A Delicious Surprise in Revelstoke!…read more What a pleasant surprise to chance across this little gem while charging our Tesla! Terravita Kitchen is conveniently located right across the street from the Tesla Supercharger in Revelstoke, so we decided to stop in for lunch while the car was charging. I ordered the Grazing Bowl, and it was absolutely delicious! It was packed with quinoa, chickpeas, fresh vegetables, red lentil hummus, egg, feta, seeds, and so many different flavors and textures. It was fresh, colorful, satisfying, and definitely not your typical road-trip lunch. The menu had lots of appealing choices, including several vegetarian and vegan options, and everything looked fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We honestly couldn't have planned a better charging stop! Great food, convenient location, and a beautiful mountain setting. If you're passing through Revelstoke -- especially if you're stopping to charge your EV -- put Terravita Kitchen on your list! A very happy road-trip discovery!

We tried the coffee and carrot cake (so moist and delicious), the soup and sandwich lunch combo was perfect, and the veggie burger was one of the best we've had - fresh and full of flavour. It was super healthy due to loads of veggies in it. I really liked the water bottles on the table as they served duel purpose of being water bottles and marketing for their parent company Dutchman dairy. You can tell they use quality local ingredients. Great service too. Will be back!

When you first arrive there are two parts to the restaurant. One part is just for food and the other is for cake and desserts. We knew we wanted food so we went to the entrance on the right. The menu is quite simple and they specialize on French pastries/breakfast items. I got the Westcoast Montreal Bagel. They really nailed it. I love the smoke salmon in it along with the alfalfa. The bagel was made the Montreal way. It was nice and chewy. It had the right texture. I loved it. B had the large poutine. It was a bit peppery but that was very tasty. They were very generous on the cheese curd which was really nice. Seating can be hard to find given the restaurant isn't very big. There are seatings outside as well. Most people eat and then leave. We ended up sitting on the sofa with the fireplace which was not bad. We do prefer a normal table that was ok for us. I tried a piece of my friend's sticky bun and that was very tasty as well. It is kind of messy to eat. So far the items I tried were tasty. They do have street parking and parking lot dedicated to their customer.

I decided to get the Korean spicy pork bowl. It was really tasty. The staff would use a blow torch to flame the meat, giving a nice caramelized taste. Besides rice, there was shredded carrots, red cabbage, jalapeño, kimchi and sesame seeds. Good option here for other rice bowls and ramen.

I ordered the pretzel breakfast sandwich, strawberry rhubarb bar, and spinach & feta spanakopita. The pretzel breakfast sandwich was made with pretzel bread and egg, cheese, prisccuto, spinach and tomato and they served it warm. It was premade and wasn't made fresh upon ordering. The spinach and feta spanakopita was also a nice savory option but was lacking some flavor even though the crust was puffy and flakey. The strawberry rhubarb bar sounded amazing, but unfortunately mine was much too soggy. The texture took away from what should have been a great pastry. One thing that surprised us was the $5 additional charge for gluten-free bread on my friend's breakfast sandwich. That felt pretty steep for a bread substitution and definitely worth noting if you're ordering gluten-free. Overall, Little Spoon has a charming bakery/cafe feel and an interesting selection of sweet and savory items. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy with local artwork displayed for sale.
