The place was packed and crazy busy and I appreciate that they took the time to acknowledge me given that they were short staffed. My meal was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed a well paced meal of the following: Red sangria - Fruity and juicy Foie gras - Beautiful presentation. The richness of the liver paired well with the sweetness of the fruit. Seafood curry - Colorful, light and full of great seafood Peanut foam - So good! Light, creamy, nutty. Great way to end a meal. I wish this restaurant continued success!

Definitely recommend making a reservation, I found it impressive that the hostess's reservation system was essentially a notebook and pen in this digital age. We did not see much of our waiter, since the restaurant was extremely busy and filled up with diners. Standouts: 1. Razor clams - I'll always get these if I see it on the menu. Cooked in this incredible garlic sauce. 2. Fish and seafood cataplana - delicious, tomato-forward seafood stew; I liked the version that we had the night before more which came with rice and was more filling. But this was basically a never-ending bowl of fish, clams, mussels, and shrimp. Add to that the fact that the restaurant like most in Porto did not have A/C and I emerged feeling like I had been sitting in a sauna. Skipped dessert; I had my eye on the Weeel! froyo truck parked outside. One more nit - the metal chairs are not comfortable at all for sitting a long time in.

If you come to the valley and don't come to this place, you are doing yourself a disservice. The staff will not steer you wrong and just enjoy yourself. I was recommended the octopus and have had this in a variety of ways and was somewhat tired of it, but the chef prepared it in such a unique way and the taste was literally mind blowing.

The space is divided in three, with an indoor dining area, an enclosed terrace and a bar area. We sat in the enclosed terrace on a lovely night and our service was excellent. Some creative and well-crafted cocktails, classics, and an excellent wine menu are offered. The bartender was awesome and even made a special request Lemon Drop for my wife. The food was equally creative and delicious. As beautiful to look at as well as to consume! Foie Gras was unexpectedly presented and delivered on flavor. As a note, it paired perfectly with their Last Night Bourbon cocktail! Salmon Civiche was fresh and complex with layers of flavors. Wild Boar Lasagna was fantastic, and the Beetroot, Pistachio and Straciatella Ravioli was delicious but probably not for everyone. I loved it, but it was loaded with whole Pistachios, and raw beetroot slices. Odd texture, but still good. Portions were huge and no room for dessert. We would probably share a couple plates on a return visit, but will definitely be back!

We were able to snag a reservation without really knowing what to expect and we definitely were not anticipating this level of elegance! We ended up having a three hour dinner because everything felt so comfortable, peaceful, and lovely. I cannot recommend the sliders with quail eggs on top enough. My husband had the Iberian pork and really enjoyed it, and I absolutely loved my octopus. It was probably some of the best I have ever had. For dessert we had cheesecake and it was just as divine. If you want a dinner you won't forget anytime soon, definitely check out this place.

Nice vibes...but beware…read more I have dined at Grigio during the multiple times I have visited Porto. I typically order the same thing and it usually ranges from decent to very good. However, I forgot that they are tricky. Upon being seated, they will bring a small basket of bread (three half slices of toast and a couple oversized thin crackers). They call this "Couvert". They will stand there with the bread and say something like "I have some bread for you" or "Would you like some bread?" They do not mention the charge of €3.50, but it is on the menu to order. But typically, you have yet to look at the menu to see it on there by the time it is presented to you. So who knows how many people have been fooled by this. Instead of letting people order a starter if they want, they are brought this bread by default. During my most recent visit, I noticed a couple who picked up a tip left on their table because they were unaware of the charge when they got their final bill. I will most likely never dine there again. But let this be a warning to those visiting Porto who decide to dine there. The pizza is good, but there is better in the area. My review is heavily weighted towards a 3 due to how they conduct their business.

Well, they are now number ONE and recognized by the regional wine tourism association! Bravo ! They offer a small selection of Tapas and a wine pairing experience with eight original creations. They were also recommended to me by the owner of two great restaurants in Porto (Meia-Nau). The verdict is great! Our Tapas with Mussels and Sardines were great. The Portobello mushroom with tomatoes and a decomposition of ratatouille was divine. The Black Pasta with Mussels was also excellent. And for the wine The Grand Reserve Tinto 2020 was a delightful surprise. A full body wine with a well balanced combination of complexity and lightness. This wine offers a mixed elixir of joy with oak, vanilla, strong Blackberry , dark curent and wet saddle as well as a hint of chocolate and citrus!
