The motel is rated as a 2-star, that seems accurate. It advertises that it is pet friendly. Pets are allowed, but be aware that an additional fee per day is added to your daily rate. The bathroom had a light around the mirror that was malfunctioning and it was hard to be in the bathroom without the flashing bulb irritating your eyes. I check out and go to Candlewood Suites Hotel in Chattanooga. It seems like a 5-star hotel. It is pet friendly and there is no additional fee added for pets, so I had a better nightly rate at this exceptional hotel. It was clean, modern and excellent in every way. The lady at the front desk when we arrived was the only thing good about this place. Priceline reviews were way better for this joint and I should have checked out yelp. The beds are comfortable enough. BUT I literally did not want to use the restroom at all. The toilet seat is stained up and looks like someone had an explosive accident or something. The shower is pretty gross. No hair dryer in the room. When we called the front desk to ask for one, they said they don't have any extras. You mean to tell me there isn't one single room unoccupied that you could take one from? The refrigerator smells like someone has covered up a murder with the insane amount of cleaning product smell in there.... It's unusable unless you want your food to taste like bleach. Additionally, this is supposedly non smoking but one of my neighbors is most definitely smoking the devils lettuce. I regret that my husband already booked and paid for 3 nights without thoroughly looking into reviews. Now my family is stuck. read more

I work in construction roofing cross country a crew of 5. We got a 2 rooms 2 beds for Monday and Tuesday. There was missing bed sheets, blankets and no shower curtain when walked into my room. I walk out my room to go get bed sheets and give my coworkers the truck keys. The next day after we checked out. My boss called saying that the hotel accused me of stealing bed comforters & shower curtain. I walked out of my room in my boxers when I went go ask for bed sheets and give my coworker the truck keys. So the woman at the front desk made an assumption I was stealing. This is the worst hotel experience ever. The staff had an awful odor, were rude and unprofessional. I have grounds I've been off the schedule ever since. I've filed a complaint and police report. We booked for 3 nights for a softball tournament. More than half our team left. The bed was dirty, which I didn't even realize until the second night (we got in at midnight from a 10 hour drive). Left early the next morning, come back after softball to find a cockroach. That is when we requested a refund. The hotel would only refund 2 nights. I requested a refund for the first night, or my cleaning bill be paid since I would not take our suitcases in our house. The owner's reply was you stayed the first night with your "do not disturb" sign on the door, and it was a stink bug. I have video (won't let me attach) and pictures of the dead roach that I sent her. The third shift that refunded the 2 nights also confirmed it was a cockroach. read more

THE WORST hotel I've ever stayed at! Unless mold and mildew are your "thing". Air conditioner emitted blasts of moldy air. Door had about a half inch of space between it and frame--we were awakened at 4 am by someone in hall. Staff not around--3 people waiting for 10 minutes to check out. Dark and dank--low price was NOT worth it. Spent whole night worrying about legionnaires disease. read more

Me and my parents went on a vacation a few months ago and we went to this hotel for the night, it was the absolute worst night I ever had. The rooms smelt like bleach and clorox, there were roaches all in the bathroom, and I just could not sleep on the rock solid beds that they had. My wife and I stayed here on our way back from Florida. We were very disappointed in the rooms. Our first room had a gaping hole in the bathroom. I showed the front desk a picture of it and they had no idea it was there even though the floor showed no signs of the ceiling falling. I really don't think a guest cleaned that up. This hotel in particular was way below par among hotels my family and I have been too . This hotel started off our stay rocky when they sent us to a "non-smoking room" when it clearly was a smoking room as it smelled like smoke and had burned holes for a cigarette on couch cushions, in our room we switched with, it wasn't better as it wasn't clean (we found a very large night gown in the room and trash cans were not kept up ) , only two towels for a bathroom ? I've seen more supplied than that in other hotels, a limit of volume and extremely long time to change channels (not joking) on TV ? Really ? This hotel was a joke compared to other Quality Inn places for sure . We as a family WILL NOT be coming back for sure and suggest others to find another place to go . If we could have we would have left but most places nearby were booked full if I remember were full . I would admit the only positive thing was staff was sorta friendly - they allowed us to go to a different room and checked if we were ok with new room . read more

Apparently the pool is not for kids! Owner was extremely rude! He immediately walks out within the first five minutes of our kids being in the pool. "Children in the pool are a problem because the might use the bathroom in the pool". His attitude and approach actually scared our children! Completely ridiculous! Stayed here on a business trip. The room was clean, and check in was easy. Our main concern was the fact there was no smoke detector in the room. There was a hole for it and wires that were capped but no detector. Check out the lady covered her cell phone long enough to take our room keys and then got back on the phone. Unfortunately, I would NOT recommend this Inn. The entry into the parking lot is poorly marked and is a sharp turn up hill; the pavement there is torn up - needs resurfacing. Our room was NOT cleaned between the two days we stayed there, despite the fact that we were gone all afternoon, so staff had plenty of time to clean; later, - we had to ask for the towels & in room coffee for the second day. The coffee was terrible by the way. The microwave in the room was broken- we had to ask for a replacement. The so -called continental breakfast had tasteless eggs and dried up biscuits. The $99 per night was ridiculous vis-a-vis the miserable experience we had there. read more

The room itself was adequate. No major issues, bed was comfortable. However, we were asleep when housekeeping started knocking on the door and tried to come in! I had to start yelling"get out" for her to leave. I called the front desk and they apologized and stated" I'll tell them to stop". It sounded very much like this is a common occurrence here. I picked this place because it was convenient to two places I need to be, and because it didn't show up on the Bedbug Registry. Those and one really nice desk clerk were the only good things about it. Let's see ... where to start? The entire place smelled like smoke. My non-smoking room just smelled less like smoke than the hallway. The furniture was literally falling apart, though amazingly, the bed was pretty comfortable. Of all the lights in the room, only two came on. On the desk lamp, which did not come on, the switch was literally falling out of the lamp. I did a housekeeping test by leaving my socks under the covers and a crushed Raisin Bran flake on the floor, and they passed, I guess you would say. The socks were pulled out and thrown on the floor, and the crushed fake had been vacuumed up. However, there was a dirty towel and multiple dust bunnies behind the bed, which I found when I had to pull the bed out to plug in my CPAP. One morning housekeeping knocked on the door and I said I would be leaving in about a half hour. She said OK but she never came back. That night the room was just like I left it. The breakfast was so bad that the desk clerk suggested the horrible eggs (the kind that come cooked in a sheet and they chop them up) would be tastier if I put the sausage gravy on them. The gravy was intended for the dried-up biscuits and was fairly tasty even though the surface was completely congealed, and it did improve the fake eggs. Yet because it was convenient, I stayed three nights. Then it turned out that I needed to stay one more night. That morning the proprietor happened to be working there. I later found out he has bought up a lot of cheap motels in the area and they are all ratholes. My client had put the room on her credit card, and she was going to have to come by to run it again. She was tied up in an appointment and couldn't come right then. The proprietor was extremely rude and argumentative, demanding that she be there by 11 with her card OR ELSE. When I tried to work out an agreeable way of solving this problem, he declared that *I* was being argumentative and that he would not extend the say, and I should go get my stuff and GET OUT. I have never been treated so rudely at any hotel in a long life of traveling on business. So the bottom line is DO NOT STAY HERE, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! I moved to the Holiday Inn Express across the street, which was much more expensive but very nice and congenial. read more
