Horrible agency - Do NOT work for them! Promo models deserve to get paid well for the hard work but Push is stealing money! It took them over 3 months to send me a check and it is not even complete. They change hours after they book you, they change rates to see who will accept the cheaper rate. I also recently found out if promo model gets paid from Push $20/h, it means they charge a client around $45-$55/h to hire a model. So they take 50-60% .... We need to stop them. read more

I hired Push one winter ago (yeah, I've been meaning to write this review for a long time!) - it was really pushing the limits of my budget, but I knew it could be really effective for in-person promotions and social media...if done well. I hired two male models to do some street promotions in NYC on a Saturday afternoon...one of them showed up. The other one, who had the other half of the promotional materials, did not show up. I was not made aware of this until I called male model #1...shouldn't the agency follow through on the events and models that they book to ensure they show up? That's what I thought. So. I call male model #2, who went on to tell me about how he was locked out, and then he didn't have hot water in his apartment, and then there was a fight with his girlfriend, yada yada...so I ask if he's going to show up - "yeah, I'm going to try." So he gives me a general time that he'll get there...only, male model #1 lets me know that no, he's still not there. I only had these guys for four hours, and it was definitely a two-person job. Male model #2 shows up after hour 3 of 4. I owned a service-based company for five years - I made it my business to ensure that if I told a customer that a service provider was going to show up, that service provider showed up. If s/he didn't, I immediately found a replacement. Not only that, but I certainly wouldn't expect a customer to coordinate directly with the service providers to figure out when they would show up - that's just not good customer service. I'm still not sure what I paid the agency for - it was about $1,000 blown for one male model who couldn't do much of anything without a partner. A huge piece of this promotion was getting real time pictures for social media - but instead of that, a handful of days later I was emailed four grainy pictures. They also had a ton of promotional materials left, as well as a shirt for each of them to wear, and there were a ridiculous amount of issues getting these items shipped back to me...the agency got very defensive when I insisted that I didn't get some items back, but it was my word, eyeballs and counting ability against the models', so in the end I walked away with a small discount and a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I worked a high end event for PUSH three months ago. I have yet to receive my payment. I have contacted the accounting department twice and they continue to tell me that the client has not paid for the event-it would be another 15 days wait. I am still waiting. PUSH does offer a lot of nice events but I would definitely NOT count on an immediate payment OR even to receive it within the allotted time they promise of 30-45 days. It becomes such a hassle to chase down your own compensation. I mean at the end of the day, they did not have to chase me down to work so why can't payment be equally treated that way. Here is an update to the current hiring policy of Push Models: Per Jonathan of Push Models: "the following have been the steps we have taken to prevent future issues..." 1. We have already changed the description of the first part of the night from "GNO Orientation" to "GNO Audition" so that there is no misunderstanding that the event is nothing short of a social meet and greet type of setup. 2. We have added another line on the GNO handout (Most Important Things to Remember) with a direct number and email Senor Booking manager. 3. In the presentation we will further clarify just how important it is to monitor the amount of drinks consumed by our guests and that excessive drinking is not allowed. 4. In the past our VIP section was roped off to insure that no one other then models, applicants, management and clients are able to get in the area to network and socialize. We will now be requesting that the venue management brings back the ropes and security to insure that no one other our party will be allowed into our area. I hope that this review helps many young ladies out there feel comfortable knowing that they can now look for legitimate work via Push Models, just note that the "GNO Orientation" invitation does not mean you are hired, it is a meet and greet. Whatever the hostess say's you "DO NOT HAVE TO MAKE YOURSELF AVAILABLE" to get a job with their agency. I was recently contacted by Joshua from Push Models LLC and it turns out they really want to clear the air of the recent mishaps. they have changed their hiring practices, they got rid of the mean girl Kelsey, are on top of keeping others from using their name for pushing parties such as the one i attended. i asked for a letter on their Letterhead that i may post here outlining the changes they will make to create a better atmosphere for women and prevent anyone from feeling the way i felt that day. we will have lunch and discuss alternative hiring practices that will enable them to keep this from happening again. i will also attend several of their events (in disguise=wig of course!) to make sure they stick to their word before i add another star. stay tuned...update to come shortly. read more

I have worked for PUSH Models many times. All promotional agencies take awhile to pay (sometimes 4 weeks) so anyone who works promotions should know this. They have great events, especially in the LA/Las Vegas area. They are legitimate and fun to work with. I have just executed E3 again for the second year in a row for them. I signed up back in August and applied to 5+ day jobs per month, that I knew worked with my schedule. Never got picked for any jobs, but then would get last minute emails how workers are needed for events that I applied to and was not chosen for. Not to mention that from the time they send you an email, expect you to reply, and then wait to see if you are chosen is not realistic. No matter how you go (train or car), the travel time is easily one hour in NYC. So how do you wait to see if you are chosen when you need to be on your way, to ensure your on time? I contacted the company and asked how to get a better chance of being chosen. The response was nice, but stated to have professional photos done & that they have over 60,000 people in the database who have profiles to apply to jobs. I don't like wasting my time. Ive worked for many promo companies and this is BY FAR the worst company I have ever worked for. NOTICE THAT THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE COMING FROM THE PATHETIC MALES ( AND THEIR FRIENDS) IN THE COMPANY They treat their girls like cattle, from the initial hiring process to the actual work. They take MORE than 60 days to pay you for work done, usually takes about 3 months! They have too many girls working so they dont care about your concerns/comments/issues. Management is extremely rude an unaccomodating, including Jonathan, Patrick, Donicia, Dustin, etc. They take a 60-75% pay cut for themselves, (higher than any other promo company), meaning if the person hiring them wants to pay you 1000 per job, you will only see 400 of it AT THE VERY MOST. Best advice is to try to contact the companies (ex Mount Gay Rum, Seagrams, etc) themselves and send them your promo resume, they will pay you the same rate they are paying these rip-off companies. I have been referring both customers and aspiring models to PUSH for years now and I have only received rave reviews. I know the owner (and some of the staff) personally. In fact I have had countless conversations with their management and I can honestly say this company knows the promo modeling business better than anyone out there. Push models is not exactly a modeling agency. This is pretty much a temp agency for jobs promoting stuff. Example a new company like Red Bull wants to promote their energy drinks, and they want a bunch of kids at stores to give free energy drink samples but also the kids to look cool and pretty girls. Well, since the name "model" is behind the company then they have the right to pick and choose who is cute or cool looking. That's all. Sometimes, you get real modeling jobs. I'm not gonna lie but most of the stuff is like promoting stuff. Work is not consistent. Don't consider this even as a part time job but a little supplement income for 2 weeks that you made work from them in one year. Don't rely on this to pay rent or bills either since you get your little check 2 months later. If you really need cash quick like the same week or even the same day, do Uber eats or door dash. Delivering food, you can make $80 bucks in like 6 hours and cash it out the same day. I'm not talking bad about push but just making an honest review. Picture that I'm adding is actually most of the type of work that you made do but very inconsistent work, here and there once in a lost time. And that's pretty standard for this type of little jobs promoting stuff. Again, don't go thinking that this will help you with your rent, etc because it won't. It's a little side money that you will eventually get months later. If you have nothing to do, and you look cute, go for it. You may get a little side job, maybe for Saturdays for a few weeks or something. Honest review. Oh I forgot, they may send you to promote some cookies with a girl or two and you will end up with new friends or even a " hook up with a a chick". Yep! I was with push in another state by the way. Did a few side jobs here and there, along with delivering food and waiting tables when I was in college. read more

The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because two times I Used them them one of the models showed up super late.. And one time did not show up at all. My booking agent Christie was very nice and helpful, gave me all the info I needed for the event in a timely matter & explained everything thoroughly. Had a great first experience working for Push at the Cisco Summit! Staff and leads were friendly, Cisco employees and partners were great, overall an awesome experience. I'd work for Push again in a heartbeat! Payment can take a while for some jobs, But I asked ahead of time and knew that going into it. If you need to make rent at the end of the week, don't plan on the check from your push job. It's great extra money but it's not a weekly payout system. If you know that going into it and your expectations are correct, I think it's really enjoyable. read more

If I could rate this company zero stars I would. I have worked a handful of events for PUSH (some with only an hours notice) and have reached my limit. The first time there was an issue with paying me they told me that they didn't receive payment from the client for months which is why I didn't receive payment, so I was understanding about it. Then, I worked another event for them, same company for 2 weekends, and only got paid for ONE weekend. I drove an hour, paid for parking out of my own pocket, and also had to carry a HUGE box to set up all of the banners and promotional items. The owner of the company I was doing the event for even complained to me about working with PUSH because they deemed them unprofessional and didn't appreciate that I was only being paid $17/hr when they promise their brand ambassadors $30/hr on their training videos. I was offered a job to work directly with their company as their brand ambassador (outside of PUSH) with FULL compensation for training, mileage, parking, and $30/hr. I have emailed PUSH NUMEROUS times over the last month about my payment and have been IGNORED. I emailed their human resources and the owner of their company and still NOTHING! The rep that I was working with is "no longer working with PUSH" so I have no one to vouche for me even though I sent screen shots of my confirmation of booking, receipts, and mileage. I would advise models to look elsewhere when seeking to work promotional events, and from the conversation I had with the company who hired me through PUSH, I would seek elsewhere for brand ambassadors as well.. So upset.. I'm owed almost $300.. read more

I love push it was easy and accommodating. They offered to pay for my parking for event I worked and all their events are professional. The events are fun and easy to work. I love the random gigs they offer Bc I like variety when work. The opportunity to meet different people from all over the world is endless also. I was referred by my friend and can't wait to do more upcoming events. They offer lots of promos and modeling gigs. It's just a great way to get your name out their in a professional setting. THEY DON'T PAY YOU FOR YOUR WORK!!! I worked an event in early April representing Monster. We worked 9 hours that day because the client wanted us to stay and hand out gift for the end of the event. I remember the girls saying that they were concerned about PUSH because they have a reputation for paying 2 months after an event. I said no big deal, I can be patient as long as I'm paid. 2 months go by, and I message the financial manager, Eve, about my payment. "It takes 30-60 days after you work the event" she told me. I let her know that it had been just over 60 but I would continue to wait. She was nice, but was unsure. So more time goes by, and I email Eve again. She sends the same response and says it could be longer. She now doesn't even reply to my emails. It's been 5 months since the event, and I cannot believe they won't even reply. They took time away from my daughter and I spent my entire day making sure I represented them as best I could. I've worked for many other promo companies, and I will tell every Brand Ambassador to stay away from PUSH. They will steal from you and give you the go around. There are better companies out there. The other models were also never paid. read more

As far as being a model for this company, I could not recommend it. From my experience, I worked for a company who continued to ask me to come back to work events for them because I was on time, friendly, had fun, and was hard working. So I am sure this company would have good things to say about push. But it has been over 4 months, almost 5 and I have not been paid for even the event I worked in July. I had reached out after 2 months not being paid, 3 months, and 4 months. At one point they even said they would send out a check that week, and after a few weeks realized they never sent it. And after I reached out about the check not being sent, they completely ignored my e-mail. I felt no choice but to complain to the BBB. They've been extremely unprofessional with me, when I have been very professional with them. Unfortunately, I feel forced to take this matter into small claims court, due to the continued lack of action they have made to pay me. Please don't work for them, I know I am not the only one to complain about this SAME topic. It's a giant headache, to just have the decency to pay money owed. Oh and P.S. I found out they take about 50% of your hourly wage....for doing what? Because the booking agent was awful, and the accounting department seems to just been doing nothing. AND I was told they never received payment from this company, after reaching out to the company realized they HAD been paid on time. So they lied, very unprofessional. read more

I have worked four different liquor promotions for Push, the first of which was in April. It is now almost July. I understand that it takes time when waiting for another company to pay Push so that Push can pay me, but it seems a bit ridiculous for it to take this long. I have heard this from several other experienced brand ambassadors. They have warned me to not work with this agency as they had to threaten legal action to get paid. I've reached out to the accounting department and my booking agent multiple times but they continue to tell me that they are waiting to close the account. Push should not be taking up brand ambassadors' time if they cannot pay them for their work. read more

I am an experienced promo model and have worked for many agencies and this is BY FAR the worst. I worked an event over 2 and a half months ago and still have yet to be paid. I have contacted Okasana and Ashley many times from this company and I keep getting told my payment will be handled and it is not. I was also told I would be paid $30 an hour and after I had worked to event they are trying to change my pay rate to $10 an hour. I would not recommend this agency to anyone. I only did a few gigs with them. I returned after a few years to share my high energy and great smile. But this agency just made me not want to book with them again. They do state 30-60 days to get payed. And they don't really mean 30 days, they mean 60 days exactly. I finally got my check today that was 60 days away from the events I attended. I spoke to one of the owners of one of the events. He told me PUSH Agency charges for the models as soon as they book with them. So basically they are holding money in the accounting department 60 days for no reason. Its insane if the money is there why not pay your models a few weeks after they have done their job. Especially when we do everything they ask us to do, check in, send pictures, smile, represent their " awesome agency", be out going, have a great attitude and so on. If they want to keep models and they need to figure out a better way to pay them and NOT pay them 60 days later. We work hard for these events and its rude to think we have to wait around, send emails to Push Agency to get pain. Do yourself a favor and don't bother with this agency. They don't value great, talented models. read more

One of the worst promotional modeling agencies that I have ever worked for. I worked a trade show in March for them. Today is July 30th, and I still not been paid. I've been constantly ignored & given the run around. About a week ago, they told me the client never paid them & was sent to collections. An hour later, the company miraculously paid. I reached out to the company in question & they told me Push was paid MONTHS ago. I was told my check would be sent out the 25th. I emailed Push on the 25th to confirm, and they still have not responded. A fellow model that worked this same event with me is dealing with this same issue. This was my first & last time working with Push. I've never had this issue working with any other agency, and I work with many others. read more
