This place is absolutely awful. I called to get an appointment and I got the run around that they needed the doctors orders. I got the written doctors order, then they said they need it faxed from the doctors office. I had to call them back after they said they would call me. I then had to wait over two weeks to get evaluation to receive treatment, because therapist only gives evaluations on Saturdays. I go to my appointment and they have the wrong name and they never got the orders from the doctor's office, then proceeded to ask if I had the doctor's orders. What a joke. So I've been in pain for a month+ because of their incompetence. I would never recommend going there. read more

We are focused on treating patients living with effects from CVA/strokes, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological diagnoses, as well as functional movement disorders, balance and education on fall prevention techniques.

Meet the Business Owner: Lisa J.

I have been a Physical Therapist working with people dealing with the effects of Parkinson's, MS, stroke, Traumatic brain injuries & orthopedic injuries since 2001. My purpose for beginning this company is to build a bridge for clients to their next recovery goal-To go from surviving to thriving. To get them back to doing things that interest them so they will be more active at home, not just going through the motions of life. Purpose Driven Therapy also wants to provide programs for the community so there is something for people to continue with once they are done with therapy; not just going to a gym; but programs specified to improve balance, mobility and decrease the impact of a disease on life.

There is no charge to get in. The paved road around the lake has been split into a one-way driving/biking road and a with an adjacent walking lane. There is a Hike/bike trail called The Freedom Trail that borders this park. Metro Parks Summit County is going to add a connector trail between them in 2026. The Freedom Trail in this area is a rail trail, so it is pretty flat. There is an area called Tallmadge Meadows that to me is a separate park, because the two areas have very different prior ownership and history, but Metro Parks considers them to be the same park. The parking for Tallmadge Meadows is right around the corner from South River Rd. on South Main St. (Rt 91). There is also a trailhead in Munroe Falls for the Summit County Bike and Hike Trail. It is about a ¼ mile North of South River Rd and runs along the Cuyahoga River. I used to be a Firefighter/EMT in Munroe Falls and it was not unusual for us to get called out to the "Metro Park" and have to ask, "which one"? All 3 of these are great parks and I consider myself luck to live in between them.

My son is 4 and has been attending Purpose Driven therapy in person for about a year now. Annette and Lisa are wonderful! My son has made tons of progress in OT, and their hours are extremely flexible which helps as I'm a single working mother. I also private pay for services and their rates are extremely reasonable.
