Beautiful wooden box and thoughtful card
    Gloria J.

My family and 3 golden doodle fur babies have been coming to Pyramid Veterinary for a little over 13 years. We have seen many vets throughout the years, from our girl Mez' pregnancy to 6 puppies to elderly - to our eldest boys last day. We have always had good customer service when trying to schedule and have questions on procedures. We would have liked to be familiar with one vet but we seem to see someone new each time. We recently went through one of our hardest moments in the loss of our eldest pup Koko. We chose to go with Pyramid for the in office euthanasia. Staff were very supportive during the process but we were surprised to find we were charged for the procedure during the process. We would have liked to pay afterward or before. Perhaps a more comfortable room padding for our pup and family. But we did appreciate the wooden box for the ashes it was beautiful along with the poem. We do appreciate the staff at Pyramid Veterinary for taking care of our pups throughout each stage of their lives.

Lil Major peeking at the other pets

Today was a big day for Major. He got his shots, nail trim, glands and a great check up by the incomparable Doc Williams. Doctor Williams and his Wonderful nurse, Jilian made for a great experience not just for us caring parents, but for our nervous lil boy, Major. They were both So Kind, So Caring. He left there feeling 10 feet tall. We have finally found our little boy a Great Veterinary Center. Thanks again excellent team at Pyramid Veterinary Clinic. Thank You for making this a terrific day.

Pyramid Vet Hospital is great!! They were incredibly helpful when I first brought my puppy in and were able to give some tips and tricks via phone one day when I called up dealing with my puppy's separation anxiety & kenneling issues. Fast-forward a few months & I just got her spayed and they followed up to see how she was doing and asked if there was any questions we had about post-op with her. They really do care about your pet. Thanks for all you do PVH! P.S. - Sadie and I will be really excited for when the 2 weeks is up and she can take off the "cone of shame". ha!

What a great place. Wow. I switched vet clinics so I could get closer to where I live now, they were so nice the minute I walked in and said hello and they all were chatting with my little dog Pippy. They were very thorough and took the time to look through her records and made sure to give her the right Shots. They even clipped her toe nails for me. Now that's awesome. Super cool. Loved it. I'm so happy to have found this place. very caring place to take your pet. http://pvhcares.com

Just wanted to update our family of Pekingese since my review. LaiYi was euthanized and we added a new member to the family. ShaoYi. He's pure-bred and AKC registered. Sire: CH PE YNE'S EDGE OF GLORY (a BEST OF SHOW) Dam: PEVYNE'S REFLECTIONS OF SUNDAE (Where he gets his red coat from) ShaoYi was part of 3 litter pups, on July 30, 2020. He's gorgeous and always playing...we love him dearly

Our dogs love Dr. Lopez. We recently had both of our puppies neutered and spayed. Dr Lopez did both surgeries. He has a great bedside manner and is professional and kind.

Always professional= Courteous, knowledgable and priced reasonably. I wouldn't take my "good boy" to anywhere else.

For a long time I truly loved this clinic. The staff used to feel very welcoming, attentive, and personal, and you genuinely felt cared for when you walked in. I'm really sad to write this review because I normally don't leave negative reviews, but after giving the clinic several chances I felt it was important to share my experience. The clinic seems much busier now, and while I understand that is a sign of a successful business and I support that, it has started to feel like they may be taking on more than they can handle, and that change is noticeable in the overall clinic experience. Most recently I called because my dog's paw was swollen. Since there were no appointments available, I was told I could drop her off in the morning and they would try to fit her in. I waited about 2.5 hours for a call back and received very little guidance beyond confirming that her paw was swollen. The conversation quickly shifted to recommending x rays on both paws along with other items like vaccines and tests that didn't seem directly related to the reason I brought her in. I also asked about switching her dog food due to past urinary issues and never received clear guidance on that. It left me feeling like the focus was more on adding charges rather than helping me understand what was best for my dog, and this has been my experience the past 3-4 visits. This clinic used to be a place I trusted deeply, which is why this is so disappointing. I'm only sharing this in hopes that the team might bring back some of the personal care and attention that once made this place feel so special.

    - A Practice in Decline…read more I want to be upfront: I previously gave Sage Veterinary Care 5 stars, and that rating reflected a genuinely excellent practice. This review reflects an entirely different experience under their current operation. My family has two golden retrievers -- Koda (1.5 years) and Howie (6.5 years) -- and we have experienced repeated scheduling failures over the past several months, including confirmed appointments being rejected after the fact. Today was the final straw. I drove to the clinic, brought my dog in for pre-operative blood work ahead of a scheduled neutering next week, waited while they took him back -- and then was told in person that they don't have enough staff scheduled for his surgery date. No phone call. No message. No heads up of any kind. Just: come in, wait, and oh by the way, we don't know when we can reschedule you. That is completely unacceptable. This information was known before my appointment. A 30-second phone call would have saved the trip, the wait, and the stress on my dog. Instead, the burden was placed entirely on us to show up and find out in person. This is a pattern with this practice since their previous veterinarians left. We have been rejected for scheduled appointments multiple times across both dogs. The communication failures are consistent and the operational instability is real. We are done. Both dogs are moving to a new provider effective today. I genuinely hope they can turn things around, but I cannot in good conscience recommend Sage Veterinary Care in their current state and for the safety of our dogs.

After a short wait (there was only a couple people there when I arrived) I met with the Vet. She explained what was going on and the plan to move forward. She told me about an hour. Shortly have meeting with the vet, the place was packed, with multiple emergencies coming in. Soon after the hour passed, the lady at the county called me up apologized for the wait, and explained what was going on that was causing the delay. About an hour or so later, I met with the vet again. She was able to determine the issue and presented me with a couple of options. I was told that one of the options would be done that day if we went that route, but she couldn't give a time due to the number of other higher priority issues. A couple hours after I arrived back home, I received a call that our pet was ready for pick up. When I arrived, the place was virtually empty, and I was greeted when I walked in. The gentleman at the desk explained what was going on, treatment, asked if I had any concerns, explained the cost, took my payment and returned with our pet. Everyone was very professional, and very kind. Everyone I met had a genuine empathy for all of the animals that came in. I hope that I never have to step foot in here again, but if I do, I know that our pets are in good hands!

We were given medication and an Elizabethan collar and discharged. At a follow-up appointment with our primary veterinarian on Wednesday, it was discovered that a sizeable piece of debris had been left in her eye. The cornea had actually begun healing over the foreign body because it was not removed during the initial visit. As a result, our veterinarian had to re-open the wound in order to remove the debris, essentially restarting the healing process. This oversight is extremely concerning, as it delayed proper healing and could have led to much more serious complications, including potential vision loss. When we called to address the situation, the receptionist was very apologetic and assured us a message would be passed along for the veterinarian to return our call. Unfortunately, we never received a follow-up. While we understand and expect higher fees for emergency care, we do not expect critical aspects of treatment to be missed. We are grateful our primary veterinarian caught and corrected the issue, but we are very disappointed in the level of care provided during the initial visit.
