I work in construction roofing cross country a crew of 5. We got a 2 rooms 2 beds for Monday and Tuesday. There was missing bed sheets, blankets and no shower curtain when walked into my room. I walk out my room to go get bed sheets and give my coworkers the truck keys. The next day after we checked out. My boss called saying that the hotel accused me of stealing bed comforters & shower curtain. I walked out of my room in my boxers when I went go ask for bed sheets and give my coworker the truck keys. So the woman at the front desk made an assumption I was stealing. This is the worst hotel experience ever. The staff had an awful odor, were rude and unprofessional. I have grounds I've been off the schedule ever since. I've filed a complaint and police report. For defamation of character, loss wages, pain and suffering furthermore.

We booked for 3 nights for a softball tournament. More than half our team left. The bed was dirty, which I didn't even realize until the second night (we got in at midnight from a 10 hour drive). Left early the next morning, come back after softball to find a cockroach. That is when we requested a refund. The hotel would only refund 2 nights. I requested a refund for the first night, or my cleaning bill be paid since I would not take our suitcases in our house. The owner's reply was you stayed the first night with your "do not disturb" sign on the door, and it was a stink bug. I have video (won't let me attach) and pictures of the dead roach that I sent her. The third shift that refunded the 2 nights also confirmed it was a cockroach.

DO NOT STAY HERE! IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD. Let the pictures speak for themselves. Only "nice" things about the room is it had a tv and heated bathroom mirror. Room smelled "wet" like the ac or something was straight up harboring mold. Save your $90 and go somewhere else. This franchise owner/manager is doing a piss poor job. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Walked into the room and there was no desk lamp, turned on the light in the bathroom and cut my finger on a screw that somehow bent out of shape. Air conditioner was on and the room was freezing, tried to adjust the thermostat and it was broken. The window shade was tattered and would not go down all the way. Did I mention the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in about a decade. The floor needed a good washing. It was disgusting. Went to the front desk, to request a different room. Guy gave me attitude. Was insisting, for one, that I didn't know how to set a thermostat. Finally got another room. Filthy. The bathroom sink looked like it wasn't cleaned in a month, the toilet seat was loose, the roll of toilet paper was on the vanity. There was a sticky substance on the nightstand and desk. Survived night one. The next day we were locked out, had to go to the front desk to resolve the problem. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Would give it zero stars if I could.

This franchise is in the Hilton chain of hotels and are known for being moderately priced and having limited food and drink choices. It is right off the hwy 153 in Hixson. It is an older hotel with 3 floors and a covered entrance. The structure seems to be well maintained and the grounds seem clean. Check-in was convenient and easy. The staff was pleasant and friendly. I arrived early and they were nice enough to check, find and allow me to check in early. There is a breakfast area as you enter the hotel across from the check-in desk. It has a long high table in the center of the room and booths with tables along the edge of the room. The room that I checked into was a clean and functional single room with a bathroom to the left as you enter. The space was nice with a closet and bathroom serviced by the same barn door. There is a table for your office work. The TV is on top of a table that has a a microwave and refrigerator underneath and a suitcase holding desk on the other side. There is a couch and a small table. The Air conditioner is a standard lower window unit that is controlled by the wall thermostat. The bathroom was very nice and functional. Overall, for the price, location, convenience and friendly staff, this is a good place to stay in the Hixson area.

The outside looks nice and there is handicapped parking ahead as you enter the parking area. We booked online and were greeted by the clerk at the sign in desk on the right. We were checked in quickly and got to our room in no more than 10 minutes. The room was large and appeared clean. The flooring is vinyl plank which is much cleaner than carpeting. Art is tasteful. The hot breakfast is scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fried potatoes, and waffles. The cold breakfast is cereal, yogurt, and pastry. All was decent and plentiful and made in smaller batches so nothing appeared dried out. Staff was generally courteous and helpful as needed. One annoyance was employees yelling greetings down the hallway at 7:30am on a Saturday. Not a great way to be woken and employees should know better. The property is older but has been remodeled. Overall appearance is nice, but there are definitely reminders the property has been around awhile. The surround of the shower/ tub combo was missing sealer at the corners. The walls showed evidence of water damage that was painted over. There is an unexplainable gap between the canopy to park under while you check in and the entrance meaning you'll get rained on just before the entrance door. Still, it was a nice stay and a convenient location.

The property feels neglected, with peeling wallpaper, chipped paint, and floors pulling away from the walls. Staff seemed unaware or unconcerned about recurring problems, including police activity one night and an employee knocking on our door for 30 minutes early in the morning. Sadly, this hotel isn't what it used to be, and we'll likely stay elsewhere next time.

The bathroom has a stand alone tub and shower. The towels were thick and fluffy! But the best thing about that room is that it's a corner room so you have windows on 2 sides that overlook the TN River. Gorgeous!! The first floor of the house is beautiful too. They offer free water, soda and ice all day. There were a few dining rooms and it seems a shame not to be seated there for breakfasts. But vouchers were provided for Rembrandts, which is about 150 yards away. We enjoyed sitting outdoors at Rembrandt's under the trellis (trying not to feed the finches that beg). Take a lovely little walk through alleyways, catch a glimpse of bakers doing pastry magic. Admire outdoor sculptures sprinkled throughout. Go towards the Bocce court and find more sculptures there as you admire the river view. Great location. Walk to Hunter Museum. Walk to the Walnut pedestrian bridge and watch the sunset.
