If they didn't have so much equipment packed into that space it could be 5 stars for a Navy gym. Free WiFi, large locker rooms (yes, plural!), sauna, lap pool, an excessive amount of cardio machines, they offer workout classes, racquet ball courts, basketball, free weights, power lifting platforms, bumper plates, trap squat/dead lift bars, an indoor track, small(very small) matted stretching/core training area that feels like you're going to be stepped on by someone walking past & some other misc equipment.
I've gotten there as early as 6:30a.m. & parking is an absolute pain in the ass! You may walk a quarter mile through the lot to get to the gym, which isn't a huge issue except during the rainy season (year round) or the winter months.
My preference is to come thru after work between 3-4p.m. & get a good 30 minutes of cardio & a quick lift in a few times a week. I really just use it as a supplemental exercise routine for my Muay Thai training. read more
