Also in Las Vegas the employees can be rude when asked for help. Im in a wheelchair and sometimes I require a decent amount of help while shopping. Now with that said I came in to this Walmart in Hartwell about 10:15pm less than an hour before they closed. The store was clean and winding down. I was having a hard time finding things as it's a bit of a different layout from my Vegas stores. I ran into an employee named Edward. He was friendly and greeted me with a smile. He helped me find the last few items I needed in grocery. I must say all the staff seemed very friendly and welcoming. I was even impressed that none of them had earbuds in like the employees that work at Walmart in Las Vegas. If i travel back through Hartwell again I will definitely be stopping there again. He started making faces to the other cashier in front of him simply because my mom was taking a little longer to find her card. I'm a huge Aldi fan and having them come to Hartwell is amazing. If you are an Aldi shopper, you know that they don't have multiple different brands of same item. They do carry some name brand products but focus more heavily on their own brand. Which is great and a quality brand. The produce section has organic and regular produce. At a great price. There are times that I leave Aldi and still have to stop somewhere else to pick up a few items that Aldi doesn't carry, but most of my shopping gets done at Aldi. Once you know what they do and don't carry, it is a game changer to shop here. They have cashiers and also self check out lanes. The cashiers are fast and efficient. The store model calls for limited employees needed so you will find an employee stocking and when they hear the ding from a cashier because there are people waiting, they will open another lane. It is how they keep their prices low. Bring your quarter because you will need it for the cart. They are located outside and you put your quarter in and disconnect it from the other carts. When you are finished shopping you push it back in and get your quarter back. I love this because it keeps carts contained and you don't have to worry about your cart getting hit because someone has left it in the parking lot. You also will either need to bring your own bags or purchase a bag from them. They do always have boxes that you can take, free of charge. I love Aldi and I'm sure you will also.

During the summer, the store has much more in it and they cater to the summer lake time fun needs. During the winter, they really don't have as much in terms of stock. The customers also change greatly based on the time of year. During the fall, winter, and early spring, you'll find the regulars only. Later in the spring and during the summer, you are going to find your typical lake visitors. They overrun the town and rarely make things easy for this easy going store. This store is ideal during the colder months, but don't go to it if it's warm out because you'll have to fight for anything you need at a Dollar General.
