Many patients had established relationships with their doctors for years, only to find themselves scrambling to locate new providers and navigate insurance confusion during an already stressful transition. What makes this even more frustrating is that public statements during the sale process suggested patients would continue to have access to their insurance coverage under the new ownership structure. Yet many patients later experienced uncertainty or loss of access depending on their plan participation and contract negotiations. The bankruptcy itself was tied to massive Medicare billing discrepancies reportedly totaling hundreds of millions of dollars. Unfortunately, it feels like the people who paid the price were the patients -- particularly seniors and veterans who depended on stable healthcare access. Healthcare organizations should prioritize patient care and loyalty during transitions, not leave vulnerable populations feeling discarded. I had about a 10 minute wait (much less than I am used to experiencing). Mary Halleck, the Physician Assistant was prompt, efficient and knew exactly what I needed. She was to the point, a good listener and provided me a clear path to getting better. The receptionists communicated in a straight forward manner and were also prompt . This is the worst urgent care I have ever been to. I presented with a sore throat and chest…read morecongestion. I mentioned that I was prone to getting Strep throat. The NP that saw me only looked at my throat, she completely ignored my obvious chest congestion, I was coughing quite a lot. She said she was going to get a Strep test. She came back and informed me that they were out of tests. Her professional recommendation was to go home,drink lots of hot tea with honey. Just in case she also sent a prescription in for a Z-pack. I followed her instructions,finished the meds, and was sicker. And I was charged $50 even though they were listed on my insurance and I have Medicare. I was actually worse so on the next Wednesday I went to Care Spot Urgent Care. There I was seen by a Dr. he was extremely concerned about the huge amount of congestion and inflammation in my lungs. He had the NP give me an injection of steroids in the office. He also prescribed a course of prednisone,a different antibiotic and a medication for my coughing. When I checked out I was not charged they said it was all covered by my insurance. I am happy to report that I am substantial better. Thanks to the proper care I received at Care Spot Urgent Care. I would not recommend Magnolia Family Urgent Care.

Dr. Zelaya is a nephrologist and an internist and Dr. Karovska (Dr. Ana) is an internist. I see Dr. Ana and my hubby sees Dr. Zelaya. It was hard finding a new doctor when we moved to the area, but this practice is my favorite regular doctor I've ever had. So glad we found them. They have 2 locations - their old one in Leesburg and a brand new office in Wildwood, off of 44. It's easy to make appointments and they're very good about making sure you keep up with annual physicals and preventative care. When you call, a person actually answers the phone, and they're also good about getting pre-authorizations to your pharmacy, etc. I rarely have to chase them down to get things done. They are both patient focused and just wonderful doctors and people. The whole staff is great. If you are looking for a great primary care team or need a knowledgeable nephrologist (Dr. Zelaya) - look no further.

I showed up there about 15 minutes after she was in her room and they asked so many questions. What's her motivation, what she likes to do what is her drive so many questions at the other place never asked, and I regret that I didn't put her in this place first. She was only there for one day before she had to go back to the hospital, but the care and the questions and the time they put into her intake was by far so much more expensive than the other place she was in previously
