Always a great experience!! Very clean and accommodating! Nail tech did an excellent job

I visited Q Nails on a recommendation from a friend and I am very pleased with my visit. I booked prior to coming in but walk-ins are accepted. I had a mani/pedi done by Mary and she did an excellent job. She's skilled pro and pays attention to small details. The vibe was very laid back and relaxed. I was even offered a complementary drink! Based on this visit, I can definitely say I'll be back again! read more

I'd love to recommend them but I can't even get in to see them. I'm new to the area and QNails came highly recommended. The first time I scheduled an appt with them, I showed up and they had changed their hours for that day. I never got a cancellation from them. Today, I decided to give them another chance. I scheduled my appt online. Within 20 minutes, I received a text message saying they couldn't accommodate my requested time. WHY LIST THOSE TIMES AS AVAILABLE ON YOUR SITE?? The website lists like 15 people working there and I can't seem to get in. It's not even worth it. I'll go somewhere else! read more

As someone from houston coming to corpus for college I had some high expectations. I tried explaining to "Khan" what I wanted but somehow it wasn't enough. he was also very aggressive. he wouldn't say anything when he tried to adjust my hands. he would aggressively push my fingers down when i was soaking my old nails off. he would throw my hand whenever it was time to cure, he just didn't speak to me. I really did try to explain that i wanted it 3D on the edge and the rest flat polish like the picture but he didn't correspond. I really wanted to like this place my family goes to. read more

I love Q Nails! They're the best nail salon in the area. I'm not sure what the other views about Houston are really about. Q Nails is on par with Houston nail places and similarly priced imo. They always have time for me, have beverages, and great nail techs. Paraffin, hot stone, gel, shellac, all the things. The girls at the front are friendly and efficient. read more

A good place to go for a drink and a foot massage and the pedicure is worth the time it takes. Your feet are so soft and feel amazing. They have prices to fit all budgets. The nails omg so many colors to choose from and types of nails. Had eyelashes put on just to see what it would be like. They looked amazing. They do so many things to make you feel special. They want you to be very pleased with your service. Haven't been anywhere else since they opened the first salon. Love this place and highly recommend read more

Wow! Please come to Q-Nails! Never once have they made me feel unwanted, or talked in native language in a way that made me feel uncomfortable. The time taken to make sure I was happy, the time I VERY SHYLY asked to change a few details, the love given by everyone there.... I just can't praise them enough!! When I needed details changed, Hai scraped parts off with a smile. He took his time and the details show that!! Just the kind of place I feel welcomed and happy. To top it off I leave with a smile EVERY SINGLE TIME! Henry, Tom And Hai always see me and wave hello! I feel like family and I've only been 3 times! I'm over joyed with them and the work they do I MEAN LOOK at those purple nails! love! read more

I had an appt and had to wait 30 minutes. I was never offered a drink or cocktail. After sitting down, I was left to soak for 20 more minutes. The technician who did the new sns powder could not get the color I requested correct after multiple tries. She shaved the dip so thin and I said I was concerned about them breaking or cracking. They did indeed start cracking within 3 days. One week later and all of the clear coats are peeling off too. I also had to ask her 3 times to make them shorter before I finally gave up and accepted my nails would be longer than I like. I was supposed to get sns nails and a pedicure, but I didn't bother staying for the pedicure. read more

Q Nails & Spa - Ask for Khan. He never disappoints. - Waxing Near Me - Portland, Texas

Staff was rude and never offered me or my friend a drink. I asked for nails I seen on their fb page, my nails weren't the same color & didn't look like what I asked for even had a bubble in one of them. I paid $87 for them. My toes I got shellac as I always do because it last me a MINIMUM of 3wks. It's been less than one week and 2 of my nails chipped. I got the most basic pedi & shellac & paid $45 for my toes and was cut pretty badly on my toe thankfully I didn't get a infection. I would not recommend. read more

Well when I pick the color that I wanted, but, one lady said they won't do that color so they had me pick color but none I want. I was so upset about it. I still had to pay. The techs and staff first of all are not warm and friendly. For a high end , high priced salon their customer service is lacking. Most of all they are so over-priced. They out priced themselves for me and I would have been a LONG time local customer! ..plus would have given many gift certificates. It's such a shame because it's a nice salon read more

Not impressed. My nail shape was a disaster, I kept asking him to fix it and it got worse and worse. The nails are messy and not smooth. The service is amazing and the Nail techs are amazing too... but, they are over priced. I did a simple French in my toes which only was gel white tip no other polish and then I did a simple pink gel on my hands no long nails just my natural nails and no design, the total was $90. That's a little over priced for simple nails you know. So imagine doing nail art or long nails which full on gel toes, hella expensive idk. That's what I believe. But overall a very clean and good service just overpriced. read more

I went in for a pedicure and a gel manicure. The lady doing my toes buffed them so hard that now I have raw skin around them. She's filed my nails do so short they hurt. I got a dark nail polish and she didn't even clean it up well. There is maroon still on my skin. Once done she rushed me to another chair to dry and left me there for 30 minutes. I was suppose to get gel polish but by the time anyone asked if I wanted my nails I was ready to leave. First time here because of the reviews, but I will not be returning. Very rushed and poorly managed. read more

This is the only place I go to get my nails or toes done. I go several times a year and have never had a bad experience! The owner and the people who work for him are also heavily involved in the community and do a bunch to give back. Which is a huge plus in my book. I even remember a story of a lady accidentally throwing her wedding ring away and the owner himself and a bunch of his employees dug threw the trash and dumpster until they found it for her. read more

Plenty of parking. Establishment super clean, despite being completely full, super busy. I came with my 2 daughters to have mani/pedi. We were served drinks and went within 10 minutes to our tables. We made appointments, thank goodness because even on Memorial holiday, this place is packed. My manicure is perfect and i smudged thumbs twice...it was quickly fixed with big smile. The pedicure... i recomend the paraffin...was extra nice. The staff quickly answers questions and our visit was very nice and relaxing. read more

DO NOT GET LASHES!!! UPDATE...Henry Ho (the owner) reached out to me. The next time I'm in Portland, he offered another set of lashes. When I get those, I'll update the review or delete it. First of all, their "natural" look is 2 caterpillars instead of lashes. Second, I did EVERYTHING they told me...no water on your face, covered my eyes while sleeping, kept my hands away from my face. THREE DAYS...the lashes only lasted THREE DAYS. I am NOT the kind of person who can flit away $120 for THREE DAYIS. By the 3rd day, all but a very few lashes on the left eye were still there. BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. AND I did nails, pedi and lashes,, so i spent a bundle. NEVER stepping foot in this place again. read more

Went here a couple of weeks ago! I called ahead for an appointment for a gel manicure and deluxe pedi. They took me right in and started with my pedi. The girl seems so rushed, I feel she didn't do a good job. When she started my massage on my legs she used such fast motions that it wasn't even relaxing. She kept picking up her timer and looking at it. I felt like I was an inconvenience. Needless to say I passed on my manicure. I won't be back. read more

I went here with a friend and had a great experience. The place was very clean and organized, the workers were friendly, they offer free alcoholic beverages, and have a wide selection of colors. I've been to this salon three times recently, and two out of those three times I felt like I was an inconvenience to the person working on my nails. The other time the lady was nice, but it felt really rushed and there was a mess left on my fingers from the sns. The first time I went with my mom and we got the sns for our hands and pedicures. The guy was impatient and rude with my mom, and the pedicures were not very relaxing because they felt really rushed. Second time was the girl who was nice, but still rushed. The third, and last time I will ever go to this salon, I booked an appointment for a mani pedi. The guy got annoyed when I couldn't hear what he was saying and had to repeat himself a few times. Later he asked if I was getting my hands done and I said I had the mani pedi, but I needed the sns on my nails removed. So, while I was sitting in the chair for the pedicure, he handed me the basket with the bag to soak my nails; after awhile he had me reach forward so he could file the sns off my nails. The whole thing was uncomfortable with my pregnant belly making it hard to hold the basket without spilling and leaning forward while my chair was leaning back some. I'm assuming it was to save time, but I was not comfortable at all while trying to move my feet for him and keep the liquid from spilling out of the bag. I guess while he was working on the cuticles he cut me because my toe stung really badly and I have a big scab above one of my toe nails. Once that was done, I was moved to the spot so he could work on my hands and I was trying to show him a picture of how I wanted my nails to look, but he acted like it was an inconvenience that I didn't want the same color that were on my toes (I had picked a color, but when I saw it on my feet I realized it wasn't the color I was looking for, so I was hoping he could help me find the right polish. Apparently that was wrong). So I just asked for a clear coat instead and spent the rest of the time trying not to cry because I was just fed up with the whole experience by that time. I'm not going to pay $45+ to feel uncomfortable in a place where I'm inconveniencing someone just to get my nails done. read more
