We got my husband's suit here for our wedding a month and a half ago. We placed our order on December 8th for a March 1st wedding. The shirts didn't arrive on time and Steve had the incorrect date embroidered under the collar. My wedding dress arrived much quicker than the suit! He has been very slow to respond and we are incredibly disappointed in the lack of assistance for how long it's taken to have everything completed. We haven't received any compensation for the shirts, all we got was a text asking if we needed anything else. I don't not recommend Q Clothier! read more

Wow. What an experience. Something Oklahoma City has been in need of for a LONG TIME. Amazing storefront, great staff, and the clothes are GORGEOUS. They specialize in custom tailor-made clothing, but also have ready-to-wear casual and formal. They carry popular brands like 3sixteen jeans, as well as Thomas Mason fabric. Also all the top suit mills; Loro Piana, Scabal, etc. They also have their own private label Clothing labeled "Rye 51" which is a small batch mentality, meaning if you buy something there's a good chance you'll be the only one wearing it! Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend purchasing a suit from Qclothier. I made the mistake of choosing to have a suit made here for a wedding and it turned out to be an extremely disappointing experience. I was left with no suit and had to find something else to wear. read more

So I'm going to try really hard not to be snarky. Perhaps the business will see this review and make improvements, which honestly, is what you want less than positive feedback to result in, so here it goes: the store has two sides: business clothes (suit jackets, sweaters, ties, etc.) on one side, and casual (jeans, t-shirts, etc.) on the other - In the dividing middle is a small bar area with a big screen TV and a bench seat. And yes - they will offer you a drink, and not just like a water or tea, but like a whiskey or beer. The entire feel of the place, plus every person I've seen working there is complete eye candy - Gorgeous layout, gorgeous people. Kudos for setting up an amazing ambiance. (Sigh). However, do you know what's even better than free booze in a swanky shop surrounded by beautiful faces? ... Wait for it... That's right, customer service, specifically follow-through. My husband has been wanting custom-made dress shirts, slacks, and suits for quite a while now, but we just weren't sure where to start looking in OKC, on top of the fact that my husband LOATHES shopping. So we were in Classen Curve, saw Q Clothier, made note of it, and a few weeks later when I convinced the S.O. that we needed to visit so that I could buy him a custom-made, French-cuff shirt for his b-day, off we went. The ladies working were pushing us to get a suit to go with the shirt, but we figured we'd start with one shirt. If he liked the end-product and the service, then by all means, let's talk all sorts of custom clothing, but before dropping thousands of dollars, let's complete an initial trial. So we picked out a fabric, his measurements were taken, contact info was given, and we were told the shirt ($200) should be ready in about 3 weeks (the actual tailoring is not done on-site). Plus, they had a 50% off sale going on for their cashmere sweaters, so had to pick up several of those too - Let's just say, the hubby had a good b-day haul this year. Yay! Excited! And we waited. 3 1/2 weeks later I called the store, and low and behold - His shirt just came in that day! But the buttons were wrong, so they'd have to send it out again to replace them. (Granted, no one called, nor emailed to let us know the shirt was in, or that it was going to take longer, but whatever...) Me: Okay - how long should that take? Lady worker: it shouldn't take long, but it'll depend .. and... Me: well how about you email me tomorrow to let me know the ETC after you talk to whoever you need to talk to. Lady worker: Yeah, that'll work. Me: Great! Thank you! And then we waited. Nothing. Nada. Zilch contact. Nothing for 3 days. So I admit, I'm getting pretty irritated. That weekend, husband decided let's just swing by the store - We walked in, a gentleman asked how he could help us - I explain that we ordered a custom shirt and the buttons were being replaced and someone was supposed to email us when it was supposed to be ready, but we hadn't heard anything, so we were just checking in on it. And low and behold - The lady worker comes around the corner - Her: "Yeah - my daughter was sick and I was out." Me: Oh no! That's no fun - Hope she's feeling better!" (In my head: even if you were out, you're obviously working today and yet, you still didn't contact us.) So husband tries on the shirt - Looks good, but needs to be taken in at the waist a bit. Lady worker pins the shirt and says it'll probably be ready around Tue (this was a Sat). Me: Okay, so you'll call or email when it's ready, right? Lady worker: Yeah. The THURSDAY after the Tue ETC, I send an email asking when my husband's shirt will be ready. Have I received a response? ... wait for it... No. So, while the shirt looked good from the initial fitting (obviously I can't speak to the finished product since, you know, we don't have it yet), the customer service is simply awful. I guess we'll just swing by the store again this weekend and see where things are. I'm almost 100% sure that it's ready and no one has bothered to take the time to actually notify us of that status. So like I said, lovely shop - abysmal service. If you're buying off their racks and can take the clothes home immediately, then I highly recommend Q Clothier! OR if you enjoy playing the "lets randomly stop by the shop to see if my clothes are ready" game, then again - Totally recommend! However, if spending $200 on a custom-made shirt makes you think you should get at least a basic level of customer service, then I definitely can't recommend Q Clothier. 1 star for the presumed quality of the shirt we've yet to receive and 1 star for the shop's atmosphere and clothing selection. Too bad they don't put the same amount of thought into closing out orders. read more

I didn't know stores like this existed. The combination of Q Clothier and Rye 51 gives you options for every occasion. Another cool aspect is that you are able to drink a little whiskey while you figure it all out. By far the best quality of this operation are the people working there. I attended a networking function there and met Daria, Kathleen and Talor, all who are very fashion forward, knowledgeable, honest and not pushy in the least bit (these guys seriously rock). Daria is my personal saint who helped me put together a custom suit and shirt options. I had a great time going through the process and like I said there are so many options from tuxedos to shirts and jeans between the two stores, there is something for everyone and again you can drink whiskey while you are there. I never leave reviews and honestly my shopping and fashion habit is to buy the outfit retailers put on the manikin because it eliminates self doubt, but every guy has to swing by to give this a shot. Daria had me cracking up the entire time and made sure I was getting what I wanted...again without being pushy or the hard sell that many of us shy away from. There are options at various price levels which is great. I would give these guys 10 stars but Yelp only allows for a max of five. If you are near the area you have to go...also did I mention you can drink whiskey, which basically makes it drinking instead of shopping if you are living by some sort of man code to never admit to shopping. read more

The Norman OK store has terrible customer service- NONE!! Waited 20 minutes for assistance while 2 employees waited on 1 customer- a high school student picking up a tux- and then they stood and did paperwork. Never offered to help me or my husband as we stood at the counter. We left. Our money will spend somewhere else! read more
