This little park started out as just a butterfly park but over the years has extended its collection and now houses birds of prey, ponies, pigs, llamas and racoons (to name but a few). The tropical house is home to the butterflies (plus some reptiles and other insects). The volume and variety of butterflies is breathtaking and the tropical house is well set out so you get plenty of opportunity to see the butterflies without feeling you have walked round in circles. Outside in the park you can explore all the other animal exhibits and catch one of the daily falconry displays. There is a new children's adventure play area and if all of this tires you out and you need to recharge your batteries then there is a lovely restaurant/cafe which serves delicious homemade cakes and lunches. The Gift shop is well stocked and the staff are all very friendly. All in all a fantastic day out.

I honestly can't single out one type of animal because there are so many great ones although the meercats are ace as are the chipmunks. The staff are really friendly and helpful giving good service and taking time to talk to people about the animals if you want to. The prices are quite reasonable too. Well worth a visit if you've got children.

Parents are allowed to go into the area with their kids which is always good, especially if you've got younger ones, and there's loads there to keep you all amused. Wi-fi internet is available, so take the laptop along and get on with your own stuff while the kids play. The food is really good. When they first opened I got a peek at the kitchen and it was more like something out a 5* hotel than a cafe. Most of the food is proper cooked stuff, and there's a fair choice on the menu at reasonable prices. Most of the staff are really friendly, many have childcare experience. It's run by two couples who both have families so they've taken an proper interest in making the best of the place that they can. It's close to the school so it does get very busy at around 3pm but if you're able to go in the morning then it's lovely - I'd highly recommend taking a trip through Brigg to call in here if you're passing on the M180.

Hours of adrenaline rushing family fun (for those aged ten and over) which takes aerial trekking to new extremes. Swing, climb and zip at 20ft and 40ft. High up in the trees there are over twenty different elements to conquer including a 3G swing. For the more adventurous there is an 80ft platform from which a fan descender jump can be made as well as a 1000ft zip wire. Both respectively thought to be the longest and highest in the country! Forget climbing walls - we also have tree climbing (with dry tooling for the very experienced) to heights of 65ft! Do this as an "extra" or as a group outing where teams may race each other over three way courses to the top. This year we also have Segways! There's always a fab selection of items to paint like mugs, plates, teapots, plant pots, cat bowls, animals, fairies, money boxes, tiles and seasonal stuff like christmas decorations & halloween items and if you're stuck for ideas there's plenty of items on display and ideas books to flip through. They even do ladies nights where you can meet up with your friends, take wine and nibbles and have fun painting. Plus new baby Mondays aimed at mums & dads who want to pop in for a cuppa and a chat and paint their baby's hands and feet onto keepsakes and gifts, SO CUTE! Pot painting helps me chill out so I go as often as possible and it's so nice to leave with something you can actually use, I have a houseful :) Definitely not just for kids! x

I had my daughters birthday party at Kinderland on the 19 Feb. We live in Essex and my family live…read morein Hull, so we decide to celebrate her birthday here. There is only 5 children so, I rang ahead and asked if we could reserve a table and have our own cake ect. We did this last year and they were very accommodating. However, after my mother and sister being rudely told no, we don't reserve tables, I rang and was told the same, more politely but was told that the children could have a discount on their meals. When we arrived I told them about the telephone conversation and was rudely told by the Manager, that no you get no discounts. I said we have 16 adults using your cafe, so couldn't we have any consessions? From there it just got worse. The food took 45 minutes to arrive. There was a sign a small one, but the staff didn't mention it when ordering. They gave the kids meals without the sandwiches, (they took 45 minutes to prepare) so of course the kids ate the crisps, chocolate ect. first. After complaining about the length of time it took for the food. When we did my daughters cake, I asked them for a knife and they told me they had to cut it and had I blown the candles out yet as I was not allowed as it was company policy as I hadn't paid for a party. I was also not allowed to eat the cake. I said we'd already blown the candles out, thankfully. I then got a story about health and safety policy, which I then said that there was too many policy's and that it was over the top. I wouldn't be coming here again and left and cut the cake elsewhere. They certainly will not be getting my business or any of my families in the future. It really spoiled the day.

The arcade machines are in excellent condition and are fair unlike some you can encounter. It is colourful and loud, just as children like it. The road has parking space as well which makes thing seven better. For those wanting to visit Golden Sands, it has its very own car park. For little kids, they can race in karts outside. Golden Sands also has a cash machine and an over 18's slot section. Collect tickets and win prizes hanging on the ceiling. I went for a Super Mario toy. Worth a visit if you are in New Hunstanton.

The place is bursting with animals - as you would expect, but our favourites must've been the fluffy chicks, which we were all given an opportunity to pick up and cuddle (sweeeet) and the baby goats, who we could quite happily watch for hours as they have this daft playful puppieness about them. The farm is really hands on, you can feed the animals and pet them - my daughter loved it! There is a nice little cafe too, which serves home made cakes and sandwiches, aswell as a little gift shop that sold lots of farm yard themed toys. It's the sort of place I can see myself going back to year upon year.
