I entered the store and asked for a torch for a dab rig; the Vector VMotion was presented as one of the options. I chose it based on its small form factor. The VMotion is clearly not a torch designed to support a 30 second burn to heat a quartz nail; it's a lighter designed to quickly ignite loose leaf products. I did two sessions with my rig yesterday and, after a balky start, the unit I purchased functioned but burned through its entire fuel reservoir in the 60 seconds I had it running. I tried the unit again tonight and now it won't even spark into a consistent flame. It's pretty much dead; I've literally had it running for less than 5 total minutes of continuous ignition. I won't hold the retailer accountable for a product it didn't manufacture. I will, however, hold Purple Haze up as not reputable for its staff failing to advise me against a purchase. read more

The employees that work for Purple Haze at almost all of there storms are rude and un-knowledgeable when it comes to pips and water pieces. The prices are crazy expensive you can find the same thing online for half what they want. Most of the time when you come in to there shop in a good mood you leave in a bad one. If you want to take a picture of something you might buy they yell and tell you no picture allowed. Walked in yesterday to buy a piece, guy was chillin with no mask on, the entire time I was in the store he acted as if I was an inconvenience, and constantly tried prodding me to 300-600 pieces even though I'd stated I wanted to stay around $200. Didn't work with me at all and gave me an attitude and made me feel like an inconvenience. Went to the zen house and got a discount due to how terrible my experience was at purple haze. I was in search of a replacement for something I accidentally broke and he made it his mission to deliver. When we couldn't find something close to the description, I thanked him and left. Yo purple haze in west Ashley is shit. Rudest employees. I bought a vape and opened the battery area while checking it out and asked the woman helping me if it came with a battery and she said yes. I also asked if it wasnt working properly when I got it home and charged it up if I could get a refund and she said yes. I got home there was no battery. So I rushed back and asked for a battery because I was told it came with one even tho the package said it didnt when I looked further. And the manager came out and I explained to him that I had asked her and she said yes he asked if she had and this woman just straight up said no i told her it came with a charger. I was livid they didnt have any batteries to give me at that location and told me I had to go to another location tomorrow to get one. And so I asked for a refund because I had bought it 20 minutes eaier and was sold false advertising and they said they couldn't take it back.
