Ivan and the crew just finished painting my home exterior and It was nothing but a good experience. There was a slab repair that needed to take place and it's now painted and looks like it was never an issue. Five stars for the entire experience. read more

Choosing Finish Coat Painting was the best choice I have made in awhile! Brothers Ivan and Victor Cruz are not only such good guys, they take great pride in their work, which is magnified by their crew of workers. I had the interior of my house painted, as well as my kitchen cabinets painted. My kitchen cabinets look brand new! There are lots of shutters, and they did an exceptional job. The prep before the actual painting was mind blowing! So much time was spent masking and closing off rooms, so when they were done there was no overspray. They fixed prior painting flops/drips, and when they were done we walked through the house and they touched up a couple of drips on the shutters. Manuel was very thoughtful when doing the touch-ups. Christian fixed a poorly installed kitchen cabinet pull-out for me and was happy to help me out. Alexis was in constant work mode, and did a remarkable job. I initially reached out to 5 painters, and 4 responded. Out of the 4, Ivan easily impressed me the most, and his quote was not the cheapest but was one of the lower ones. He was not trying to sell me, which I appreciated. He listened carefully to me as I explained what I wanted done, walked me through some options, and then explained to me how the Finish Coat Painting process worked, as far as masking, wall prep, de-greasing and sanding the kitchen cabinets before applying a primer and then two coats of cabinet paint, etc. I knew right away he has been doing this for a long time and was very confident his crew would take care of me, which they did, and even after everything was done and looked flawless, Ivan told me if I saw anything that needed to be fixed to give him a call and they would take care of it. Now that's customer service and a group that is easy to recommend! As far as value goes, you cannot do any better than Finish Coat Painting, and they will be my only call for painting going forward. Thank you Ivan, Victor and your wonderful crew! read more

Although we ultimately went with a different company- we received a great quote and outstanding customer service and responsiveness from this company! read more

Next time you are looking for a high-quality painting team, make sure you look up the folks at Finish Coat Painting.  They are a family-owned and operated business. Ivan and Jose take great care and pride in every project. The team just completed a full exterior repaint of one of our rental units;  they did a fantastic job. These two gents are professional, honest, and interested in ensuring customer satisfaction, Their pricing is good and competitive. Getting an Estimate and Scheduling the work was simple.  The team showed up on time every day and did a super job of prep work prior to painting. The entire job was completed in only 3 days and exactly on the schedule we discussed. As we are repeat customers, we can honestly say that the same degree of professionalism and high-quality work we received on two previous full exterior repaints was duplicated on our most recent rental repaint project (other jobs included a rental/duplex, the other our primary home) . These gents are your "go to guys" to address your painting needs. Highly Recommended! All the best to Ivan and Jose. Thanks Guys! read more

Ivan, Victor and the crew did an amazing job on the interior paint job of our home. They were on time, professional and it all looks amazing. We will be using them to paint the exterior as well. Highly recommended! read more

We are very pleased with the paint job we received. Ivan and his entire crew were fantastic, and we are very particular. They all show up on time and are ready to work. Everyone is respectful of the property, super easy to work with, and quite accommodating. The communication from bid time, throughout the job, and after completion is most impressive. I seldom recommend a subcontractor, but this outfit, I recommend without hesitation. Look at the pictures of the beautiful job they did at bringing life back to this 55-year-old house, and even painted the dog door! We chose the Emerald Rain Refresh Paint by Sherwin Williams and were told at SW that the contractors have to be extra diligent with prep for this paint because tape doesn't stick well. The crew was well versed in all materials, so it all came out great. read more

I want to thank Ivan, Victor, Manuel and Hugo for doing an outstanding job painting four rooms in my home. From meeting Ivan, going over the project, selecting paint quality and color to the care and attention to detail, I was greatly impressed. And hey, everyone showed up on time! I normally do my own work and am extremely fussy, but because of health issues I had to hire someone. And these guys checked all the boxes. The perfect lines where they cut in for a color change say plenty. They get an 11 on a scale of 10. I highly recommend using Ivan and his terrific crew at Finish Coat Painting for any and all painting you have a need for. read more

Very professional and quality work! I would definitely recommend them and would use them again! Our baseboards look great!

I contacted Ivan in early January to get quotes on the interior and exterior painting of my home. Ivan was responsive in setting up a time to meet answer review the projects. I had a very reasonable quote sent to me within a few days. Ivan was exceedingly patient with me over the next two months. We changed the project up a few times and even cancelled the interior project at one point (not because of Ivan but because of another shady contractor). I contacted Ivan again in mid-February and we got back on his schedule. Painting day came and a veritable fleet of painters descended upon our house. They taped off and covered everything (we'd moved all furniture to the middle of the room) and it took them about 9 hours to do our entire downstairs (two story open floor plan) and upstairs loft. The master bedroom and bath done on the 2nd day. The attention to detail by the crew is outstanding. They are professionals and know what they're doing. The entire team are great guys and it's wonderful to see that they are a family business. They even painted the stair railing for us on the same day when we looked at the amazing paint job and wanted to cover the old oak railing. I highly recommend Ivan and his team. We couldn't be happier with the results. read more

I had the exterior of my home painted by Ivan and his team; they were fabulous. Ivan came out in person for the estimate and walked me through and around the house, explaining what they would do. Overall, the estimate was comprehensive and quick to send; I received it the day Ivan came out. The pricing is fair--the estimate lists everything included in the price. I REALLY appreciated that. Everyone I interacted with from Finish Coat Painting was professional and polite. 10/10 will hire again for future painting projects. read more

My husband and I bought a condo and thought we could paint what needed to be done but quickly realized the entire place needed painting, ceilings, walls, baseboards, even doors. I went on Yelp and requested quotes from local painters. We decided to go with Finish Coat Painting because their quote was reasonable and we liked that they didn't limit the number of colors. Ivan and his crew just finished up a painting project in our house. I was very impressed with everything they did, from the estimate, schedule, communication and finally the job itself. They are not a head office company who relies on minimum wage subcontractors. Instead they are a small family company who work together; father son and cousin and 3 friends. They arrived promptly at 7am and worked in a way that caused minimal disruption to our breakfast and getting the kids out to school. They were very careful moving our furniture and appliances to not scratch our new flooring and covered and masked perfectly. They worked professionally covering imperfections on the walls first then painting, and making sure everything was perfect after they finished. Ivan is a pleasure to work with and we'll certainly use him again. read more

This was one of the best experiences. Professional and very knowledgeable. During the quote, they asked questions about what I was looking for and what was needed to the very detail of every wall and fixture in my home. They provided a reasonable quote quickly and were gracious and flexible when my other vendors impacted the schedule. Super thorough during the final walk through and gave me time to live with the work to see if they missed anything and actually came back to fix it! We moved into our new place, and there was one floor that really needed a paint "freshen up", in addition to the people moving out left a few things screwed into the walls that needed to be removed. I put out a few quote requests thru Yelp for painting crews. The pricing difference was a bit crazy for the same detail (including pictures). Anyway, Ivan was SUPER responsive, asked great questions, and gave me a quote that was very reasonable. He was specific with the patches that needed to be made as well as paint color, furniture being moved, etc. We settled on the details and scheduled the job. He texted me prior to ensure that we were still a "go" the day before (which I appreciated). He also let me know right on time, that he was at the paint store and arrived exactly 15 mins later. They taped/prepped the area, moving furniture, paintings, etc. and got to work. They worked quietly, but quickly and now my room looks amazing! I also appreciated that he accepts Venmo- makes it alot easier for me. I will definitely use them again when we need painting! read more

Ivan and his team were fantastic! Shortly after I called Finish Coat I received a call back from Ivan. I had an estimate within a couple days. Finish Coat was the most accommodating company of all the estimates I received. Never charging more to use multiple colors. Offering to help move furniture, if need be. Ivan literally was just willing to do whatever was needed to get the job done. His crew (5-6 painters) showed up right on time. Then they finished the complete interior of my house, taping then painting ceilings, trim, doors, walls in 2 days. The painters were always attentive to any questions or concerns that i had. A truly professional company and great group of people that know what they are doing. Attention to detail was outstanding. I highly recommend Finish Coat Painting. I will definitely be calling them for my exterior paint job and to paint my cabinets. read more

May 2024. I read the Yahoo reviews of various painting companies in the Peoria, Az. vicinity. I had three companies give me estimates for the paint job on my house. Finish Coat Painting gave me a fair quote and then gave me a Senior's discount of $200.00 when I asked for it. I made modifications to the scope of the work to be performed and added in my R/V gate (metal parts only) and the cost to add it was good. The house was power washed on Thursday and the painting crew arrived and began the painting work on Friday in the early A.M. Ivan, the owner, had met with us a few days prior to show us samples of the paint that he had color matched at Sherwin Williams. It was perfect. On Saturday, early morning, the crew returned and completed the work. I should add that this involved re-taping my patio ceiling drywall as well as painting it. Ivan also repaired a couple small places where the front entrance ceiling had loose tape as well. When the painting was done, the crew cleaned up everything and left me the remaining paint in case I'd ever need to touch up anything. I paid Ivan by check because there is a 3% charge to use a credit card. So Ivan and his brother Victor did a great job and we're very happy with it. They went out of their way to make everything look super and understood all of my concerns and desires to make the house look like new again. Kudos to Finish Coat Painting. I'd recommend them again in a heartbeat. read more

Researched 5 companies and I'm so happy to have found Ivan and his team! From his first visit for the estimate, he was the only company that wore shoe cover bootys and that goes a long way and a great sign of respect. When his entire team showed up to paint, they all had shoe covers on also. It's the little things that told me that we're in good hands. Communication with Ivan was great throughout the process. After the job was done, he made sure his team would come back to do final touch ups until we were satisfied. As far as cost, this company is worth the investment. If you're on the fence of who to go with me, choose Finish Coat! You won't be disappointed i promise you. Check out the before and after pics. read more
