The nail tech caused my fingers to bleed, took all the length off my nails and left them rough and uneven. The polish was applied with so many thick layers that three hours later it still was tacky wet- this is after the technician used quick dry spray to help. I had my visit prepaid and they tried to leave a service off. They had to move my appointment because the person who was supposed to do one of my services walked out that day. They stopped during my massage to go call the owner to figure it out. I reached out via email to give the owner a chance to rectify the situation but never received a response. The facials are incredible and the only reason I gave 2 stars. I have included a photo of the reciept and Mani Pedi since the owner is claiming I wasn't there.

Twice I have made appointments online and twice these appointments have magically disappeared…read moreresulting in a wasted trip. First time, the salon said they called to cancel my appointment, then they said the appointment wasn't there to begin with, then blamed it on a "system error" because all of the massage therapist had quit. Not sure why all the different stories, just say sorry and make it right! They made me another appointment for the following week for a 90 minutes deep tissue massage, arrived and the therapist told me that she didn't "have time" for a 90 minute so I ended up getting a 60 minute massage, despite the appointment on the books being scheduled as a 90 minute massage. It actually was a really nice massage, so wanted to try to get another one. Just arrived back from another appointment that my husband made three weeks prior; I tried to call to confirm, no one answered the phone, arrived to find out the appointment wasn't scheduled. Realized the appointment I made was with a therapist that is no longer listed on the website. Obviously, I won't go back as they will not take responsibility for their errors and the online system is horrible. Definitely do not recommend as they cannot seem to get their own scheduling issues resolved. La Bella likes to respond that negative reviews are phony reviews...this one is not.

Always looking for new friends, grocery stores we prefer, other businesses we will frequent, new dental office, eye doctor ect. Welp finding a new hair dresser is on that list. I searched Yelp, and Facebook pages for a new salon. Tiffany's salon was mentioned many times. I loved the reviews she had in her FB page. Nothing on Yelp at the time, but I fixed that. I booked my appointment 2.5 months in advance. She is known to book up fast, so a tip, book ahead! Booking was very simple. Tiffany is great with communication. The location was easy to find and parking was simple. She is located in Yorktown, in a building with a small amount of other businesses. It was fairly quiet during my appointment. When I arrived Tiffany was so kind and inviting. We discussed what I was looking for and she went right to work. She was great in exposing products she was using and what her process was. We bonded over a few things. She was great at keeping a conversation going and keeping it light. She has great knowledge on hair. In all I was in love with the finished product and left there feeling amazing!! It was one of the most comfortable I have been in the chair. I can not wait for my July appointment.

I received a call back and was inquiring about the facial services to better understand what they…read moreare since there were no description on the website. See attached photo. i have never been there before so I think it's only fair to ask questions such as how long is the facial etc. I must've triggered some sort of insecurity because she resorted to saying how long she's been doing this which didn't address my question. She became defensive and told me that I should go with whomever I typically go to. Funny thing is I never even said that I was interested in booking an appointment as I was just calling to inquire just like I did with other places in Williamsburg. With that type of customer service over the phone, I wouldn't even bother seeing how it would be like dealing with her in person. I even told her I'm from out of town and only going to Williamsburg for vacation. With that attitude I don't know how you would compete against other places. I rarely publish reviews but felt compelled to write one to help out other consumers who are contemplating whether to try this place out or not. I don't think this person should be in business if you don't know how to help customers. What makes certain businesses last longer than others is when they can provide an overall positive experience from start to end. You really should reassess if you're in the right service industry given its health/wellness-related. I support small facial salons because they tend to be more passionate about what they do and it shows in how they talk about their services. I've been getting facials all over as I travel on vacation almost every month and typically not the same place and I always get a facial or massage in places I've never been to as I like to come home relaxed - after all that's why people go on vacation. I'm not sure why this individual would feel the need to dictate what I do on my time and where I should go for my facial. Response to owner's comment: That is not accurate that I would ask if you would screw up my face. Why in the world would anyone ask that? That doesn't even make sense. I simply was asking what the difference was between the clarifying facial vs the pure results facial, what product you use and if you included extractions. The fact that you said: I'm not at the shop to remember my products" is concerning given how much experience you claim to have and how you say you customize it according to the individual. You couldn't even name one brand! I ask because I prefer organic products and because you couldn't tell me what product you use then what makes you think I would've booked with you to even reject me? My comment was that unlike massages where its likely can't rare to cause any permanent damage in comparison to facials. We only have one face and if someone messes it up due to the product they use or being too hard when doing extractions; this can be irreversible. I explained this was why I was asking questions so I can feel comfortable and understand what your services entail and what product you used, but I never accused you nor directed that towards you or ever questioned your experience. I was surprised she reacted the way she did. The fact that you are being defensive again and turning this around on me speaks the kind of person you are. If you read my review if I wanted to bash you I probably would have said: It's 2025 perhaps if you invested on designing a site that is professional and user friendly then people wouldn't have to call for clarification and ask questions. I should've not even bothered to inquire as soon as I saw how plain your site looked and on top of that it's not even secure. No one has provided a review on your business in Yelp since 2020! For someone who has over 20 years being an esthetician and to only have 3 testimonials on their website? If you are truly as good as you claim to be I would think you'd have more customers raving about you. Even If your facial was free I wouldn't bother going there. There are plenty of places in Williamsburg with owners who are kind and helpful. Perhaps you can learn from Karina from Ardent Skincare. I asked her the same questions I asked you on the same day but see the difference between how she responded to me versus how you did in my attached video. Notice how she didn't need to mention how long she's been an esthetician because it's irrelevant. Besides who would ever tell a potential customer that they suck? I truly hope people see my review. As you can see I've never posted one ever but this person is appalling and people deserve to know her true colors. By the way most business owners appreciate candid feedback. If you can't accept honest reviews then you shouldn't be on here. These are intended for customers to share to help others.
