Then Juan from Prograde called me a second time to make sure we had found someone to replace or fix the skylight. When he learned that we hadn't, he sent David and a co-worker over to our house that very afternoon to assess the situation. David promised he could replace the skylight the following day -- a Saturday! -- at a very reasonable price. True to his word, David called Saturday morning to tell us that he and his crew would arrive as soon as the rain let up enough to allow them on the roof. We had roofing, staples, nails, tar paper all over the yard, drive way and side walk. And of course they apparently were short one ladder and used my 24' ladder with out asking permission. The clean up was unsatisfactory, this morning I went out with a small magnet and picked up 9 round silver roofing tabs with staples in them, 5 roofing nails, 16 large staples. That was found just in the front yard. 3 nails in the drive way. They need to use magnets and scan the property like the professional roofing companies do. Now this was done three days a go and the left their truck and trailer loaded with roofing from the tear off in my drive way. and if they are not here by 9 am I am going to have the truck and trailer towed away.

Well today is Monday and they call me saying they can come today, I told them I'd be home by 2 pm, they were already there, they had already inspected the roof and wanted to see the inside of the house where the leak was. It took us a bit of time to get everything in place to have the job done and they honored the original quote (even though it had an expiration date of late July). When we were finally ready to have the work done, scheduling was easy and they arrived at the time promised. They did a great job protecting the workspace and replaced an electrical outlet that erroneously had some insulation sprayed into it. We are very happy with the outcome of the spray foam insulation - the spray foam provides a much better barrier than the standard fiberglass and Radiant is a good company to work with.

It started with Erik Wimmer coming to do the estimates and then providing me the options on what the team could do. Erik is a true professional and was in constant contact with me on every aspect of the work to be performed from start to finish. Construction crew performs the work in the same manner. They know what they're doing, and get the job done quickly with no hassles, and very little work on your part. If you have any extra input or requirements, it's no problem and they will fulfill them also. I had a minor request to replace a bent siding corner piece on the house. It didn't get done when the main work was performed, but was surprised that they made a special trip the next day just to replace it, since they had to fabricate that piece at the shop. They will certainly fulfill your needs to your complete satisfaction, with very little work/requirements on your part.

J-Tech did several projects on my home and unfortunately I had very bad experiences with them. They…read moretore out and installed a new front porch floor and decking on my home but didn't perform the work per the manufacturing guidelines of the products they installed. The porch doesn't have the proper slope for water shed and since they didn't seal the decking product they installed, the boards retained moisture, swelled up and buckled. The porch has been off limits for over two years because the company won't come back to fix their mistakes. Its a trip hazard and the warped boards are popping the siding. I also had gutters replaced on the house and unfortunately J-Tech had problems with their bending machine and the gutters still aren't right. A few months after they installed the gutters and downspouts, a section of downspout on the front of the house, fell off. There were two machine screws holding the section on. J-Tech hired a local sub to remove and replace a section of concrete patio on the West side of my house. The sub contractor framed the concrete in such a manor that the water pools in the center and runs back towards the house. This was an issue that was brought up well before the completion date of the projects on my home and stills remains an issue over two years later. Just recently in the past few weeks, I had a sub contractor that J-Tech hired, show up at my front door demanding payment because they were never payed by J-Tech. The sub contractor said he was going to put a lien on my house because of never getting payed. I pointed down to the front porch floor and said I was having trouble getting them to fix the issues of many things they had completed. I've been restoring the family homestead for almost 30 years and this was a horrible experience with J-Tech Construction that I wished I would never had agreed upon. A large sum of money was payed for work that will have to be redone. Let the buyer be aware and always check references.
