According to the front desk, this hotel is suppose to be upgrading its properties. I can't believe I stayed for 8 nights and hated every minute of it but it was already prepaid. Upon arriving to the room I was met with cockroaches. The front desk said they just sprayed for bugs and housekeeping must have missed vacuuming them up. So DISGUSTING. They removed the "door latch" and even though I asked for it to be put back on, they refused. Not safe at all and I even voiced that to the front desk. The furniture and carpet both had stains. The desk was missing its drawer. The sliding glass door was kept lock with a bar holding it closed. Not safe, anyone could break in. The breakfast buffet was the same all 8 nights. The gravy from the biscuits was like water. They could have at least changed it up a little. Overall, I would never ever stay there again. I would have given this hotel zero stars. read more

It's clean, comfortable, and quiet. Those are my main requirements for a room. The front desk person was amazing, even recommending local restaurants. My only complaint is the lack of power connections in the room. No USB, and no easily-accessible outlet near the desk. I found it to be excellent for the price. This is the most disgusting, nasty, rundown dump I have ever stayed at. The service is awful and the staff is inconsiderate and dishonest. I was treated as if my concerns were questionable and talked to as if I was dumb. After driving a 14 hour drive. The rooms air-conditioning was not working properly and I was hot and uncomfortable after paying for 3 nights. And we of course were not moved bc it was an inconvenience for her. Then when we asked for a refund she lied and said she wasn't allowed to refund us which is not true. We asked when the manager would be in the next day and again she lied and said she didn't know. We stayed here for 5 nights. We had a room on the bottom floor, with 2 full beds. I also want to state that I travel with a service dog and this place gets Bailey's 4paw approval. It's kinda weird that we have a door to a hall and a door to the parking lot. We didn't mind it though. The beds are a little firm but comfortable. The floor was a little stained but my feet stayed clean walking around barefoot. I do not know why they abuse their pillows into these hard square shapes, but we fluffed them back into a regular pillow. For some reason this became a point of contention between us and housekeeping. Every day, they would force them back into their tight little squares and every night we would fluff them right back out. Finally, the last night we left a note asking they be left fluffed and they acquiesced. Breakfast was biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, waffle maker, hard boiled eggs, toast , yogurt, cereal, coffee, milk, Apple/ Orange juice. In all it was very reasonable. There is a pool, spa and fitness area that are closed for renovation (sobbing, was looking forward to soaking) they do have guest laundry, but do not offer soap. (There is a Wal-Mart just down the block) it's $3/load for wash and dry. They have vending machines. The ice is good for drinks, but not so good for ice chests. Michelle at the front desk was a huge help. She pointed me in the right direction several times and deserves kudos for being so helpful and friendly. We would likely stay here again if we were in the area. read more

I have no idea how this inn has a 4 star rating on Google or 7.0 on Priceline. I booked a room with two double beds through Priceline a week before our trip. The inn changed our room reservation to one bed without any notification and we didn't find this out until we had driven 7hrs from Dallas arriving at 12:30am. They then told us they had no other rooms available but refused to offer any compensation for the inconvenience. I was then told that there was nothing they could do because I booked the room through Priceline. I called Priceline and they said it was the Inn's responsibility because they changed the reservation. The person at the front desk finally agreed to bring up a rollaway bed. When it arrived, the sheets looked like they hadn't been washed in a month and there were dead bugs in the sheets. There was one outlet by the bed but my plug for my phone charger would not stay in and kept falling out. The cabinet in the bathroom was coming apart and had nails exposed causing a hazard for kids. I called the corporate office of the parent company, Choice Hotels and was also given the runaround with them saying they couldn't help because it was booked through Priceline. I did not feel safe or clean in this hotel. Attached pictures of the mold, multiple colored stains, and holes in sheets. The hallway smelled like smoke. The doors do not close unless you slam them shut, and we had issues with loud arguments in the rooms around us. Saw multiple police cars in the parking lot responding to calls. We thought it would be a good deal for just 2 nights, but it is not worth the price. I will not stay here again. Edited to add: we had a room with one king bed. If it wasn't late and we are not exhausted we would have left. The Rooms are gross. We had a " King Suite ", holes and stains in the furniture , stains in the carpets , burn marks on the bathroom vanity , smells like old stale smoke. DISGUSTING!!!! Find another hotel. Reservation was made online, and politely asked for main level, end room, away from as many people as possible. They ended up being fully booked, and it would still have been OK, if I was in the last room, and would only have one connecting wall, with others, to deal with. But my requests were not honored. I was given room on the 2nd floor, NO ELEVATOR, had to carry heavy luggage (my issue I guess) up 13 steps (check-in desk has no knowledge of hotel, as she told me there were only ten steps. Get to my room, and there's a bag for ice, but no bucket to carry it (I'm an ice chewer-another my issue, I guess), so I call and speak to same person who tells me they don't have anymore and cannot take from another room, even though (at this time) I can see from parking lot, not even 1/2 of the guests have checked in. Hand sanitizer in hall, does not work, so touching all kinds of doors, and nothing to keep guests safe, from covid. Very dated hotel. NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE!!! read more

The only reason it got one star is because I had to.. I reserved a room for my daughters graduation from Harding University, I called back to book another room and they charged me the amount of the room like I stayed there that very night. Worst experiance ever. The rooms were not cleaned before we checked in. There was garbage behind the TV stand and a used deodorant stick left from the previous guest. Holes in the blankets and sheets. Blood stains on the pillow cases. It doesn't state anywhere online that the pool closes for the season and the pool was closed and green. The wall paper was peeling off in the bathrooms and bricks were falling by the front entrance. When asked to speak to the manager the lady at the front desk said he was not in and would not contact him. She did offer to upgrade our rooms, but there was no way we'd stay there after what we found. read more

Dirty, towels were both dirty, stained sheets and comforters. I can deal with not updated hotels but at least have clean sheets and towels for weary travelers. Oh, and zero extra toilet paper with less than 25% of a roll left is unacceptable. Mini fridge didn't even work. This place is not safe with patio rooms access to parking lot, anyone can break in. Check in Staff was wonderful, not their fault that corporate doesn't see fit to update this hotel. Won't be back. read more

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room had a chemical smell to it...clean chemical but overpowering. The AC would turn off and would sometimes not come back on until you either turned it off then back on. My biggest beef with this place is that the owner rudely told my wife she could not have her emotional support dog without even checking to see if she had the paperwork for it. He pissed her off and from the staff's reaction he tends to piss off a lot of people. My wife suffers from anxiety so she can get really upset. He doesn't even apologize to his guests. The staff goes out of their way to apologize to make up for it, but I feel he should have apologized. Quality Inn should remove this franchiser and replace the business with someone who will put quality in Quality Inn. read more

Woke this morning to find bedbugs!!!!!!! Took pics went to the front office and the person behind the counter repeated the manager will be down . And I couldn't believe what he said. You must have brought them from another hotel. You've got to be kidding me. Needless to say he wouldn't refund our money. We left there and went directly to a laundry mat to wash all of our clothes so we hope and pray that we don't bring them home with us. We stayed here for a couple days. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was ok. Not the best but not the worst. The reason for the 1 star is because their customer service. When we arrived the woman at the desk gave us our room key and all was well until we got a knock on the door 15 mins later and was told we had to move to a different (not as nice) room because the one we were given is saved for the manager of the property for whenever they want to stay. Why is that room so special? Do we get a less par room because we are paying? Completely unacceptable. They tried to put us in a room where it smelled like the AC unit was on fire so we had to get a different room. After that everything was fine until Friday afternoon when we got another knock on our door. They were asking when we planned on checking out. Huh??? We had paid until Saturday morning at 11am. The person who set up our messed up her end of the paperwork. And they claimed they had been trying to contact us yet neither one of us had a single missed call, text, or voicemail. They even rekeyed our room! Thankfully we had our receipt. So they said all was good, no additional charges since it showed our check in and out. Then today happens. We go to check out and turn in our key and they try to sneak and charge us an additional night! Not to mention the additional night was almost 1/2 the cost of our entire stay! The guy at the counter called someone and they wanted us to call the woman later and get everything settled. We live in another state. No! I've got my receipt that shows check-in time and day, check-out time and day, and out paid in full conformation. They refused to tell us the managers name. Refused us a refund. Then when I looked our bank account they charged us another fee the day before! So for 3 1/2 nights we paid originally $185 but then they snuck and charged us an additional $135! They are sneaky. Now we have to dispute the charges and wait to hopefully get our money back. So not stay here. We will not be staying here again. The room was nice but the "oops we didn't charge you correctly" let me charge you on the downlow, is enough to never stay here or refer anyone here. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. My family stayed at this hotel for nearly 4 weeks while caring for our grandma while she was in the local hospital. The ENTIRE family came this last week to stay and it was the most horrific experience ever! We rented the largest suite they had along with other rooms to fit our entire family. The suite smelt horrible and I went to give my daughter a bath after a 12 hr drive and the bathtub ran brown water that smelt like sewage. The owner/manager came to fix it and yelled at housekeeping to bleach the tub and put draino in it, like that would help?? We waited a few hours and went back to talk to the owner about changing rooms as we were uncomfortable with the situation (putting my daughter in sewage bleach water was not happening!). My husband, brother and cousin went to talk to the owner and to make a long story short, he told us to pack up and leave his hotel after screaming at my family for an hour. Nice customer service from the owner of all people. ... They then proceeded to tell us that we had to buy another room of we were staying ( hard to move that many people) because we were violating fire code (suite had 3 beds and a cot and there were 6 people and 2 babies in that room) and they refused to pay for one of the rooms even tho when we made reservations they said it would be fine.The family was staying an entire week for gmas funeral and had to move rooms halfway thru the week because they could no longer accommodate us in the suite....we ended up renting 4 rooms and moving all those people to the opposite side of the hotel half way through our stay all while trying to plan a funeral..... Our mother had to stay an additional 3 days after our family left and he (owner) refused to give her the price of rooms we paid for nearly 4 weeks!!! He wanted to charge her more even tho we have been staying there so long!!Our parents eventually had to leave today and stay at another hotel. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel, especially since they knew our situation of losing family member and the amount of businesses we provided since everyone had to travel to arkansas. The rooms were less than acceptable, breakfast was disgusting, and the owner is beyond rude, ungrateful, and just plain heartless. I feel horrible for the people that work there, he yelled at them everyday.....the rooms were less than clean and the beds were not comfortable. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS, the rooms are sub par, employees dont care, and the owner is beyond rude. Choose another hotel if you are visiting Searcy anytime soon!!!! read more
