Hollandia has thought of everything! Absolutely incredible stop for Fika with cozy seating inside…read moreand out -- they even have blankets to borrow for a chilly day. Speedy counter service, delicious princess torta, and beautiful beverages. Everything available looked divine!

During our day trip to Malmö, Sweden, we were in the mood for something sweet after lunch, so we…read moredecided to stop by Hollandia Bakery while exploring the city! This place is definitely popular! There was a line when we arrived, and you could tell it was a local favorite among both residents and tourists. One thing to keep in mind is that seating is pretty limited, so you may have to wait a bit if you're hoping to sit down and enjoy your treats. We ordered the Sara Bernhardt pastry with milk chocolate and caramel, along with a hot chocolate and a hot cappuccino. The pastry was such a lovely little treat, especially if you're a chocolate lover! I also loved seeing the variety of beautiful pastries and desserts they had on display. Everything looked so tempting! The bakery itself has a charming, cozy atmosphere that makes it a nice stop for a coffee break or afternoon dessert while sightseeing. It's always fun discovering local bakeries when traveling, especially ones that offer pastries you don't typically see back home. Overall, Hollandia Bakery is worth checking out if you're spending time in Malmö! Just be prepared for a possible line and limited seating, especially during busy hours. A sweet little addition to our Sweden adventure!

Friends recommended Juno the Bakery as THE best place to get a cardamom bun in Copenhagen, so I…read moreknew I had to stop here. An easy walk from the train station, this little bakery often has a line outside. The wait was short the day we were there so I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Small inside, but you can see them baking the breads and pastries! So that was fun to watch while waiting. There is also outdoor seating. My cardamom bun was so good. I don't think I have ever tasted anything quite like it before! A mixture of sweet with cinnamon and sugar, plus the aromatic cardamom spice - it's such a nice blend of flavors. They're a little on the small size so I recommend getting one for each person in your party because you aren't going to want to share.

Truly the best bakery in the world in my book! We came here twice on our recent trip…read more While our whole haul was absolutely divine, my favorite pastry has got to be the raspberry pastry! Truly so light, airy, flakey, and what I thought was the epitome of the term pastry. 2nd favorite is the vanilla bun. It reminded me of the custard bun from asian bakery's in USA but like a million times better. Honorable mention: the strawberry cream bun is available after 10am usually, and is really good. It was never on my radar until a very nice lady in front of us in line was raving about it, and she was right! Super soft and pillowy.
