The University of Iowa Children's Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa In 2018, my daughter was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease and was admitted immediately.... And it was hard, it was hard, it was hard... Savannah our nurse told me my daughter took her medicine well and I thought she was crazy....but it was a boy in the elevator that planted the seed about where to go for stuffies and my daughter pivoted... After we got a stuffie my daughter agreed to go to the 12th floor. The 12 floor had different air up there like #23.... The 12 floor restored my faith with my daughter Adrian (named after #94) and her cousin Madisen showed me family IS the best medicine... So every Hawkeye wave I remember the struggle; not only this hospital visit, but my childhood, #32, Jon Mai, my Ss who think I'm the most beautiful teacher, anyone who has walked where I've walked my whole life, the Entire ICCSD community, the JaguArs Softball Program, and my principal Mr. Andy Gahan at Coralville Central who is my why....honorable mention for those that suit up for Grandma & Moms...I see you....and remember I am a part of the club... Located in Speicher on a tiny one way street, is Christoph's. Living abroad and trying to find a pizza place with GOOD pizza was on the top of my list. So when one of the guys at my husband's shop told us about this place, and that they delivered to our town for €3, I was ecstatic. The only downfall is they're closed on Wednesday's and open at 4:30pm during the week. On weekends they're open from 11:30 to 1:30pm as they serve lunch. They're also family owned so you'll see the son and daughter making pizzas or prepping crusts when you pick up your order. It's a very small shop but everything is super fresh and tasty. Their pizzas are served on a wonderfully fluffy crust with a nice crunch along the edges. Of course I got excited when I saw they had Hawaiian pizza on their menu for €13,30(large) because I'm that person who loves pineapple on pizza. The cheese is ooey gooey and stretches away from the slice when you bite in and the pineapples are nice and juicy. They've also got bread knots and chicken wings which are super tasty. Christoph's is a take out only place and if you call ahead your order is usually ready within 15-25 minutes depending on how busy they are. We've ordered from them a few times since it's on our way home from the air base so our orders are usually ready within the 20 minutes it takes to get there from the main gate. So far I've had nothing but good experiences with Christoph's and I think I've found my go to pizza place while we're stationed in Germany. read more

Upon moving to Speicher, we heard good things about Christoph's. We soon learned they are not open on Wednesdays. Determined, we tried again another day. The place was clean and had American military themed walls, which was cool. We had some pizza bread appetizers (2.50 €) and a peperoni pizza (9.30 €) with a few sodas. The service was very fast and everything tasted great. The 14" (largest) pizza was just enough for the three of us. We will definitely be repeat customers! read more

Looking for pizza we decided to try Christoph's and were not disappointed. We ordered a Western, which has bacon, sausage, onions, BBQ sauce and cheese, and Hawaiian pizza and both were great. The pizza crust was crispy and the toppings were flavorful. We drove to Speicher to pick up the order but they deliver too. Bottom line - this is a good pizza I would get again. read more
