But if you want to witness an…read moreabsolutely chaotic aquatic circus fueled by stale carbs and bad decisions, welcome to the Pymatuning Spillway. First of all, BYOB here doesn't mean Bring Your Own Booze. Bring Your Own Bread. White bread. Wheat bread. That one bun that's been in your freezer since 2019. Heck, I saw a guy chucking chunks of fruitcake like he was loading a t-shirt cannon. The fish don't care. The ducks don't care. You might care... until the feeding frenzy begins. The moment the bread hits the water, it's like Shark Week met a Black Friday sale at Walmart. Giant carp--literal underwater linebackers--erupt from the depths like they haven't seen a carb since the Reagan administration. And on top of that? Ducks just walking on them. Not swimming. Not paddling. Walking. On. The. Fish. Like Jesus on water if He were a mallard with zero manners. Kids scream. Parents laugh. One guy had a bag of Wonder Bread in a baby carrier like it was an heirloom. I'm pretty sure a seagull mugged someone for a slice of rye. There's no such thing as dignity here--just breadcrumbs and mayhem. Pro Tips: * Don't wear nice shoes. The bread goo gets everywhere. * Hold your bread tight unless you want to be mugged by a gang of pigeons with nothing to lose. * Bring extra, because once you start--you won't want to stop. It's that addictive. The Pymatuning Spillway is a beautiful mess. A masterpiece of Midwest chaos. A place where nature, gluttony, and old bakery products collide. 10/10, will return with Costco-sized loaves.

My cousins have a boat docked on Conneaut Lake and invited our family to visit for a weekend! They…read morestay at a campground about 10 minutes away from the dock. Conneaut itself is kind of strange with the creepy abandoned looking amusement park, and the super haunted Conneaut hotel. We drove right through the amusement park and hotel until we reached a parking lot right on the lake. I think this is a public beach area right next to the tiki bar. I was impressed by how clean it was, and how beautiful the nearby lake houses were. The tiki bar was busy in the middle of the hot summer day. We walked right onto the dock for their boat! It was super easy and convenient. The lake itself is clean and pretty! We took the boat out to the sandbar at the flagpole in the middle of the water. It was only a few feet of water in some areas and kids and dogs could stand. The water felt amazing - 76 degrees! The bottom of the lake at this point is very sharp, so we had to wear water shoes. The lake is really beautiful and this is a great day trip from Pittsburgh.

On Labor Day weekend, it was cold if you spent any length of time on it. Great temp for tubing or boating. There are many coves or sandbars you can stop on if desired. Our hosts had a private dock so we did some swimming there. This is truly a town where families gather over generations sharing traditions. The weekend after Labor Day is typically the wrap up of the Summer season. This area gets lake effect snow and in the winter is pretty sparsely populated. Lovely laid back place in the summer-will definitely return!

All the instructors were so much fun and made us feel very comfortable and safe and gave great instructions. The check-in process was great for our group of 3, we got started with our harnesses maybe within 30 min of getting there after instructions and paperwork and wrapped everything up within 2 hours! I jumped with Logan who was so much fun and reassuring and answered all of my questions. He clearly knew was he was doing (I mean ofc) but had such a calming presence too! There were a couple of solo jumpers in our group too which honestly was so nice to see some others (and more experienced) go first!! I got the handycam package where the instructor just has a go pro on their wrist, which was so worth it for the stills and the video. Once in a lifetime experience for my first jump, totally worth it, can't wait to be back!

How you handle your business, should reflect on your business…read more I was an employee at Canton Air Sports for approximately six-seven years with access to the property throughout that time. Five GREAT years under Rodger Conley, two sub-par years under Marcie and Logan, the new owners of Canton Air Sports, also the owners of Cleveland Skydiving Center. After an accidental plumbing incident, I immediately reported it and assisted with repairs using my own time and money. I also performed additional labor afterward with the understanding that I would be compensated fairly. After completing the work, I was told I had "cost them money" and was not initially paid for the labor performed. I was later paid $11/hour for demolition after raising concerns about compensation. Despite my efforts to help resolve the situation, I ultimately felt I was treated unfairly and held responsible for issues beyond the original incident. My experience regarding communication, handling of the situation, and follow-through was disappointing.
