We did the Sacred Stones escape room and it was SO much fun. The Sacred Stones room was a pretty tough escape room in my opinion and because it was just the two of us we needed a bunch of clues to help us along. Unfortunately we didn't escape but Megan was an EXCELLENT game master and gently helped us along our adventure. We tended to be on the right path but needed a little nudge here and there at times. The room was themed so cool and it was so much fun figuring out the clues. It was such a fun way to enjoy one of the last weeks of 2023. Anyone…read morewith young kids know that it's impossible to be anywhere on time, so even though we were about 40min past the intended starting time... the staff was super helpful about rescheduling us and letting us start whenever we were ready. The lobby area is pretty spacious with comfortable couches, and the rooms were simple but immersive. We purposely chose two of the easier ones (The Antidote and Budapest Express), and both parties were able to escape, despite multi-tasking as parents. The Antidote might have been a bit TOO immersive as the older girls were scared. The staff was attentive with the clue giving & walked us through parts that were known to be difficult. Doors were unlocked the whole time in case young ones needed a potty break in between. It was great to find an activity that we could enjoy for ourselves and with kids! It was also nice being in the Bell Works metrohub that we could make an evening out, exploring shops & eats, and running around the bit spacious place. I plan to come again!

It was a first time for my brother-in-law and his wife, and it started getting them kind of hooked. We've all done a few here and there since then, and we still think that this place does a particularly good job. There's a good level of challenge, and they provide some pretty good backstory to go along with the room too. More recently, we went to try out their second room, The Estate, which has a story connected to the first room. It was another fun and challenging room, and they introduced some really interesting aspects to the puzzles. Looking forward to when they open their third room!

We weren't supposed to open the crate then she leaves later we asked for a clue, and the clue was to open the crate we were very angered with the situation overall the amount was way to expansive. Escape the Puzzle is an awesome escape room with seven themed rooms where you get 60 minutes to find clues, crack codes, and solve puzzles to escape in time! My friends and I did the carnival theme room which was medium level as far as difficulty goes. But I will say this is one of the harder escape rooms I've done! Thankfully we got unlimited clues (at least carnival room did, unsure if all the rooms are like that)! Something to note: if you have a physical disability, or don't like tight spaces, the carnival room may not be the best choice for you and I would speak to the owners for more details as to not spoil anything. I highly recommend bringing a variety of people as each room can fit at LEAST six players (some can fit more). And what makes this place even cooler is that the owners created the entire game themselves. Every room, puzzle, and little detail was completely designed by them. You can really tell how much thought and creativity went into the experience. Made it very personal and helps this business stand out more among the many escape rooms in the area. Of course failure in this instance is an accepted result for fun. Our host David, was great in setting up the event and moderating our experience. Our group was setup with the room was closely matched the experience in our group. The tasks involved might have been a little much for the three person group I was in, I'd say a group of four to six is probably best for escaping without help and on time. David informed us of new rooms in progress, including an adult themed crime scene room in the works. There is also a hatchet throwing setup available which I didn't partake in. The costs are fair for the rooms they have. I'd surely be up for another escape (or failure) soon.

But after figuring out how to open a door that did not lead outside like I thought it would, I took back every bad thing I said about the size of the room. The second time we did Museum Heist. This was harder than the Cabin in my opinion, but it's all subjective. I also recommend 4-5 players, not the 10 you can max out with. Eric, our game master, gave them a good introduction and started the room. The flow was different than many rooms I've been in. Most rooms have a few quick wins so you get your momentum going. This room was challenging from the start. No matter, we used a couple of hints and moved through the room pretty well. There were definitely times that we felt completely stuck and then all of a sudden two or three things clicked at once. I'd go back to try their other rooms. I think we may have a new Black Friday family tradition for next year. Oh, the first puzzle? Recognizing that the front door isn't locked, just really hard to open! :)
