    Dead fly in the rollaway bed

    I have no idea how this inn has a 4 star rating on Google or 7.0 on Priceline. I booked a room with two double beds through Priceline a week before our trip. The inn changed our room reservation to one bed without any notification and we didn't find this out until we had driven 7hrs from Dallas arriving at 12:30am. They then told us they had no other rooms available but refused to offer any compensation for the inconvenience. I was then told that there was nothing they could do because I booked the room through Priceline. I called Priceline and they said it was the Inn's responsibility because they changed the reservation. The person at the front desk finally agreed to bring up a rollaway bed. When it arrived, the sheets looked like they hadn't been washed in a month and there were dead bugs in the sheets. There was one outlet by the bed but my plug for my phone charger would not stay in and kept falling out. The cabinet in the bathroom was coming apart and had nails exposed causing a hazard for kids. I called the corporate office of the parent company, Choice Hotels and was also given the runaround with them saying they couldn't help because it was booked through Priceline. Don't stay here, go somewhere else.

    Mold in bathroom

    I did not feel safe or clean in this hotel. Attached pictures of the mold, multiple colored stains, and holes in sheets. The hallway smelled like smoke. The doors do not close unless you slam them shut, and we had issues with loud arguments in the rooms around us. Saw multiple police cars in the parking lot responding to calls. We thought it would be a good deal for just 2 nights, but it is not worth the price. I will not stay here again. Edited to add: we had a room with one king bed. Bed felt like a blow up mattress.

    Worst experiance ever. The rooms were not cleaned before we checked in. There was garbage behind the TV stand and a used deodorant stick left from the previous guest. Holes in the blankets and sheets. Blood stains on the pillow cases. It doesn't state anywhere online that the pool closes for the season and the pool was closed and green. The wall paper was peeling off in the bathrooms and bricks were falling by the front entrance. When asked to speak to the manager the lady at the front desk said he was not in and would not contact him. She did offer to upgrade our rooms, but there was no way we'd stay there after what we found.

    I booked the jacuzzi room for one night for me and my husband. I got a call around 4 pm the day of…read morethe reservation asking if I was aware of a $100 CASH ONLY deposit for the room. I was not. I was informed that it was "on the website somewhere." I investigated and there is a drop down that you can click at the very bottom of the page of the reservation summary. It's labeled hotel information and is completely separate from the deposit and fees drop down. It states, "Guests living within a 50 mile radius of the hotel will have an additional $200 per stay authorization or cash deposit that will be released upon checkout if no damage occur." I've stayed at other hotels that required a deposit, but never had I needed to provide one in cash. There is absolutely no reason for it. We had to stop off at an atm to get the money. The stay itself was fine. The jacuzzi was nice and everything was clean. The bed was comfortable and it was pretty quiet. The bed has a metal base so if you bump it there's a terribly loud noise. Breakfast was pathetic and there wasn't much to choose from. The icing on the cake was when we checked out and wanted our deposit back. Housekeeping checked our room and there was ONE washcloth that had some brown coloring from us wiping out the residue from the bath bomb we used. The hotel attendant asked, "What happened to the towels?" As if they were ruined or something. After I explained she seemed reluctant, but she did return my money. She also made a snide remark about my signature being "interesting" and that "no one will ever steal it that's for sure." What? I don't recommend unless you want undue hassle for a mediocre experience.

IMMEDIATELY informed the front desk, they gave us a TOWEL for it, and said they would check it out the following morning. It was late, and we said alright, expecting it to be taken care. The following day i was in the room the full day and no one came to check on it, but had plumbers in the two rooms to the left of the our room. our Room was never once touched by house keeping, and we had to go to the front office for new towels DAILY after they made sure we brought the appropriate numbers of DIRTY towels back to them. we had already given them close to 500$ for the stay plus 50$ deposit, and a pet deposit of $125. needless to say, we were broke after paying all of that and had no means to go anywhere else. We booked through booking which has given us the run around since then. Finally today booking says that we need to contact the property our selves. So we did, and we're straight up lied to about OUR experience by the so called "property manager" Val or bal, whatever her name was. She said we NEVER ONCE complained on the property, then proceeded to say that they knocked and knocked and knocked and knocked (her words not mine) on our door the day after our complaint to see if we wanted to change rooms. They said we REFUSED housekeeping in our room, all lies and honestly disgusting to be to told that your experience just didn't happen. The "property manager" is a very rude lady. I would not stay at this hotel!! They lied to booking .com as well, ignoring their calls until finally we reached out to the property today. if we could have changed hotels at the time we would have!!!!
