Absolutely the worst place we have Ever stayed. Cut toenails all over carpet. There were towels hanging up in bathroom like someone had used them one was damp, went down to ask for more coffee it took 4 times of ringing the bell before she came out of a back room and said What? Nothin else just what like I was disturbing her....I asked for coffee rather than take the 4 steps to get some she groweled next time I go in that room I'll get you some so I said ok. 30 mins later still no coffee this bitch was rude when we checked in as well! This woman has no business working with the public. .. I would rather sleep on the ground then put up with that crazy bitch another second. I will be making it known to management. read more

Hotel itself is very ran down! Everything needs revamped! The room we stayed in is ok but not worth 140 a night. It feels gross when you walk in. First impression was when we walked in the back door the lock didn't work, no need for key card, followed by a puddle of water on the floor from the ice machine with a discusting wet towel that looked like black mold central. the door to the pool room was two tone and gross looking. The back door's lock was disconnected so there was no security. The lock to the room door was stuck and took employee to let us in. The toilet was running and would not flush. There was mold in the tub. Walls had stain and drips. We tried to fix toilet before leaving for our dinner, we told the desk. "Maintenance" was in our room while we were out and turned off water to toilet. We used ice bucket to flush. Again key for door did not work and we had to hunt down elusive desk person who had locked herself out of desk area and had to climb over desk. Hot tub had disgusting slime on top so we passed. Cord missing from hair dryer. On the positive, staff was polite -- not helpful -- but nice. Breakfast was good and well stocked. We'll go elsewhere for future visits. read more

DO NOT STAY AT 15150 BRIGHTON RD QUALITY INN First, the new lady lied to my fiancé over the phone saying they allowed dogs. I get there to check in WITH MY DOG and she says nothing about the 5 signs that say "no pets allowed"... Manager Hope comes out says no dogs but we then agreed on me paying an extra $50 for the stay. I was bummed but still appreciated the gesture. We planned on staying 3 night until we saw BEDBUGS. It was late around 12am when we noticed the first bedbug. Before killing it we took a video of the BEDBUG AND ROOM. We shook out our belongings and put them in the car and said we were going to speak with someone about it in the morning. We wake up to find another BEDBUG in bed with us. My fiancé talked to an Employee around 6am. Employee said that he thought they had gotten rid of all the BEDBUGS. I went to the front desk to spray our belongings down with disinfectant spray. I talked to TONY at checkout who said we would be getting a full refund. Tony then said to call and talk to Hope the "Manager" if I had any issues. The next day, no refund so I called and Hope answered with the nastiest attitude. She's lying about our stay and says we don't have proof of anything when we do. Says no previous customers have complained about bedbugs and more bs when the young male employee already told us it was a problem before. Then tried to blame our dog for bringing in bedbugs????? Anyway, the place is dirty! Don't waste your time and money. read more

Let me start off by saying this place is a dump. Not one bed is soft or comfortable the pillows are lumpy and feel like stones. The curtains have boogers and blood ( no joke) on them. The floors have cigarette holes next to the window. The chair in the corner has some kind of gross stain on it. The arm rest of the chair is stained and black. This is just gross. $75 a night. And to top it off every time I left the room to go do something I would half to go get a new key because it would stop letting me in the hotel room. I would ring the bell at the front window and nobody would come help me. I had to have a maid let me in the room twice. I will never stay at a uality inn again. This hotel is filthy dirty and needs some serious cleaning attention. Priceline listed it as a 3 star but it is a 0 star. Location is Quality Inn on Brighton Rd. Stairs, elevator, rooms and front desk area need deep cleaning. Ice machine and hot water in breakfast area does not work. No internet. Hotel is being painted and room smelled like paint all night. Don't stay here! It's between two fast food joints in a somewhat dicey area off the freeway. Took awhile even to find it, because it had no sign facing the street (as if they were ashamed to advertise it). Strange characters lurking all around, and rear door of the motel was askew and WOULD NOT SHUT, so just anyone could wander in. Room was run down and not clean; even the toilet seat was losing its paint. But the worst thing: there was a little sign in my room that said, "This Hotel is 100% Smoke Free." The description on this Yelp page likewise says that the hotel is smokefree. But it's a lie. Starting at about 8 at night, thick, scented smoke started seeping in under the door that could be opened to connect the room to the one next to it. Not only unhealthy but I'm allergic. Called the front desk and they REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING! Parking lot was practically empty, so there were obviously rooms available to transfer me to, but they refused. Cracked a window and it barely helped because there was so much smoke. Had a miserable night. Got up in the morning and they were OUT OF COFFEE (except for a cold airpot of the foulest decaf I have ever tasted). They knew they were out the previous night, but couldn't even go a short distance to a nearby store (there is a Big Lots close by) to get some! Also out of hard boiled eggs, yogurt, waffle maker batter. And to think I paid them $90 for this horror! Asking Choice Hotels for my money back because they LIED about the hotel being nonsmoking and they couldn't even give me a decent room or a decent breakfast. Can't recommend staying at any of this company's motels. read more

Can't say one bad thing. The room wasn't dirty or smelly. It was perfect for the 4 of us. We were there for the cup and we weren't bugged at all. The staff was friendly, more than any hotel I've been go in my home town. The free breakfast every morning was good. Make your own waffles and they were delicious! Stayed here 1 night as there was a storm coming in and roads were to be very dangerous and we had to be somewhere very early the next morning. Upon checking in the front staff was not friendly but not exactly rude. The lobby is lacking in any warmth and the desire to spend time there would be depressing. The room was your standard room but the bathroom had a hole in the wall and after I noticed it I notified the front desk. They didn't seem to care one way or another! After receiving my credit card bill I was double billed for the room and upon calling them was told that I put the hole in the wall and since they were unable to rent the room till the hole was repaired they decided to bill me for an additional nights rent instead of what it would cost to repair the wall. Person on the phone said they would need to investigate this as the employees definitely would have noticed this and not rented the room till the repair was made. HA, they rented the room to me with it there. THIS IS A SCAM and they make extra money this way. The property has many, many issues that need to be addressed, from the front door to the top floor and beyond in the parking lot. We will not recommend this property/business or stay here again. I will be contacting the local police department today to make a report of what I think is going on here so that they can investigate this issue. I stayed here for 5 nights - there was clothes left in the bathroom from the guest that stayed there before me, items left in the closet from previous guest. Cob webs in the bathroom and light bulbs were burned out in the room. The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. My shower was dirty and went I went to the front desk they told me they couldn't help - I had to go buy cleaning supplies and do it myself. I asked for my money back and they would only give me one nights pay back.. I would never stay here again! read more

My experience at Brighton Comfort Inn was as good as it gets! Every morning there was hot breakfast that varied from biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, and fresh bacon and eggs. My room was clean every day and it felt so cozy. Each day the front desk workers greeted me and made me feel welcomed. They even helped me find directions multiple times. When I visited there was a snow storm and I was nervous about driving in the snow, however the parking lot was always shoveled and it was easy to drive, walk, and get in and out. Overall, my stay was a great experience and I would highly recommend for anyone in the Brighton area! read more

Made reservations back in January for ourselves and my husband parents. We arrived on 7-14-15, and paid for our room and my in-laws. In-laws arrived on 7-16-15 and were asked for their credit card upon checking in. Upon all of us checking out on 7-19-15, we discovered our credit card had been charged once for our room, and had been charged TWICE for the room for my in-laws. Plus, my in-laws credit card had also been charged for their hotel room. So instead of this particular Comfort Inn getting paid $826 for a total of 2 rooms, they tried to get paid over $1,550 for 2rooms for a total of 6 days. Fortunately my in-laws credit card has been credited for the additional charge of $362, mainly because they live in Colorado. However, we are still waiting for the second of 2 charges for their room to be applied to our credit card and because we live out of state, it will probably take longer. While the hotel was nice and clean, we're very unhappy with how many times they charged our credit cards. Right now Comfort Inn has lost 2 customers, and possibly the entire Choice Hotels chain. read more

Brighton Comfort Inn is one of the best hotels I have stayed in! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Not to mention the bed in my room was comfortable and I slept like a baby! In my down time I took advantage of the pool and hot tub which was incredibly clean. Really a great hotel and I am definitely coming back again! read more
