I have stayed at quite a few quality inns in my travels. They're always good. This one seems a bit neglected and was being worked on. But I don't think it has the robust income/budget most locations have. So it's not top tier quality. But still has the standard amenities that make the brand great. Friendly staff, clean room, quiet halls, free breakfast, and a work out room. I was working night shift at the mill and it was quiet during the day. Which is a plus. The room was clean, spacious, and functional. Management was quick to fix a billing error after check out as well. 10/10 I would stay here again read more

The rooms here are decent and they do seem to keep their coffee warm however the guest service & sense of urgency needs improvement. The desk staff seemed to be vaguely knowledgeable of the computer system. The "included breakfast" HAS NO MEAT. I've worked in the industry and even for a Quality Inn I expect more there's a reason they call it hospitality. Live up to that 'quality' label even if it's simple. For example you're given about 5 of the travel size bottles in the room along with your soap so it looks like plenty but two of them are lotion and two are conditioner... only 1 is shampoo therefore most of them go to waste and you're still asking for more shampoo. - Honest Feedback read more

This was a decent hotel. It's close by to a local bar right down the road and is attached to a mexican restaurant, however the place wasn't open the night that my coworkers and I stayed here. The rooms seem to be in a state of upgrade...some of my coworkers had less nice arrangements than me. I had a very large room, clean, well stocked with everything. TV was great and everything was where it should be. I did note that my balcony was so close to the balcony next to me that I could easily step over and make my way across the whole side of the building. I mentioned that to my female co-worker, who then realized that she had a similar balcony, but her door did not have a functional lock. According to her, she tried to call down to the front desk to get a lock bar of some kind, but either wasn't able to get a hold of anyone or was told they didn't have anything to help. I don't know how prone to hysterics she could be, but she didn't ask to change rooms, so it must not have been too big of a concern. This was the most horrible experience I've ever had. I booked it cause it had an "indoor pool" nope sure didn't! Pools outside and seasonal, they do not have a hot tub. My daughter and I checked in and left when about our day, came back around 630 at night, and our door handles and lock are missing and our door is wide, opened no one to be seen, all of our belonging are in this room. I walk up to the front desk after making sure no one was in the room and no one at the front desk... So, after waiting for about five minutes somebody comes walking up and I tell the lady because I'm pretty irate at this point that my door was wide open with all our stuff in there. I tell her the lock and handle is missing, she tells me that they are changing locks and shouldn't have went into our room. The company changing the locks left at 3:00 and hasn't been back. The guy left for the night and left my door wide open and all the Hardwear is missing. She ended up moving us rooms, we move upstairs and there is people in the room next to us partying. Loud as all could be, banging around, our floor was shaking. The bed skirt had white substance all over it, there was holes in the walls, mold in the shower. So the next morning I go down and talk to the manager, he tells me there's nothing he can do about it, wouldn't refund my money when I checked out early, said I had to contact the company I booked with... Would even acknowledge the wrong in the situation, said that if I hadn't of checked in early than it wouldn't have happened. I told him that this is ridiculous and unacceptable. I wasn't going to stay another night, I checked out and left. This whole experience is unacceptable and I deserve a refund! read more

This place was just awful. There are numerous signs posted that the hotel is under staffed (that's not really a justification). I changed rooms and both rooms were not clean but what's the point after that. I mean really not clean- mold, mildew (black and red stuff in every crevice of the bathroom), tables still have grease on them from the last guest, floors are stained everywhere. The window screens are ripped so you can't safely open the window for ventilation because someone could break and enter easily. There are no nearby retail services and the hotel doesn't sell any basic items, the minimal expectation of a vending machine and even that doesn't work right. The staff who are there clearly could care less. This place should be closed until they can update basic maintenance and apparently hire staff. Until this place gets renovated, go anywhere else. read more

I am writing this review to warn people that Choice Hotels seems to have a policy to charge people exorbitant fees after your stay. I've had 2 horrible experiences 1 in Spokane Valley WA., and just recently in Umatilla OR. In both cases we were charged after the fact for our service animals, stating damage. In both cases the damage was unfounded. The dogs were never out of our site and when we did leave they were kenneled. In either case photos nor proof could be given. Just extra charges after check out. I have tried to contact Choice Hotels in both cases and was told there is nothing they could do because the Hotels are owed by the local management. Not sure how that can be true when operating under the Choice Hotels label. Someone from Choice Hotels must be overseeing the properties under their management. The Managers at both properties were rude and unwilling reduce the charges. In Umatilla the Manger even went as far to say that he didn't believe they were service animals and wanted to know our disabilities, which is a violation oh HIPPA laws. People's disabilities are not always obvious on the outside. Animals are trained to care for many types of disabilities. Just because it wasn't obvious to this person doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Not to mention it's unlawful for him to ask or question it. I really feel like my civil rights have been violated and for this, I will never be staying at another Choice Hotel ever again. The only reason this review got a 1 star is because it would allow me to leave none! read more

Ok- it's a budget hotel off the beaten path (as a result exceptionally quiet). I'm basing four stars on the fact it's a budget hotel- at $75 a night- I got what I paid for. My room was very clean, the hotel staff was very nice and competent. WiFi as expected, nothing fancy- steer clear of the restaurant attached to it- god awful! If interested in a comfortable quiet no frills night at a great price then I recommend. But if looking for a Marriott type experience- go elsewhere. read more

This is just what I want when I'm on a road trip. The double queen room had plenty of space. The room was clean and the price was right ($80) with breakfast included. If you are cruising I-84 the hotel is 12 miles up I-82. It's a bit out of the way but at least it's all freeway. I gave it 4 stars because I had to detour from my route but that's not their fault. The hot breakfast has eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, fruit, bagels, toast, yogurt, coffee and juice. It's above average for this type of hotel. I enjoyed it. read more

Not a good place to stay at all, myself and my fiancé checked in here and two hours into our stay a staff member came to our room and accused us of smoking marijauna in our room, and was extremely rude and loud in doing so. We stay at a lot of hotels/motels and always follow their policies. This individual should not be employed at a place where customer service is an important part of the job. He literally tried to barge into our room to try to smell inside and made a huge scene outside our room and continued to do so the rest of the night. Customer service is awful, was trying to make reservation for their Kennewick location, but their website made the reservation here instead. When I contacted them about the mistake that occurred, they agreed that they would cancel that reservation, set me up with the correct one. I was informed that i would not be charged for the cancelled reservation since this was their mistake. But when i get my credit card statement i was charged for both reservations, and when i contacted them they refuse to refund me for the non used reservation. Disgusting. Dirty. Mattresses feel like they've been slept in for at least 20 years. Sliding back door latch is broken. Be gone if there was anywhere else in town with openings!!! Amazing prices, beautiful room with 2 queen beds, great pool in a quiet area. It was the perfect stop on our way home from Idaho! They even have a nice hot breakfast included in their amazing prices. Plus, the service was over and beyond what we have experienced at other hotels. As we were putting our suitcases in our car, one of the sweet girls that worked there ran out front with our phone charger that we had left plugged in our room. We had already checked out so that is a reflection of the kind of people they have working there. TRUSTWORTHY and OUTSTANDING! Watch your charges at this place, we have been staying there a couple nights a week for the last two weeks while working in the area. Last week we get charged $20 to much. Then rather then just refund the difference they charged us a second time and we had to wait for days for there error to end up back in our account. Then today we get double charged, when I ask the girl at the counter for a refund receipt she calls her boss who won't do anything other then assure me it would be refunded. When I insist on a receipt and suggest he come down and take care of it himself if he can't tell his staff how to do it he tells me we just need to leave and if we don't he will call the cops! No raised voice till he threatens to call the cops but he tells the cops I was belligerent and threatening! So now we have two rooms charged on our card and checked into the travel lodge in Hermiston! read more

I began staying here consistently when my husband was transferred to TRCI in Umatilla. They had recently updated their rooms and offered and "prison rate". Today I checked in and was informed that they are no longer offering a lower rate for those of us who stay frequently during the month if we aren't staying for more than one night at a time. I will not be staying here past tonight and will be recommending those of us who do come to visit to NOT stay here any further. read more

The good: The 2-queen room was spacious and clean. The water pressure was good. The wifi was excellent. The breakfast was good enough, and since it's included in the price, I give it a thumbs up. Front-desk staff was helpful and friendly. Pet friendly, with plenty of places to walk your dog all around the hotel. The conference facilities were just fine. The not-so-good: The TV remote was missing. The fridge did not work. No microwave in our room. Climate control was kinda lame; I couldn't get real heat or AC. We received a group rate, since we were here for an event, but were we to have paid the standard rate, I probably would have given two stars. read more
