Horrible. Do not go there for gel nails! Lumpy, bumpy and uneven. Cost $40 for just an overlay and the nails look HORRIBLE!

If zero stars was an option I would choose it. I had a very negative experience here that has now…read moreforced me to not patronize this salon anymore. I've been coming here to get my nails done since before the business moved to the Voorhees location, but this was the first time I had a horrible experience. It started out with the technician pulling on my hand and giggling and chatting to her coworker, who was staring at me...which is when I first started to feel uncomfortable because I did not know what they were discussing, and with pointed looks, I got the feeling they were giggling at me. During my service, another customer came in and requested my technician. My technician who was in the middle of my service huffed after being told she had to continue with my service before taking the new client who was a bigger ticket client. The new client ended up going with a different employee for her pedicure. After this, my technician seemed annoyed and her work was rushed and sloppy. I was not given the complementary hand massage. I was shocked when I had 2 shorter nails on my index and middle finger. I asked why they were shorter, and was told something like, "you are a lesbian, are you not?" I didn't know how to respond and just accepted the work. My nails were not the length I would have liked, she did them much shorter. Because of how short they were, they looked so chunky and unnatural. I was horrified at the result but am non confrontational, so I paid for my service and left. My nail beds actually hurt to the point I had to remove the set after a few days. I am very disappointed in this technician's behavior towards me and I am left questioning how they treat other lgbtq+ customers. I hope that this was a bad day for her and that she doesn't treat customers like this regularly. Unfortunately after the treatment from the technician and the low quality of my service I will no longer be patronizing this establishment.

I booked online for a full set acrylic pedicure at 4:30pm. When I arrived I was told you pick my…read morecolor. I asked if there were books for the acrylic since the books that were out were for gel. I was assured all the colors were good regardless of the method. When I finally got in the chair, the nail tech came over, specified what I wanted and then questioned me about why I wanted a full set acrylic. She said my toe beds were nice so why. I said that I was allergic to gel polish and I didn't like the way regular nail polish was on my toe nail. She proceeded to ask me why acrylic nail. Is it because I wanted longer nail or thicker. I replied the same about the allergy and the fact regular polish just doesn't do justice. She said okay and walked away. A few minutes later we had the same conversation. This time around she asked me what happens when gel polish is on. I informed her that I got serious burn blisters, itchy toes and then eventually peeling of skin and the way my toe nails look like they're separating from my bed. She tells me to try out the liquid gel as it is not the same as regular gel polish. As she is a LICENSED NAIL TECH, I assume she knows what she's talking about so I agree. She does the base with the liquid gel and then confirms the regular polish color I would like. A minute later she suggests I do the gel polish, as the liquid gel set the precedent. She tells me that if it bothers to come back............ she then rushed through the rest of my pedicure, even so much as not curing the polish properly. AFTER I specified I had an allergy to the polish, I would think every step would be adequately done. Fast forward to 4am and my toes are itching like crazy, I have a huge chemical burn blister, other small blisters are forming, and one of the toes peeled off. I had to pull off all of the rest of the nails because I cant soak off with blisters. As a nail tech, I get you have your ideals, however, when someone comes in knowing what they want, don't suggest differently. As an adult I realize I should have stood firm, but I thought something new came on the market and my nail tech knew what she was doing. Now I have a flare up from the gel and I have to go through itching, peeling and separating and it's flip flop and sandal season!
