After arguing for 5 minutes they finally agreed to do what they could in the time of my appointment but made a point of telling me it would be 30 minutes less the time I was arguing. But at Volum, she said that she refuses to do brows for men because they don't need to have it done or shouldn't have it done. She also went on to explain that she's from Edmonton and there are no men who do that there, unlike here because Waterloo has a "gay trend". This is so homophobic and enforces stereotypical gender roles. Like women, men can groom themselves however they wish and that doesn't make them gay. And refusing to serve a client because of their gender or sexuality is discrimination and illegal in Canada. I won't be returning to Volum.
