I recently moved back to town and was excited to try this spot because it reminded me of a shop I…read moreused to love on W Capitol Ave. Walking in, I was happy to see a similar menu and felt nostalgic right away. Unfortunately, the service didn't match my expectations. After waiting in line, the woman at the register finished helping the customer ahead of me, then walked away without acknowledging me. I stood there for a bit until a young man noticed and kindly stepped in to take my order. I really appreciated his attentiveness and friendliness. While waiting for my two hibiscus lychee green teas, I noticed some confusion behind the counter. The employee preparing the drinks couldn't find the green tea and had to keep asking the same woman for help. She eventually took over, but the drinks didn't taste right. There was no green tea flavor, or lychee only hibiscus (I'm not saying she didn't add it, it didn't taste like it.) Honestly, the bigger issue for me was the lack of customer service. The previous location I used to visit always felt welcoming, so this was disappointing. A simple acknowledgment like "I'll be right with you" would have gone a long way. That said, I DO want to give credit to the employee who stepped in and helped me--he was polite and attentive. As for the woman with short hair, I hope she works on her customer service approach. I may come back to try the ice cream since I think it's Gunther's and that's always a safe tasty choice, but I likely won't be ordering the iced teas again. March 18,2026 @6:58ish pm

Love this place!! We had to drive 25 minutes out of the way for dessert and it did not disappoint!…read moreThere were shaved ice, ice cream, smoothies, and alkaline water. The people helping us were so fast and kind. We asked them what we should do later that night and they gave us good recommendations for out-of-towners. Our ice cream was delicious. I got the kid size Oreo! It was so good. We ate our ice cream in their back patio. They have a tarp and some picnic benches for their customers. There's an afghan market next door where we got bread to-go! It is a perfect spot!

I originally thought this was a good place to get my water. Clean store with out a lot of clutter…read more I was greeted when I came in and the guy behind the counter (the owner) seemed nice so I bought a punch card. I wish I new his true character before I did this. I use 3 gallon jugs because I am a disabled person and am limited to lifting 25 pounds. I had been filling my bottles for a while when my wife joined me one day, and we asked if we ever needed, would they be able to help my wife load them into the car. She is a very sweet 72 year old lady and can only lift up to 10 pounds. The lady behind the counter cheerfully said of course! Fast forward a few weeks and I was unable to go so my wife went. She filled our 4 little bottles turned to the owner and asked if he could please load them into the car when he could. There was one other customer in the store that heard her and he just picked up the bottles and put them on the cart for her. At the same time the owner started berating her that his business is self serve and she shouldn't come in if she can't do it herself. When my wife mentioned I usually do this, but we had asked on a prior visit, he said it was his sister or sister inlaw, and she never should have said that. The only other customer had left and he grudgingly agreed to do it this one time, all the while saying things to make her feel bad. My wife came home in tears. I was completely blown away. I have always offered to help people in need often without them asking first. I called the owner a few days later and asked for him to tell his side and he confirmed all of this telling me, also, that it's a self service business. I informed him that the Americans With Disabilities act requires businesses to make reasonable adjustments to their policies to ensure those with disabilities have equal access to goods and services. He interrupted me multiple times and said the city said he was ADA compliant. I explained to him that his building may be compliant, but this has nothing to do with her ability to get the water filled. As he continued to argue with me, I read him the exact vergiage from the ADA act. As he continued to argue with me further, I gave him an ultimatum, afree to read the ADA act, or I would file an official complaint and let the authorities educate him on the subject. He finally agreed to read it. I don't know if he ever did, but I won't be going back to his business. I have actually never experienced this kind of lack of compassion from anyone in my life. Most people I know would cheerfully help a little old lady in need not send her home in tears. Shame on you.
