Rudy Renteria at Quality Auto Body is absolutely incredible! I took my metallic blue 2004 Toyota Celica to him after someone ran into my right door, and he did a fantastic job. The paint color match is completely perfect, and it looks like a brand new car. On top of that he totally cleaned the entire car, even making the headlights look pristine. Beyond the flawless repair work, Rudy's kindness is unmatched. When I couldn't rent a vehicle because I didn't know how to drive the newer models, Rudy went completely out of his way to take care of me. He had dopped me off at Enterprise and came back to pick me up and drive me home. He even personally delivered my finished car right to my house. I started getting rust spots on my car this year, living by the ocean I wasn't surprised. I called Quality Auto body one day and was warmly greeted by Rudy. (Not always the case at mechanics/ car service businesses.) He answered all of my questions in detail. Never did I feel rushed or pressured. We decided on bringing the car by to get a better view and quote. Unlike other places I went to before calling Rudy, they made it seem like it was going to be a lot of time and money, however Rudy honestly told me that it would be a pretty easy fix and he could do it in just a couple of days! Paired with a very reasonable starting price quote as well as more options and pricing for potential future maintenance. Very professional, genuine, and fair. When I got my car back the damage was completely gone and had a seamless paint job to match! Literally like it never happened! I had trust that the job would get done and be good, but Rudy honestly exceeded my expectations, and without breaking the bank! Rudy at Quality Auto was super easy to work with. I took my 2012 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck to him because the hood and roof was peeling and corroded bad. ( grey Tacoma's are known for that ) . After having a little incident with my car, I brought my car to many places in the Five Cities area as I was vacationing out here. I took it here because they had the lowest rates out of all the other body shop places in the area and the guy told me that he didn't have many cars to work on. So, I left my car with these guys so that they can work their magic. We were told that we should get the car back by Saturday (if he works that day because he's semi-retired) and I should get my car by Monday at the latest and he would let me know when the car will be ready. Saturday rolls around and we never received a call from anybody. "Okay," I said. Maybe the guy took Saturday off to be with the family and I wasn't bothered with that because a relative let me borrow her car while I wait for mine to get out of the shop. Monday comes along and I get no phone call throughout the rest of the day. Now, I was irate! I already gave the ride back because I thought I was going to get my car today! I ended up having to hitch a ride to see what the hell was going on because the guy didn't bother to pick up a phone and give an update. Turns out the guy was still not done and wanted another day. So, he couldn't tell me that over the phone? I would've been irritated but at the same I would have also accepted the fact that I had to wait another day! The fact that I never received a call that day is what pissed me off. Tuesday rolls along and the car is ready to be taken back. I will give these guys credit though. They did fix the bumper and did a pretty good job on it (with minimal imperfections on the paint) which is why I can't give these guys one star. What I don't understand, however, is WHY THE HELL WAS THE INTERIOR OF MY CAR DIRTY WHEN THE WORK WAS DONE OUTSIDE OF THE CAR!? There was a bunch of dust all over the dash of my car and all over the seats! They couldn't bother closing the windows when they were working on my car!? Why the hell were they opened in the first place!? I also don't understand why they changed the FM dial in my car (I ALWAYS leave it on 91.3 and it wasn't on 91.3 when I picked it up!) There's a radio in the body shop that appears to work fine, so I fail too see a reason why anyone at the place had to listen to the radio in my car! They also did a pretty HORRIBLE JOB at washing my car when it was presented! There was STILL dirt all around (good chance the paint got more scratched) and the parts the car had water stains throughout the paint! Seriously, if you couldn't wash a damn car, you should've just handed it dirty to me like you did with my interior and I would've done the rest (which I spent that evening doing)! BOTTOM LINE: Because of my experience with this body shop, I will no longer hesitate to splurge a couple hundred more if I ever have the misfortunes of getting into an accident (learned the "you get what you paid for" lesson the hard way). They did not meet my satisfaction in regards to customer service and the way they left the interior of my car and for those reasons I will never do business with these people again, nor will I recommend them to anybody. read more
