, and when they were done we walked through the house and they touched up a couple of drips on the shutters. Manuel was very thoughtful when doing the touch-ups. Christian fixed a poorly installed kitchen cabinet pull-out for me and was happy to help me out. Alexis was in constant work mode, and did a remarkable job. I initially reached out to 5 painters, and 4 responded. Out of the 4, Ivan easily impressed me the most, and his quote was not the cheapest but was one of the lower ones. He was not trying to sell me, which I appreciated. He listened carefully to me as I explained what I wanted done, walked me through some options, and then explained to me how the Finish Coat Painting process worked, as far as masking, wall prep, de-greasing and sanding the kitchen cabinets before applying a primer and then two coats of cabinet paint, etc. I knew right away he has been doing this for a long time and was very confident his crew would take care of me, which they did, and even after everything was done and looked flawless, Ivan told me if I saw anything that needed to be fixed to give him a call and they would take care of it. He's very kind and explained everything involved in the process. He is clearly proud of the work he has performed and showed us beautiful examples of recently completed jobs. We got bids from numerous companies. Some were very high priced. Some in the middle. AZ West Painting was on the more reasonable end. But AZ West Painting does a much more involved process than several of the much more expensive options, so they were the clear winner. Cris and his crew arrived at the date and time they were scheduled and got the job done well within the estimated time of completion. In fact I think they were done possibly a day early. They spent a good part of the time repairing damaged cabinets and prepping for the actual painting. They installed new hardware of our choosing, they installed crown molding. After the painting was completed we were floored. It made our 19 year old house look brand new. Cris and his crew did an amazing job and I cannot recommend him enough. If you need to get cabinets refinished this is the company to choose. I've attached 2 before photos which are from the MLS listing so they don't look nearly as bad as they actually did. After a phone call with the contractor, Chris voiced his concern regarding my payment(s) to the contractor for a city requirement before he could initiate the painting, essentially accusing me of failing to pay the contractor for the project. To begin with, you do not have the authority to dictate when I should pay for a service that you are not delivering. Furthermore, he was unaware that I had already completed two of the four payments for the project, and instead, he immediately took the contractor's side. Chris accused me without taking the time to verify the facts or engage in a mature dialogue about the situation, and instead insisted that I resolve this issue with the contractor. I tried to clarify that I had already made the necessary payments to the contractor and expressed my confusion at being accused of this, offering to provide proof of payments, to which Chris replied, "Okay, I'm out. Good luck." I find this behavior to be exceedingly rude and unprofessional. How ironic that they advertise Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed on their website. Business 101: Customer service should be provided before, during, and after the purchase of a service. I will certainly not be reaching out to AZ West Painting for any future projects.

You'll always have some hiccups with construction but this company is family owned and they want to make sure your very pleased. We waited the full 30 days after painting to replace items on the painted shelves that were part of our kitchen. I have waited until now to write my review to be sure that the painted cabinet surfaces held up to everyday wear and tear. All I can say is that Elite did a fantastic job! Ernesto came and gave us the initial quote in December 2025 and he was also on our job every single day. Our painting work was performed by Ernesto himself and one other contractor (Tony). They worked quite independently, diligently and were patient and easy to communicate with throughout the project as I was onsite (and watching intently) the entire time. Ernesto's and Tony's work was top-notch. Also, the office staff person, Sasha, did a great job, start to finish: first, in getting us scheduled in a very timely manner; all the way to the end, with final payment processing.
