This has been an amazing experience. Mark at the front desk was extremely helpful in adjusting my reservation and it took so much stress off my plate. Dan is also a very nice gentleman and made the accommodations here quite pleasant. The hotel is very clean inside and housekeeping is on another level here. I felt comfortable during my whole stay here. The pool is great and the hot tub was even better. The fitness room was just enough to get a good workout in several times. There is a very diverse group of hotel stayers here from families to workers and everyone moved like a large family at a reunion. There wasn't one time when I was put off by anything here and it felt like a 5-star hotel. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Oh, and the Spicy Tacos place across the way is also pretty good for tacos. I don't think they knew I was a foodie. read more

A nightmare checking in error and subsequent credit card fraud check. Clerk checked me in under a Corporate account. I told her that was an error. I do not work. Nothing was done to correct it. The paperwork had me staying for 2 weeks with a "pending payment" of over $1,265 assigned to my credit card account. My original and correct reservation was for one night. The clerk checking me out in the morning told me she would have to wait for the manager to arrive several hours later to make any corrections. Will this get resolved? I hope so. Hotel needs updating. Hot tub inop. Breakfast has lame. No eggs, no milk, no orange juice, no apple juice. All carbs for breakfast. Very disappointing for a Hilton brand. Will not be staying here again and do not recommend for the price. 2 stars for a subpar stay. Added: trash was overflowing from check in. Elevators were disgusting. Unfortunate check-in experience: When I asked how much the room cost, I was told 166, plus tax for each of my 2 rooms. Then when I got to my room I saw that I was charged way more for the second room. I called and asked. Tania, at the front desk, said that's just what I was charged and never explained why. I asked for an itemized "receipt." Tania said, she couldn't do that until the morning and then proceeded to tell me I could always leave if I didn't like it. I felt lied to and mislead. I won't stay at a Holiday Inn again if I can help it. I had a TERRIBLE experience! read more

After 6 days in Breckenridge it was time to come home. We had a few options. Drive all the way from breck to the airport to catch an early am flight or stay the night 15 mins from the airport. That's what we did. I stay a Hilton properties for the points and overall service. I had enough points to make this stay free, so that's always a good thing. I prefer the double tree properties over the Hampton inns. They did have a gym and pool. So that was nice. The room was clean, the beds were comfy and you get free breakfast. We just grabbed some fruit on the go. The staff was very friendly and helpful. WiFi was down but it was city wide so that's not their fault. I think century link was having some issues. If you need a hotel that's close to the airport I suggest this spot. read more

Don't stay here. Bed mattress was horrible, heating unit fell out of the wall when we touched it. Carpet buckled in hall wall, don't fall over it. Hilton, you need to look at this hotel, not at all up to your standards. read more

Nice hotel, clean rooms, friendly & responsive staff, and good breakfast. Only downside was the noise level - could hear people in the next room & the hallway in addition with road noise (train, semi-trucks, and motorcycles). Would definitely stay again but might request a room on the other side of the hotel. read more

Disgusting is the only way to describe the condition of this hotel. Elevators were very dirty with actual ground in dirt. Hallway carpet on 2nd floor needed replaced or stretched one. The stench in the hallway was unbearable. The assigned room smelled musty and the air conditioner was very loud. Shower and carpet needed some deep cleaning. Went to check out less than 10 min later and front desk could not credit back my points or $50 incidental charge. Management was not available. read more

Very soft and lovey bed, queen/full size. *indoor pool & sauna *weight room *small refrigerator *small microwave *small coffee pot in the room Anyway the rooms are nice and very clean. I do recommend this place for people who need a place to rest up from the long drives on the highways. The free breakfast is great! They offer fresh cut fruit and the normal continental breakfast but still delicious! read more

Beautiful king size room suite. We weren't there long. We went to bed early in order to get to the airport for early flight. The walls were thin. We heard people talking through 12:30 am which made it hard to fall asleep. We left before breakfast was served. No one was at front desk at 3:30 am when we tried to checkout. I knocked on employee room to rouse someone. We were about ready to leave our key on the counter when clerk appeared. She apologized for delaying us. read more

Stayed at Hampton during the snow storm. It is decent and clean. Great friendly staff. The morning free breakfast is good. They have a business center and have access to computer with a printer for free. The only concern I have is that their pool is dirty. There's a lot of sand underneath. Overall, It was a great stay, their amenities provided convenience throughout our stay. It is close enough to fast food chains and grocery stores if you forget to bring stuff. read more

Rented a dozen or more rooms here to accommodate guess coming in from out of town for a wedding. Check in was great. They accommodated our request and placed most of us on the same floor. Hotel was clean and nice. Everything was great until today......check out. Wedding was last night so at 9:30 this morning I called the front desk and ask for a late check out on three of our rooms. I was told that they were sold out for tonight so the best they could do was one hour more. At 11am, I attempt to shower but, there is no water!!?? I call downstairs again and the young lady at the front desk says " OK, I will tell the maintenance man to turn it back on." So, I wait a few minutes and they finally turn the water back on. I then shower BUT, the entire time I'm thinking......."They intentionally shut the water off at check out time?" and "Does the extended hour they allow us, NOT include water?" My friend tries to get into the room and the room key no longer works. I'm so discussed I'm just going to brush my teeth and get out of there....Well, guess what? They have cut the water off again! All of this well before 12 noon. I will NEVER stay there again. It is the most offensive practice I have EVER encountered at a hotel. It is bad business! Shame on the Hampton Inn! read more

Stopped here for the night, after driving from Minneapolis to relax and was interrupted by the fire alarm twice in one night! We had to evacuate the building and stand outside until the fire department told us it was alright to return. The hotel front desk had no explanation for the matter and just told us to go back to our rooms. The rooms were clean and food was great on the flip side. read more

The ladies at the front desk were very welcoming and warming. The whole staff was friendly towards my entire family and I. Jocelyn and Markeita made sure our stay was very pleasant and accommodating. They have continental breakfast in the morning and have snack bags throughout the day. The rooms were clean and they have a pool area if you want to swim. This hotel was a good choice. read more

My first time staying at Hampton Inn and first time to the area. Upon check-in I was greeted when I entered the doors which is great. However, the check-in process was where the nightmare began. My stay was previously arranged by my employer and was instructed that they left a card on file for incidentals. Upon checking in I was asked for card to cover incidentals at that time I said that there should be a card on file for incidentals and the lady said "no." I think explained that should be one as it was instructed by my employer that they have the card for incidentals. She said no there isn't one. Each time I began to explain the situation her responses got shorter and snippier. At that point she explained that a card is needed. So I got out my debit card and she explained how much is being held on the card.I asked if that was per night or just a one time charge and she said just one time charge and asked me to insert my card in the chip reader. The amount she told me was a completely different amount that was reflecting on the chip reader and she insisted that it was the amount she told me. At that time she forcefully turned the machine towards her and began doing something on her computer and then would look back and forth to the chip reader. To the point she removed my card and kept jammin it in and out the machine. Finally she got it reflect that amount that she said to me. I accepted the amount signed and went on my way. The next day I went into my bank account to check my balance and it was lower than anticipated and low and behold I was charged the higher amount that first reflect on my screen. Not only was this a charge that I was anticipating as it was covered by my employer but it was much greater than the amount disclosed to me at check in. read more
