Clean sink & counter

We actually reserved a room here by mistake, thinking it was another hotel. By the time we arrived and figured it out, we were too tired to find another hotel. The outside appears a little sketchy, but the front desk person was very nice and accommodating. We had an accessible room that was amazing. This was definitely a case of things looking better on the inside than they appear on the outside. The room was spacious and spotless. The bed was comfortable. The walk-in shower was the best feature! It was even better than the one that I had at home and the water was hot. It is a motel with outside doors that I normally avoid. Here, I was able to park directly in front of my room and did feel safe. The parking lot was very well lit and quiet. The breakfast was typical of a hotel continental breakfast such as eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, pastries, make your own waffles, and ceresl. The coffee, tho, was exceptional. The coffee machine offered a variety of flavors. It was a restful night.

Overall looks nice in presentation and has much lighting and cameras to know that your vehicles are safe No smoking rooms available They do allow dogs They have an informative binder of local eatery's With room amenities such as refrigerator, microwave, iron and board, tv and more then 10 channels, a coffee maker, free breakfast, Our chairs upholstery wasn't to satisfactory The bathtub and plunger tht drains sink was non operational Much dust on fixtures and in a/c as well as it sounds like the compressors isn't working properly but not noticeable to those who haven't worked hotel Floor wasn't mopped so could potentially transmit hep or other diseases All surfaces aside from floor were wiped dwn (drawer handles have corrosion and lamp which could spread yellow fever) Also trim on door needs paint overall good stay was comfortable

This pic has not been update cause the exterior color is a blue/teal color

If I could give this place a Zero stars I would, but I guess I will have to settle for 1 Star. This is the worst Quality Inn in Forrest City, Arkansas that we have stayed in while traveling cross country, they charged me $130.00 for a 1 night stay. It says under New Management, I would say they need to close it down and make major renovations. Don't let the exterior fool you like it did us. There is no pool or jacuzzi they took out the pool and made a basketball court & laundry room that doesn't even have laundry detergents you can purchase to do your laundry. Also, the first room 114 they assigned us, the door was dragging & the phone did not work at all. The door needed to be replaced. They recommended The Old Sawmill, said the food was great, they lied. Don't waste you time or money eating there. Their breakfast was just sad there was sausage and gravy but no eggs. We just checked out and went across the street to the Waffle House for a really good breakfast. So, if you for a good hotel to stay kept on driving past this one, it's not worth the money we paid to stay there.

Boarded up behind the toilet

Quality of the outside is not at all what you will find inside! Our non smoking room reeked of cigarettes due to the permanent resident who lived next door. Room was dirty, holes in the walls, boarded up behind the toilet, bathroom door broken, spiders, just gross. I noticed the front desk lady who wasn't the least bit surprised by my photos. She gave me an email to contact management but assured me I wouldn't not hear back which is exactly what happened. Biggest waste if $160 I have stayed at far better for 1/3 of the price. Beware!

All sorts of bodily fluids seen on the "clean" sheets

I would not recommend. Sheets were full with bodily fluid stains. It does not appear that the sheets were cleaned at all.

Bedbug bites

We chose this place because it was a highest rated of all the 2 star hotels in the town. On the good side, the receptionist was friendly and polite. Breakfast was typically, with scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes etc. On the bad side, when I woke up in the morning, I had 6 very itchy bites on my back: bed bug bites. Managment was apologetic. Of course even a Ritz could have a person who had bed bugs sleep in their bed and pass it on to the next guest. I guess the issue is by selecting a less expensive motel, I increased the probability that the last guest who slept in the bed had bed bugs. The general décor was substandard. The caulking in bathroom had large cracks. There is a dead mosquito embedded in the paint in the bathroom. The bathroom door handle was coated with spattered paint. While smoking was prohibited in the rooms, the balcony and stairs reeked of smoke. All in all I wish I had paid $30 more for a more upscale chain (itch, itch). They should up their cleaning and maintenance efforts.

Usually, when you're on the road and don't have reservations, you end up stopping and staying in hotels that are less than ideal. This Comfort Inn was thankfully nothing like that! We were surprised to find a full parking lot and lucky to get a room. Our biggest need was a hotel that was pet friendly, but not too noisy where our girl would bark throughout the night. I have no idea how a full hotel can be so quiet, but our dog didn't bark once. Our room was very spacious and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast exceeded expectations for a hotel like this. We came down for breakfast around an hour before it ended and there was still a lot of food. The spread included cheese omelets, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and waffles. They even have a specialty coffee maker where you can get a latte or cappuccino among other things. It was so good! If we ever find ourselves on the road in this area again, this hotel would be our first choice for a stop!

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel…read moreexperiences I have ever had. We were in town for a funeral, already exhausted from driving, and the last thing we expected was to have to deal with the level of cleanliness--or lack thereof--that we encountered. As soon as we checked in, we did our usual quick inspection of the room. We understand that a hotel room will never be as clean as our own home, but basic cleanliness and sanitation should still be a standard. Unfortunately, this room was far from that. The shower appeared as though it had not been properly cleaned in weeks. There was a dark, black ring around the shower floor and a large clump of hair left on the shower rail, as if someone had recently washed their hair and simply left it behind. There were also visible stains on the supposedly clean towels. The surfaces looked as though they had received a very quick wipe-down, while dust was still clearly visible throughout the remaining of these surfaces. There were even handprints on the headboard. At that point, we were so disgusted that we were uncomfortable even pulling back the sheets. We immediately went to the front desk to address our concerns and requested either a different room or for someone to come clean the bathroom. The front desk employee told us that there was no one available to clean the room but offered to move us to another room. When we arrived at the replacement room, the door was completely open and the room was dark. We cautiously entered, but unfortunately, the room was significantly smaller than the one we had paid for and still dirty. Since we are a family of four and had specifically paid for the largest room, we decided that moving was not a reasonable option and returned to our original room. I took pictures of the condition of the room and showed them to the front desk employee. Even she appeared disgusted by what she saw and said she could come upstairs and clean the shower. Two employees came to the room with spray bottles to address the shower. However, they never even turned on the water. They sprayed the shower a few times and picked up the clump of hair, but the shower was not actually cleaned or scrubbed. At that point, we were exhausted, frustrated, and in town for a funeral. Rather than complaining, we simply went to Walmart, purchased our own cleaning supplies, and cleaned the bathroom ourselves. We should never have been put in a position where we had to purchase cleaning supplies and clean a hotel bathroom that we had already paid to stay in. This experience was completely unacceptable. Basic cleanliness is not an unreasonable expectation--it is the bare minimum when paying to stay at a hotel. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone. More importantly, this experience has completely changed my opinion of the Comfort Suites brand, and I personally will not be staying at another Comfort Suites in the future. I sincerely hope management takes this complaint seriously because the condition of this room and the response from staff fell far below what any paying guest should have to accept.

We felt grateful and glad that we chose this hotel as it was one of the safest places we've stayed in so far. Located off I-40, it was both convenient and easily accessible. We saw so many cars and trucks with trailers (moving just like us) parked next to us which made us feel even more safer. Our room was clean and just what we needed. Staff were courteous and the hotel was in great condition. There were renovations going on but that didn't cause any inconvenience while entering/exiting or during parking. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for both short & long term stays.

Second the pillow cases and some towels were stained. The pillow cases looked as if someone had slept on them or they forgot to take them out of the dryer. They were very wrinkled! The men's bathroom in the main area was nasty and all clogged up. Although the hotel is very quiet from outside noise but don't try to sleep in because the maids are busy slamming doors left and right, over and over. They need rubber stoppers to put in the door. Also the bathroom door the handle was jacked so it was hard to get it to even close. On another note tho the maids were very nice... so now I am torn

He cares about his guests and is very friendly. i enjoyed chatting with him upon arrival & check out. This hotel is super close to a ton of restaurants and gas stations and it the most reasonably priced hotel within miles.. and ive done tons of research. Forrest City is also populated well with police presence(the police station is close and the officers and ther families frequent the local restaurants) making me feel super safe in an unknown(to me) city. It is tucked away in a corner of the end of a street and both times we have stayed, we have felt safe and it's nice and quiet. All of the people in this city are also very friendly. The beds are super comfortable and that is importsnt to me. AC cools perfectly and rooms are always perfectly clean. The building is 1960s style with each room having an outside window and door. No inside hallway. So it must be at least 50 years old and in need of a complete remodel or tear down and replace. Room furniture is not that old so the rooms must have been redecorated more recently. My room had a microwave, frig, and flat TV. This is the 3rd hotel this trip where the TV Controller didn't work. That makes 3 out of 5 so far. Has the tech level of TV controllers become to complicated for an average hotel worker? Its beginning to appear to be the situation I'm dealing with. This one would change channels, but you had to turn the TV on and off using an obscure button on the back of the TV. No on/off function on the remote. Its a programming the remote tech problem too complicated for the housekeeping staff. Its also a problem of the TV makers because they are not user friendly. Many average people can't operate them. The hotel industry needs TV tech training for its staff, and since they buy a lot of TVs the hotel industry should demand easier to use controls. The bathtub faucets in this room do not shut off entirely. A constant and NOISY sound of water running down the drain is only partly blocked by closing the bathroom door. It also wastes hundreds of gallons of water per day. The price of water would rapidly pay for a plumber to fix it. This tub/shower has two OLD separate hot and cold faucets that nobody has installed in a hotel in 50 years. No wonder they no longer work. It also has no bidet for personal cleanliness, nor a urinal for men to pee standing up. The heat in my room worked but was quite noisy. The smoke detector in my room had a small round hole that some on-line sources say may be a video monitor. It may be something else. The bed was OK. Several pillows were provided but they were all shaped like marshmallows. Round and puffy, too thick for my neck. Just right for watching TV if you could figure out how to turn it on. Not good for sleeping. A couple of thinner pillows instead of all thick pillows would have provided variety for guests to choose from. This hotel was close to I-40 and had easy access. It has a Mexican style restaurant attached. There is plenty of convenient parking right outside of the rooms. An old dirty feeling guest laundry and vending area was available, and a small exercise room. The laundry machines were in use, perhaps by the traveling work crews who's trucks are parked in the lot. The ice machine in the vending are had sufficient ice. The price was cheap. I pretty much got what I paid for. Next time maybe I'll stop somewhere else. This hotel was barefoot friendly.

I went to the office to get a new room and this time somebody else came out of the adjoining apartment. The gentleman that came out asked me how the bed got dirty. I told him I didn't know as I had just checked in. He said he didn't know who messed up. I said I just arrived here I haven't even had time to mess up the bed. He then said to me that he didn't know who messed up the bed, maybe it was me, maybe it was somebody else, how could he know? Talk about gaslighting? At this point, my level of frustration was very high. He finally offered me another room. I went to the new room and that bed was not a cleaned room, at least not the kind that I am accustomed to! The room (like the other) stunk of cigarette smoke and body odor. I had to wash all of the clothes that I had on and wash my hair because everything stunk from the room. I had tried laying on top of the blankets when I first went in, but it just stunk so badly I just couldn't. At that point it was about 1 o'clock in the morning, and I just went to sleep in my car. I had a pet with me that I'd left in the room when I went to the car I tried to nap for a short time, before going in getting my animal and getting in the car and driving to a rest, stop down the road to sleep. In hindsight I think that this hotel is one of illegal commerce such as drugs and or sex. Unless that's your trade, I do not recommend this place at all. I couldn't wait to check into the next hotel room early to shower, wash my clothes and get into a CLEAN bed.
