My friends and I had so much fun in the pirate-themed escape room! The puzzles are linear, meaning there's only one puzzle to solve at a time, and we were all still engaged the whole time. There were six of us, and we're all game nerds with a good amount of experience playing games and solving puzzles, so that's tough to do. Our game master, Dom, was kind and helpful. The escape experience was pretty fun but it was ruined by the room being 105 degrees plus. Having 8 guys in a room that small we ended with all of our shirts dripping wet. We never were told that the a/c was out until after the experience. This should have been told up front. Given us the option to choose to continue knowing the horrible conditions. read more

Second visit to Bend Escape Room on our annual after Christmas family vacation. This time we did Knight & Rook and successfully escaped! We went as a group of 4 adults and thought we would be solving clues to solve the mystery. Instead, we ended up solving clues to unlock padlock after padlock. It was frustrating. We thought we would be solving a crime and that was not the case at all. It was just a bunch of padlocks we had to figure out combinations for. Additionally, we heard a staff member through the wall say, "OMG! Look at the map on the table!" They were talking loud enough that we could hear them think we were stupid. Some of the clues were also frustrating. For example there were pieces of a map that had to be put together like a puzzle. The pieces were laminated and they were cut out so poorly that they didn't really fit together. The print on the maps was also so small that many of us couldn't read them. The final thing I will add is the staff were definitely not part of the experience. They were unenthusiastic and bored with being there. We had high hopes and left disappointed. We have no plans to return. read more

This awesome time was one of the highlights of my friend's Bachelorette weekend! We had a group of 6 and only one of us had participated in an escape room before this. We did RESCUE because it was the only time available for our schedule but it was so worth it! The puzzles were creative and challenging, and it took all 6 of us to work together. The guy working there was super nice and helpful. He even gave us a couple of tips throughout our time. We were so close to accomplishing it but just missed 2 clues! I highly recommend this for a good time with a group of friends or even for a team building experience. Oh and in comparison to the challenges and puzzles of other escape rooms, I don't know! This is my first one but I thought the puzzles were not a mix of easy to "wow I can't figure it out!". My friend that had been in one before said that this one was much more challenging and exciting. Amazing experience! They are very explanatory about the situation and room you choose to do. It's pretty difficult but they give you clues on the screen that has your timer ticking down. You can do anywhere from 2-8 people a room and its $25 dollars a head. Which in my opinion is not a bad price. Would definitely go again. Very fun! read more

The room was fun and the clues were relatively straightforward. The employees were nice. My complaints were: 1) when we arrived, we were left waiting with no explanation for 10-15 min after we were scheduled to start 2) there was a clue that required us to be able to read numbers but they were illegible (so we were unable to finish the room) read more

Bend Escape Room is a blast! Went here with a group of guys for a bachelor party and it was a super good time! The staff was really accommodating and helpful, the check in process was super easy, and they offer an online reservation system. The lobby is clean, and has some chairs and water available. The puzzle we tried was the "RESCUE" mission - it was very challenging and required some thinking - we ultimately didn't finish it in time but we still had a ton of fun trying. We got to finish the puzzle eventually but we didn't save Judy! I would definitely suggest it as a fun outing for a group of friends! You won't be disappointed. read more

Tried this out this past weekend and had so much fun! Granted my team completed the challenge, so that adds to the whole "this was awesome!" feeling. Overall I felt like the puzzles were challenging enough and the price was worth it. I'm hoping they add more rooms/themes because I would definitely like to return! Two friends and I did the "Rescue" room on a Friday night. This was my first escape room experience and it was awesome! The room was well set up and the puzzles were both very challenging and very rewarding. Staff will provide a clue on the screen if you are stuck for a prolonged time. You definitely have to be ready to think "outside of the box." We finished the room with exactly 1 minute to spare. I will be looking for more escape rooms in the future, as this was a fantastic way to spend time with friends in a cooperative challenge. read more

I finally talked my daughter and her husband into doing an escape room with us. There were a couple in Bend and because this escape room posted the percentage of those who "got out" and there was a room that had a better percentage than the others we picked it. We did want this to be a positive experience with them. We did the Crimson Storm and it was terrific! The puzzles were clever and we did get out with six minutes to spare. It's great for first-timers but having done 10 rooms (but not an expert by any means) I enjoyed it too. If you are up for more difficult rooms, I'm sure this place won't disappoint. read more

What a fun experience! The Bend Escape room is like nothing else offered in Bend, and is unlike anything else I've ever done. I wisely (and unknowingly) chose the hardest room as our first time, and needless to say we did not completely finish the room. What I loved though is that after our time ran out, our host came in and showed us what we needed to do next in order to solve it. We were able to complete the room and that felt like a win. If you're in Bend and looking for something different and super fun, I highly recommend the Escape Room! I can't wait to go back and attempt (finish!!) the other rooms. read more

Only have done the Winter Fall Escape Room. They told me that I was an MI 6 Agent (totally skipping over MI 1-5) and as an agent I normally work alone (creating attachment in my line of work can be a detriment) but this time I was paired with two female agents. One was a tall hot brunette who I instantly had an attraction to and the other a young rookie fresh out of the academy. Time was tight I knew we only had an hour to find that hard drive. I could have just smashed everything to bits with my awesome martial arts training but, I knew there would consequences. So I knew we had to use our heads instead. Searching around the room we found clues to the location of the hard drive. Each of us using years of training, my weakness bolstered by their strengths we eventually found the hard drive and and left the area as we had found it with no one being the wiser. The agent was recovered and we were heroes, silent unsung heroes, but heroes non the less. This could be you you just have to try it. Loved it, will be doing it again soon hopefully. read more

Went here on a triple date. Us ladies surprised our husbands with the night out, and all six of us had a blast! We started out slow - it took a bit for us to get the hang of it, but we wound up solving the puzzle just in time. I highly recommend going in a group. Wow...so we have never been to an escape room so we had no idea what to expect. We were visiting friends who just moved here, and we are from Portland. On the way there the gps took us to a closed road so we were running late. The staff was very gracious. THEN our F250 died in front of 711. Oh my. People helped push it...we were going to leave the men with the truck and bring the daughter in our friend's car. Suddenly the truck started and we arrived half an hour late. We assumed we were only going to get a half hour of fun, but the staff was amazing. Sarah and Daniel were kind and fun...we loved the experience. I can't tell you much except that everyone is able to participate and so it is great family fun. You use your mind and body...nothing is virtual or screen based...you know isolating.
