Walk-in prices have gone up $1 to $6/class since the pandemic, but that's still an amazing value. The workouts really push you, but are also quite adaptable. There are people (mainly women, although the occasional man) of all ages and fitness levels in the classes and the energy is great. Perfect for someone looking for a fun way to get back into shape or someone who has been working out for a while and wants to add something new to the rotation. I had done Zumba before, but none were quite like this - and I mean that in a good way! I had driven by for years before attending and this studio is truly a local gem!

First and foremost, membership is pricey. It's the most I've ever spent on a gym membership. But I…read morelike to break down the price into what I'm getting. I joined a whatever gym months back and liked the fact that it was super affordable. I was paying $20 monthly at that time. I showed up for weeks straight, but I found myself constantly just going on the treadmill. There was no direction. I didn't know what else to do. I tried different machines, I tried free weights. But I just never knew if what I was doing was enough or even right. I'm not surprised that I started getting bored and stopped showing up. But my new found love for my own health was still strong so I had to find an alternative. LadyStrong Fitness was advertised on my Facebook and that's how I first found out about them. I did ask for membership information right away, but they definitely try to get you to come in for a free week first before talking about pricing. That's ok, they want to prove they are worth it. I actually appreciated the free week because I would never have signed up without it. I needed to experience the classes first hand. My favorite part about LadyStrong is there is always a personal trainer teaching a group no larger than 20 girls. I've never seen it hit 20 since I've signed up. They are really good at keeping their class sizes small. Classes are always different and they never focus on one body part. There are no leg days, no ab days, etc. Its always a full body workout with a little strength and a little cardio. The best part? Someone is standing there telling me what to do. I've learned very quickly I'm not good in a gym environment without direction. I get bored easily. If someone is standing there, showing me what to do and how long to do it for, I'm going to do it, like it, and want to come back. Now, there are many people out there that do just fine on their own in regular gyms. Cool, this place is probably not your style. But if you're like me, you're going to love LadyStrong. Your membership includes unlimited classes per month. So it's up to you whether you go once a week, or 6 times a week. They have a convenient app that allows you to schedule your preferred class time. You're scheduled and committed to go, that makes me show up each time. No backing out when you have an "appointment". The community alone is also a huge perk. I love that it's women only. I never had a problem working out with men, but having just the ladies who are mostly all in the same boat as you, struggling and fighting with you, it's just more relatable. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Their motivation makes my motivation sky rocket. So although I like to start with yes, it's pricey, I have to say it's worth every penny for me. I would highly recommend at least trying the free week and making your own decision. But with the results I have seen and felt, I can't imagine ever going back to that $20 a month gym.

I wanted to hate it. Why? Because I can then say I was right about all my misconceptions regarding the program. Be warned though. Crossfit Algonquin immediately changed my mind the second I met Chase. Our initial meeting was nothing but warm and inviting. He was honest about the challenges I would face in the box. He was very informative, and you can tell that he's been doing this for a long time and LOVES doing it. His focus is safety first which makes me feel more confident about getting in the box. Almost 2 months in, and I can say that I have never been more challenged and excited about any workout program I've been in. BUYER BEWARE! Out of all the fitness equipment companies out there, this is one you should…read moreabsolutely avoid. There are far better, more trustworthy options than this shady operation. I found a NordicTrack treadmill listed on their website and placed an order. Shortly after, the owner, Evan Lyons, contacted me claiming the item was mispriced--but assured me he would honor the listed price. I explained that I had already placed an order directly with NordicTrack, but chose his company because it was cheaper, which is common with authorized resellers. He told me he'd coordinate with his NordicTrack rep to confirm the correct part numbers and proceed with the order. Then I received both a call and a text confirming the order was moving forward--and was explicitly told by his "rep" to cancel my direct NordicTrack order. At that point, I had over $50,000 tied up between the two purchases. When I contacted NordicTrack to cancel, I was hit with a 10% cancellation fee plus return freight charges. So now I'm already losing money. And what does this company do next? They suddenly refund my order because they no longer want to honor their commitment or pricing. No accountability, no integrity--just backing out when it no longer suits them. So now I'm left paying the price for their incompetence and dishonesty. Thankfully, I've involved legal counsel to recover my losses. I also have every text message, voicemail, and email documenting this entire situation, which will make the legal process straightforward. This company put themselves in a bad position and instead of doing the right thing, they chose to screw over their customer. That tells you everything you need to know. Do yourself a favor--find a reputable company. And take a very close look at their reviews. Ask yourself how many of them are actually real.
