After waiting 30 days, I called just for their customer service to lie and tell me that they can see the order, that it was on the way and that it would be in the warehouse soon. I asked for them to be specific and they kept being vague saying stuff like "it'll arrive soon" or "it looks like this week or next week some time." Turns out, the order was never put in. So they let me know they never placed the order and that they can place the order. The lead time was still going to be 4 weeks and she offered nothing. The worst thing you can do is waste someones time. I called 3 times and their customer service lied and said it was en route and it wasn't even ordered.

It definitely attracts a specific crowd. I didn't feel intimidated because I'm so used to going to different gyms having moved around a lot, but I could see how one may be turned off by the vibe. I personally appreciated the metal music because it made me want to push myself, but not for everyone. I went with a friend because she wanted to check it out and she did end up signing up out of convenience being close by her work but she ended up cancelling. There was a woman who was just working out that offered to show us how to use a machine I'd never seen before. She was very friendly and so happened to be an instructor so we knew we were being taught correctly. It wasn't as crowded as club fitness, but definitely more serious gym goers. I…read moreasked the gentleman if they had any, he explained that they were not carrying powerblocks anymore, in favor of the Matrix adjustables. So I stepped over and saw that they looked similar to Nuobell adjustables. I asked what the differences were, and he said, "Nuo? I've never heard of em." Okay... so I took my phone out and said, "I bet google has some details." I asked if they were expandable, "No." I asked if you could drop them, "drop?...I wouldn't." Okay.... I showed him my phone so he could see what I was comparing- his product vs the Nuobell. Maybe then, he'll give me some details? "Yep, never heard of them," and back into what he was doing. I looked and saw they do have a nice warranty. I wanted to ask about it, but realized it wouldn't matter. If I had to come back to him for warrantied items, I'd be better off dealing with an automated phone process from some online retailer. At least then, the lack of customer service would be expected, not offensive. I looked and wouldn't you know it? They sell these at other online retailers. I closed my phone, "thanks so much."
