Pretty disappointed. We contacted Tom regarding property. Made an appointment. He came down with the flu so we went and looked at it. Later sent him a text saying we wanted to put an offer on it. Didn't hear from him we figured he was running a fever and was sleeping. The next day around 11am we got a message saying we better put in a good offer because someone had just put an offer on it. We had cash for it. We sent another offer in never heard back. Felt. Like he was just trying to up the price. read more

Specialties

Purple Pig Realty's motto has always been, "Realty with a Purpose".The company currently will give a portion of its commission to a 501(c)(3) charity in the local community chosen by a buyer or seller represented by Purple Pig Realty. Therefore, Purple Pig Realty helps to improve our community!

History

Established in 2018.

In August 2017, Tom and his wife moved to the Northwest Austin area to work with his oldest son Thomas. He had a strong passion for helping the homelessness and one day in early 2018 visited a community in East Austin called Community First Village. He met founder Alan Graham, who also ran vending trucks in the city called Mobile Loaves and Fishes that served food and brought clothing to the homelessness. Thomas created a unique brand of Real Estate called Purple Pig Realty PBC (Public Benefit Corporation) and wanted to give a portion of each commission earned to this village to make it a better place. Purple Pig PBC was filed with the Secretary of State and The Texas Real Estate Commission and Purple Pig was well on its way!. That same concept and vision has been relocated to East Texas. The company is located at 2137 State Hwy 87 just north of Hemphill. Since November 2019, the company has been filed as a LLC with TREC and the Sec. of State with a brokerage number of 9008919

We stumbled across Purple Pig Realty during our home search and I'm so happy we did! I could go on for days about how much we appreciate Tom. He is calm, patient, helpful, informative, and most importantly for me, honest. We never felt rushed to make a decision, he always answered the phone, and all of our questions. If he didn't know the answer, he found it! He was such a blessing during this process. Not only a great realtor, but an even better person, who we now call a friend. read more

My AC was making this rumbling noise that I have never heard before, they said that was normal and the noise was coming from outside. But the noise just kept getting worse, and it is not coming from outside, it is coming from inside. At thanksgiving running the heater everyone kept asking what is wrong. So I don't run it, and staying warm with space heaters. One of them (Jesse) did some work for a friend and she referred them. I spoke to him and told him the sitch and he had someone over the same day, even moving some things around to come earlier and work around my work schedule. Unfortunately it was bad news and I needed my compressor replaced. I signed the estimate Monday, it is Friday night and my very hot house is finally less than 90°. I don't know what all they did to make it happen, but I at least know they drove to Beaumont and a very nice man named Tavo spent 3 hours dripping sweat on a Friday night to get me into cooler air (sorry my dog refused to be friends), leaving at 9:30 with two more jobs to do. The owner even went as far as to check and make sure it was still working and the air was cold an hour later. I cannot recommend this company enough, their communication, dedication, and outright friendliness was top tier. The experience I had with them was a great first experience to having something major go wrong in my first home. 10/10
