Their team has been very accommodating since I had to go back and forth between LA and Seattle to take care of my mother. I highly recommend VSI, Scott, and his crew to everyone…read more We had Scott and his team add a large new addition above our garage in addition to all new roof, siding, and windows on the whole house. Their work is impeccable. Not only was everything completed to the highest standard, their rates and guarantees cannot be matched. Additionally, their crew, Stacey and Fred, are incredibly skilled and great to have around. The main office contact, Cerina, was very prompt and helpful throughout the process. I can't imagine going through our renovation project with any one else. Scott and his team are truly the best.

We've lost a week of future prime weather for whoever we schedule with while waiting for them to set the estimate up. They were highly recommended on a nextdoor group. After meeting quite a few contractors over the years, I can honestly say I've never been this satisfied with a company. From the beginning, the service was excellent and the whole team was professional, respectful, and easy to work with. What really stood out to me was the way they treat their clients. You can tell they actually care, not just about the job, but about the experience. Max, the project manager, was amazing. He gave me a very calm and reassuring feeling from day one, explained every step of the process clearly, and kept everything organized and on track. That kind of communication is rare in this industry. The quality of the work came out great, and the whole process was smooth with no stress. On top of that, their pricing is very fair and reasonable for the level of work they deliver, which is something I really appreciated. I'm already thinking about doing a full remodel in the future, and I will definitely be using them again. Thank you, Max, I really appreciate everything.

We had a quote by Finecraft. When they arrived, they were very personable and kind. We felt at…read moreease with them, and it seemed they knew what they were talking about. At that meeting, we were told we needed to install flooring under the cabinets. After speaking with a contracting friend and two other companies, everyone said that was incorrect. This led me to doubt their professional knowledge and expertise. After the initial meeting, everything started going by the wayside. They missed appointments, were hard to get a hold of, and changed their story. We went from picking out materials to needing another appointment for the contractor to see the home. During the second appointment for measuring and seeing the home, they "measured" by measuring at an extreme angle. The contractor, in charge of demolishing our kitchen, demonstrated no knowledge in how to properly measure (it was NOT an area needing an angle to measure). That was concerning. They also didn't know the business hours of their own vendors. When we decided not to continue with FC Construction, they were honorable in giving us a refund. But when we called to remind them, the owner told us the refund was in the process. The next day, the main company line called and asked for our refund information to issue a refund. So it being "processing" was a lie. I didn't trust them to start any work, so I have no idea how their work is. But I wouldn't recommend based on the many red flags mentioned above. Kind people, though.

They do everything from framing to interior design, and they always cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. The list of projects they completed for us is honestly too long to name, but here are some of the bigger ones: Outside work: siding, painting the entire exterior, refreshing the deck, installing doors, trim repair/replacement, and window repairs. Inside work: remodeling two bathrooms with walk-in showers and custom shelving, replacing all the trim throughout the house to give it a more modern look, resurfacing wood surfaces, painting all the interior doors, replacing flooring downstairs with luxury waterproof vinyl flooring, replacing subfloors, installing electrical fixtures throughout the house, and building custom shelving for closets and bathrooms -- even a custom cubby closet with a plantation door. Beyond the quality of the work, Val and the team are just great people to work with. They're professional, hardworking, and always positive. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do, and it shows in the finished product. Anytime we had a question or concern, they handled it right away. I'd recommend them over any other contractor in the area. With their help, we sold our house in just 10 days and got almost full asking price, even in a tough market.
