I checked on the progress of my bag a couple of times and noticed when it was almost done. I kept thinking that someone would come check in but after 45 minutes...still no one. My bag was empty and I continued to wait and enjoy the quiet time. But I guess too much time passed because several minutes later, I looked down at the IV in my arm and the tube was filing up with blood. Feeling slightly panicked, (not knowing if this was supposed to happen) I unhooked my IV bag and brought it to the front desk. She was on the phone but looked surprised when I came out with a blood filled IV. She quickly turned the dial and assured me the nurse would come see me soon.
