I would give zero stars if I could. I can't believe anyone would stay here, I would rather sleep in my car. It looks bad from the outside, and it's worse on the inside. The place needs to be razed. The staff was bored and indifferent, and seemed surprised when, an hour after we checked in, I told them we were checking out. Really, your can't see it? The place was nice decades ago, but it's old and tired and dirty. Room 103 was filthy. It reeked of bleach, the furniture was pulled out from the wall (chasing cockroaches?), the lampshades were askew and room looked tired and sad. We tried to convince ourselves it would be okay for one night, and the carpet did appear to be newer. Alas, we had no luck at that as the grossness was overwhelming. I started wheezing, the windows don't' open, and I noticed mildew AND a public hair on the lampshade next to the bed. The front of the refrigerator was discolored by something, the inside was dirty, the microwave and phone filthy. Peeling paint, accumulated dirt, urine around the base of the toilet, and when I pulled the covers back to take a look-see, there was a long brown hair on the sheet. That's it, we were out of there. The carpet in the hallway is dirty and coming apart. Whoever owns this hotel is horrible, as why would anyone subject unsuspecting people to this disgusting mess? They wanted $138 from us to spend a night in filth. We hightailed it over to Cranberry and got a beautiful room at the Town Place Suites for the same price! read more
