What a horrible experience! "Cockroach Infestation" Road trip from California to Arizona and we decided last minute to find a hotel. We pulled in at 11:00 pm and found this hotel. The owner let me know that the rate was $99.00 + tax. When I told him no way and turned to leave he asked me what I was willing to pay. He was a really nice guy and the staff was wonderful. We woke up the next morning to be greeted by a cockroach on the nightstand. I freaked out and told my sister we needed to forget showering and get out of there. As soon as I turned to pack up my stuff another cockroach was climbing up the wall by the sink. It was a big one. I went to the front counter and showed them the picture of the cockroach I had taken on my phone. The owners response was that they had an infestation four days ago and sprayed. They had to close the entire first floor but decided to open it back up since they didn't see any cockroaches the last couple of days. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!! A COCKROACH INFESTATION!!! and four days later you think it's okay to put people in the hotel room and charge a ridiculous price to stay there? Thank you for giving me nightmares that's sure to haunt me for years to come Quality Inn. As for the owner, when I let him know how disappointed I was and that I paid a lot of money to stay there his response was that he lived there and he didn't like cockroaches either. During a recent trip to Arizona my wife and I stopped at our half way point as we have in years past to rest for the night. We opted to stay at the local Quality Inn in the small town of Blythe. We have stopped in this town several times and have stayed at a few of the other hotels in the area. After several trial and errors we have come to the conclusion that you get what you pay for. Yes, Quality Inn is a bit more but they have never failed to surprise us. The staff is very attentive and on point even at 1200 A.M. The rooms (Small Suites) are clean, fresh, spacious, and have all the bells and whistles. Mini Fridges, Microwaves, Large Flat screens, Full size couches and sitting areas. Nice size pools for the Hot days or mornings. Full Fee Breakfast and I don't mean toast coffee and a piece of fruit. The hook it up. Eggs, Papa's, Biscuits and Gravy, Waffles, Pancakes, Fruit, Yogurt, Bagels and all the fixins. Juice and Coffee bar. Shoot I hated to leave. Really good stay. We stayed here while looking for a house. Occasionally there was noise coming from the room next to us and we could hear their conversation but it wouldn't last long. The ac stopped working the third night, like it would freeze if it got too cold in the room so we would have to turn it off for over an hour and then we could turn it back on for a bit. Due to the flash floods and bridge collapse on the 10 Freeway on 7/19/15, I had to get a hotel in Blythe for the night. It was a mad-dash to find a hotel room before they all sold out. The first hotel I stopped at said they had no vacancies and that 8 hotels nearby were all sold out. I went next door to Quality Inn and spoke with Pratik, the General Manager who was at the front desk. I can't even begin to explain how patient he was given the circumstances, crowd, volume of phone calls, etc. I'm sure it was a very challenging night for them. He said that they were sold out but had a few rooms that weren't being used for various reasons (blemishes, etc.). He said he would do his best to get us a room (there was one couple ahead of me also hoping to get a room). I waited in the lobby hoping I might get lucky and sure enough, about 30 min. later I checked back with him and they had a room! In the 5 min. he was checking me in, they must have received 15 calls. Pratik was on top of it and did it all with a smile on his face and a calming voice that we all needed. A+ customer service and the room was nice too! read more

Meh, the front counter personal was very pleasant and the price was fair considering the area. The room was clean although the deadbolt didn't line up and had to play with the positioning of the door to get it to work. What got me was the AC unit filter was absolutely filthy all it takes was a quick shake out. apparently hadn't been done in months. also evidence of rodent poop was in the vents of the AC.. Quality Inn is not UHmazing, but it's pretty good. The thing I've come to notice is they do have a consistency from one property to another. The beds & pillow were OK, sorta small for 2 people. Our room was spacious and clean with a fridge and a lil couch. I always appreciate QI having an indoor heated pool in winter and a hot tub, it's usually my selling point. The breakfast is ok for a day or two. It's instant scrambled eggs, frozen biscuits warmed up in microwave, limpy weird bacon (it's not too bad) and a waffle machine. The coffee... is ok. There is also yogurt, apples, oranges, bananas, cereal, juice, bagels and cream cheese. I once stayed in a QI for a week, and after a few days the food was tearing me up. For one night I paid $163 which honestly seems high for a sh*thole like Blythe, but oh the gem shows. I'd go back b/c I've stayed at other places in Blythe and there are some super dumps...this place is at least clean, nice and not stinky. Friendly staff. *I called within 24 hrs of checkout to ask about joining the rewards program and was told nope...so do that before you check out. read more

I had such a great experience here. Traveling between SoCal and AZ, my kids got sick in the car and I was exhausted. I decided to around and rest and get cleaned up. They were friendly, and very accommodating. My expectations were that I'd have a clean and writer to rest, and that's exactly what this spot was. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean. Carpet and chairs in the room looked clean. The front desk attendant was so sweet and still very professional. The breakfast- it was free and tasted great. Good price. Indoor heated pool for the car/cabin fevered kids. Great breakfast and the rooms are pristine/remodeled. The stuff was very friendly and after a confusion with travelocity they gave as a discount and a little care package with cookies, candy and pop corn! read more

I had a chance to stay at a motel the day after I stayed at Quality Inn Blythe and it really put things into perspective. This place is VERY clean and felt clean washing up and sleeping in their beds. Great service up front and a pretty good breakfast. Highly recommend it if you are looking to spend somewhere from $80-$90 on a place to stay (for 2 Queens or 1 King bed). read more

I was able to check in early staff very friendly and helpful the room was clean but it smell like a Dirty motel the bathroom smell really bad. Next time I'll spend and extra $20.00 and stay at Comfort Suites .. Never again read more

It was a fair experience - I chose it in the area as it had such high stars, but it wasn't a 4 star experience. Seemed like used sheets with stains though I believe the sheets were clean. There was still some toothpaste in the sink so the room cleaning was minimal. My toilet broke in the middle of the night, so it ran and made noise uncomfortably. Breakfast was ok. I always think the cleanliness of bathrooms say a lot about a place as the employees have to use it(downstairs bathroom) and they are preparing the breakfast and should have good hygiene-i had to change the toilet roll downstairs and it seemed unattended for the most part. Traveling from California to Texas. Stopped in Blythe for the night. Had my sons dirt bike in the back of his truck. We asked Veronique if the parking lot was safe to leave the uhaul trailer and dirt bike exposed overnight. She assured us the lot was safe and they don't ever have any issues. We noticed a camera system behind their front desk and we asked if we could park near a camera. Veronique bent over backwards for us. She offered to move her car to make room so we could park the truck and trailer in front of one of the cameras. We were presently surprised how clean the room was. Microwave and fridge in room. Enjoyed the complementary breakfast at 5am before heading out. We would defiantly stay again while passing through. read more

This motel seems to deserve 4 stars in every other way I have assessed, but there is a dealbreaker for me: my otherwise flawless room smells of human, not animal, urine. The front desk people say that they hear this all the time(!) and that it's the through-the-wall HVAC unit, not urine. Well, then that's worse, as it would indicate mildew/mold, so why don't they do something about it? I didn't use the pool or other features, but the breakfast was very good and the front desk people were quite friendly, even keeping breakfast out for me longer than the posted time. Very nice! The staff is very nice, the rooms are updated, nice, and clean. The complimentary continental breakfast was good. Offerings included eggs, chorizo sausage patties, waffles, biscuits and gravy... along with cereal, pastries, yogurt, etc. I would definilty stay here again. read more

My boyfriend and I were stuck in Kansas City until the day after Christmas so we needed a nice place to stay. We looked around and saw this place had decent reviews so we called and a nice man named Victor helped us out. He and Joe were both very courteous and kind even though working on Christmas can't be the most fun. Above and beyond customer service was the best present we could ask for. Thanks Victor! :) Not only that but our room was spacious and clean. Nice King size bed to sprawl out on. Big enough to park your 18 wheeler like we did. Merry Christmas! I'm gonna tell everybody reading this straight out the whole an honest truth about this establishment. When I entered my room I smell the strong distinct odor of a dead rotting prostitute. I cannot make this up. I can't tell if it is dead body or if it is rat poison but it is real tough to bear all I try to sleep this evening. I am going to go out on a limb and give them a gesture of human kindness with two whole stars on this review. Honestly I should be only probably putting one star. read more

Stopped here for a few hours of sleep. Nice room. Very comfortable beds! Only stayed for 5 hours, so don't have a lot to say except it was perfect for sleep. Plus really clean. They did have breakfast also. read more

I can't speak for the other motels in town but I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. Very clean, obviously well maintained, good lighting in the parking lot, good variety at the free breakfast, we'll definitely stay here again should the need arise. Props to Sindee at the front desk! read more

Checked in to a ninety dollar room on a 100+ degree day after several days of camping. I wanted three things: a cool place to sleep, a fridge to store some surplus food, and WiFi. After unpacking a lot of stuff, we realized that the AC didn't work. The customer service from the front desk was very disappointing, but we eventually got moved to another room. Good stop on a road trip. Not spectacular but good enough. The comfort suites next door is higher class, more expensive but is worth it if you tend to like higher end hotels. If you don't really care, this place is great for a stop over on a road trip. read more

Pretty standard place. Everything was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. They had an indoor pool, and it was a bit of a bummer cause it was so humid in there. I guess it gets pretty hot there, so I can see it's to keep the water from getting too hot or keep guests from getting burned. Pretty decent continental breakfast...if you got there in time! Everything was usually gone in 10 seconds and there wasn't a lot of places to sit in the lobby (during that time). Plenty of parking and lots of food places around. read more
