I put it on a slow charge all night. A friend came over on Saturday and jumped started and rode around in yard and when he drove it back in garage cut it off and then it wouldn't start. He said you have a dead battery so he went and found one and installed it.It cost me $90.72. I called Knightdale tractor and they said I would have to bring in to be checked out. We took mower in said it would be about 2 weeks but they called earlier and said nothing was wrong with mower bit the battery was dead. They told me they could put in another battery so I said yes because the mower is no good without a battery. I thought it would be free. When we went to pick up they charged me $160.86. Never again will I buy from KNIGHTDALE TRACTOR ABD EQUIPMENT.They charged me $55.00 plus $14.99 for retainer plus $20.00 shop supplies. The battery was $60.00. I could have put battery in myself but I felt like the dealer would take care of it and they would contact Cub Cadet.

I suspect Tim and team still do good work. But if you get an email stating "Just confirming your appointment" realize Natalie isn't confirming but instead is asking 'do you still want this appointment?' in code. I'm sure business from my push mower is meaningless to them. This experience has tipped the scales for me, I think. I'm considering a rechargeable battery based mower come spring.
