That alone cost $400. Afterward, we were told an additional $1,100 in repairs were required--many of which were grossly overpriced. For example, the tires they quoted were nearly double what I could have purchased at a tire shop. A rear fender reflector--$7.99 on Amazon--was quoted at $30 here, with the excuse that it had to be OEM from VW. Fine. We waited two weeks for the part to arrive, only to be told they ordered the wrong reflector. Another week passed before the correct one came in. When we finally returned, the reflector installation took 15 minutes. I specifically asked if we could wait for it, but was told to leave the car because it was "in a long line" and might not be ready until the next day. Thirty minutes later, I got a call saying it was done. In total, this required four separate trips, over 100 miles of driving, and not once did we receive an apology, acknowledgment of mistakes, or any offer of a discount. Instead, I was met with dismissive responses like "it is what it is" and "it's always something." The person I dealt with was snarky, condescending, and completely unconcerned with customer service. Mistakes happen--but the attitude and lack of accountability here were unacceptable. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

In October, I brought in my car for repairs/painting. They informed me a part was needed and would be ordered. Understanding potential holiday delays, I followed up in January--only to be told the part had been ordered but it was "someone else's fault" for the delay. Fair enough, I waited. In February, I called again: the part was in, but then they asked when I'd pick it up. Confused, I reminded them the work included painting--they responded they weren't sure they could even work on my car because it's "high-end." This information would have been incredibly helpful back in October, saving me months of waiting. The representative said a manager would call me back. No call came. Two weeks later, I called and spoke to someone claiming to be a manager--they promised to look into it and call back. Again, nothing. Now in March, I called once more: the manager was "out of town," they needed "approval" to proceed on my vehicle, and--surprise--no callback followed. I've been patient and reasonable throughout, giving them every chance to resolve this over multiple months. This level of disorganization, repeated broken promises, lack of follow-through, and sudden hesitation on high-end work after initial acceptance shows a complete disregard for my time, trust, and business. I will never take any of my cars to any Caliber Collision location again. It's disappointing to end a long positive history this way, but the lack of respect and professionalism is beyond tolerable. If you're considering Caliber, think twice--especially for anything specialized or time-sensitive.

Instead of giving me an estimate, the customer service representative there (Travis) referred me to DentPro. Travis told me that auto body repair would be overkill -- and overpriced -- because they would sand and paint the car, which was unnecessary, since the paint hadn't been broken. Travis told me that Jeff at DentPro was "an artist," with whom his shop worked frequently, and who could repair dents in which the paint wasn't broken much more affordably than an auto body shop could. I immediately called and texted Jeff at DentPro, and waited to hear back. A few minutes later, I coincidentally spotted Jeff's truck (which I recognized by the large "DentPro" label, on the side), driving alongside me, rolled down my window, and asked him at a red light whether he had time to take a look. He said he did, so we pulled into a parking lot. He gave me an estimate and an appointment, on the spot. A few days later, he performed the work, in the very same parking lot. He repaired two dents, in less than 40 minutes. He did such a good job, that I can't even tell where the dents were. He even repaired a third, tiny dent, which I hadn't even mentioned to him, for free. His rate was extremely reasonable, and he couldn't have been friendlier.
