I got the first Riesling listed under those of Trier and it was sweet and smooth. For my meal, I got the first pizza listed under the white pizzas. It had honey, goat cheese, and bacon. Both of my selections were recommended by the waitress and were so delicious!! She was easy to communicate with and happy to help us. The man who seemed to be in charge was so kind and checked on us repeatedly throughout the meal, asking us where we were from and shaking our hands before we left. It was nice to feel genuinely welcomed by a restaurant! We couldn't ask for a better experience. There are many tables out on the patio and also tables inside, where it was cool and comfortable for a hot July day.

So when one of the guys at my husband's shop told us about this place, and that they delivered to our town for €3, I was ecstatic. The only downfall is they're closed on Wednesday's and open at 4:30pm during the week. On weekends they're open from 11:30 to 1:30pm as they serve lunch. They're also family owned so you'll see the son and daughter making pizzas or prepping crusts when you pick up your order. It's a very small shop but everything is super fresh and tasty. Their pizzas are served on a wonderfully fluffy crust with a nice crunch along the edges. Of course I got excited when I saw they had Hawaiian pizza on their menu for €13,30(large) because I'm that person who loves pineapple on pizza. The cheese is ooey gooey and stretches away from the slice when you bite in and the pineapples are nice and juicy. They've also got bread knots and chicken wings which are super tasty. Christoph's is a take out only place and if you call ahead your order is usually ready within 15-25 minutes depending on how busy they are. We've ordered from them a few times since it's on our way home from the air base so our orders are usually ready within the 20 minutes it takes to get there from the main gate. So far I've had nothing but good experiences with Christoph's and I think I've found my go to pizza place while we're stationed in Germany.
