Rented their 24 foot pontoon boat on July 6th, Friday. Boat was clean and ready to go, I'll give them that. Staff at check in also nice. But about the boat... they have a 9 horse power engine on a 24 foot pontoon boat = poor performance. Then you add on our party of 7, plus cooler and fishing supplies. It was horribly slow. And the noise and vibration was ridiculous. We even called about 100 yards out concerned something was wrong with the motor. It sounded like it was really struggling and we were getting nowhere. Nope, it was fine we were told. I even held out the phone so she could here all the noise. We were told when the engine warms up it would be better. That never happened. And now about the anchor... what anchor. Its a cement block about the size of your head. Did it hold a pontoon boat in place...not at all. There are no fishing pole holders so expect to lean them against the sides. Bench along the back of the boat is wooden, not comfortable, and vibrated constantly from the struggling engine. I would NOT rent here again. read more
