Completely agree with Pete M's review on April 29th…read more We were very pleased with our overnight stay at this hotel. It felt as if we were staying at an upscale hotel, not an 'Express' hotel. Check in was quick. The lobby amenities were explained to us. Everything about the room was very nice. There is a microwave and a very large refrigerator in the room. Room temperature was easy to regulate. Beautiful large screen TV with good reception. We were very impressed with the complimentary hot breakfast. Instead of the common 'make your own Belgium waffles', there was a machine that, with the touch of one button, automatically made you two pancakes. The pancakes tasted great and there was no mess like you often see with those Belgium waffle makes. How about this list of the other items that I can remember were offered: egg omelet, biscuits, gravy, turkey sausage, cinnamon rolls, cereals, apples, bananas, blueberry muffins, chocolate muffins, hard boiled eggs, bagels and other breads for toast. Lots of beverage options also including orange juice, hot chocolate, coffee. If we come back to Sidney, we will stay at this hotel again

There was a crazy thunderstorm that hit just before I arrived- and I was soaking wet. The process went fast, and I was able to get an upgraded room with a later checkout- which I absolutely needed. At checkout, Paula and Robin were at the front desk- and I was thankful to be able to get a chance to change before leaving the hotel for my flight to my next meeting. I will be back visiting customers, and I'll be staying here next visit! Thanks to the team here for a great stay.

The whole place is not just tired, it's exhausted. The air con and ice machines are INSANELY loud, like LOUD. As the other reviews mention, the bathrooms are beyond grotty. There was staining in the tub and plenty of mold. I wouldn't stay here again despite the really kind staff.

Especially Kevin. When I first started checking in, he did so while moonlighting as a painter, and handy man. I thought he owned the franchise because he has always been warm, friendly and committed to this property and me as a customer. When I mentioned that, he corrected me ensuring that "he is not an owner" which surprised me because I have only been treated as well by owners of franchises. I could only reply "Then they are very lucky to have you!". Thank you Motel 6 Sidney OH owners and Kevin for about 10 years of "keeping a light on for me" and providing a comfortable, clean, safe and economical place to sleep.

Cheap is the name of the game here and it doesn't even begin to describe this place! There's rust in every drain, the bedding had dirt in it, they never answer their phones, the side door from the parking lot to the hallway doesn't latch let alone lock! Stay away! At ALL costs!
